“Update: I’ve been coming here and getting my nails done once a month basically for almost 5 years straight. I recently decided to learn the violin so I can no longer have long nails or gel nails (too thick) so I’ve been growing my current nails out since Dec 27. It’s been basically two months and there still is no chipping or lifting. (Ignore how ugly my fingers and nails look ?)

I went to at least 5 different nail salons closer to where I live in Astoria but still haven’t found anything better than this spot. It’s about an hour away but still worth it. Pictures speak for themselves— the one I included shows my old nails that were done here after 5 weeks. No chipping and no lifting at all. I’ve always had lifting and chipping with plain gel nails at other salons within two weeks. The broken nail part is my fault because I work with my hands daily. Otherwise my nails stay perfect.“
