I went to the Latham salon for a male to female make up session with Olivia for Halloween.She is totally amazing and has a great sense of humor.We spoke literally for the entire time as she was doing the makeover which was just as fun as doing the makeover itself.I am 55 years old,told her what I was shooting for and just had her run with it.I was expecting something cool but she added touches on her own and she totally knocked it out! She should be working in Hollywood and the atmosphere and other staff there are fantastic! HIGHlY RECOMMEND THIS SALON!

My 11 YO son’s haircut got very messed up by anther barber right before the start of school. Mr Carter got him in last minute and before school started and made it look great. My son only wants him to cut his hair now. It helps that he always plays good stuff on the TV.

Lexi has been my hair stylist for years! She’s amazing. I constantly go back and forth between dark and light in the summer and winter and she always makes my hair look amazing and keeps it healthy! She’ll tell me the truth when she thinks my hair needs more cut off or to not bleach it too much. But at the same time, when I tell her just to trim the tinesttt amount off, she does it! She listens to her clients wants and needs and won’t ever stride away from what you want. I’ve had hair stylist who don’t always listen to me, cut too much off, or go on the extreme side. Lexi won’t do that.
Ashley was so generous with her time and talents! I came in for microblading in anticipation of hair loss from chemotherapy and found Ashley to be kind, empathetic, and supportive. She answered all of my questions, explained what she was doing, and regularly checked in to make sure I was happy with her work. She was also extremely professional and detail oriented. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Amy is amazing! She is so good at what she does.. she never has to ask me about about color or length.. she just knows what looks good and it always does. In terms of cleanliness, she is so diligent with cleaning up and sanitizing- I trust her work and judgement completely. She is the only one I trust to cut my curly hair and I even travel two hours to have her cut it. You can't go wrong with Amy as your hairdresser.

This place is awesome, and I had a memorable experience. I got Miyagi’s contact from a friend, who highly recommended her, so I booked an appointment right away.
When I arrived, she welcomed me professionally and made me feel comfortable from the start. She has an incredible personality and clearly knows how to make clients feel at ease. Although the session began more quickly than I expected and our expectations weren’t completely aligned at first, we talked through everything respectfully.
As the appointment continued, the atmosphere became much more relaxed. Miyagi took the time to make sure I was comfortable, and her techniques were both soothing and effective. Toward the end of the session, she apologized for the earlier misunderstanding and even extended my time, which I really appreciated. That thoughtful gesture completely changed my impression and showed that she genuinely cares about her clients’ experience.
By the time I left, I felt much better about the visit and was impressed by her professionalism and kindness. I’m already looking forward to booking a longer two-hour session next time.i highly recommend Miyagi to anyone looking for a top-notch massage experience.

These were my very first tattoos and I was super nervous. I had been thinking about them for probably a year, and I'm so glad I did my research and chose this place. All the staff were great. The instructions on the website are super helpful for someone who has never had a tattoo before.
Called for a walk in piercing and I was welcomed just before closing time. Got my eyebrow pierced and David was gentle and sterile through out the whole process. He was friendly and informative, explained how to care for my piercing on my own. Would recommend.
Got my Tragus and a triple forward helix and my friend got a belly button piercing, it was a really awesome and comfortable experience, everyone was super nice and chill. Bishop was our piercer and he was really great, will totally visit again for my next piercing or a tattoo! Would totally recommend.

Aidan at Drain-O-Matic did a great job for us from start to finish. He talked with the supplier to make sure the 2 toilets we wanted would fit in the bathrooms with the existing water supply. He checked in several times proactively to let us know the status of the toilet delivery. He arrived for the installation on time, was super friendly and efficient, cleaned everything up, and the toilets work great. He also snaked the bathtub drain, removed lots of hair, and got everything flowing again. Highly recommend!

We couldn't be happier with the job done by Capital District Electric. We had had substandard work done by another electrician that included large holes left in our wall, and Capital District fixed all of that work, strung wires through the wall so wire mold could be removed, and also expertly fixed the holes in our wall. We were very impressed with his work, communication and cleanliness. Highly recommend.

Caruso and the team are amazing people! Our family was out of power for about 6 days. I had called Caruso on the 5th day Thursday without power. They had service manager come out to the house to assess the situation. Caruso team, rearranged their workload for the next day Friday, to have their team come and replace and repair reconnect everything, we had electricity inspector at the house by midday, passed inspection first time right!
The longest part of the waiting was National Grid coming out to the house to restore power ⚡️late Friday night!!
Ooh, get this our family got a follow up call from Caruso team to make sure we were good and lights were working.

Wade Electric came out a few years ago and replaced our electrical box and also gave us a hookup for our generator as well as some other electrical work. Bob Wade came himself to do the estimate and he had another person come with him to do the work. The company is professional, punctual, and goes above and beyond to make sure things are done accurately and efficiently.We recently needed more work done and called on Bob and the Wade Electric team. Again this experience has gone above and beyond our expectations. Bob came out with another employee of Wade and they did a superior job. I have told others about Wade Electric and the positive experiences we have had. The prices are more than fair and I like the fact I am dealing with a trustworthy, honest, family owned and operated business. I know we will continue to call on Bob and his team whenever we need electrical work done. Our home was built in 1924 and I don't know of any other electrical company that could do the job Bob and his tram have done for us. Superior work!

Had to copy a key to my house after work on a Monday...it was 4:13 and I debated calling - especially after reading some of these reviews and reviews for many other locksmiths in the area - but my sister recommended this place so I had to give it a chance. Randy picked up the phone and was polite and gave me the green light to come in and see if my key could be copied, even though they were closing soon. They can copy keys within minutes...it was seriously so fast, and Randy was very attentive to details and I was surprised by how affordable it was. I would never try to copy any key again at a little kiosk in Walmart or Home Depot (they all said they couldn't copy my key for supply or other issues). I would come here again and would recommend anyone to go here at least to copy keys.
Got two keys copied. It took less than 5 minutes and cost me less than $10. Wonderful service and much faster and cheaper than those dumb key machines. Support your local businesses!
Sorangy and her crew did such an amazing job on deep cleaning my new home. They even took care of areas I didn't think to ask about. They were very thorough and everything was left sparkling. Last year they did the windows and those were great products put in professionally at a good price, I like that they make them themselves and guarantee their work, and their own crew does the installation. Tommy from sales was awesome and on the ball with answers, and our project concluded very well, we were so impressed with the quality and speed and craftsmanship of the bathroom updates. They did 2 in a week (shared bath and a powder room)!
The crew was incredible, smart and skillful and polite and personable, I had a very good feeling we picked the right company to do these based on our window project earlier. Showed up at 7am, called us to let us know he was going to put up the NYS signs, then sprayed all the foliage around our house and was done in a half hour. We could smell the spray inside even with our windows closed. Hopefully it will kill the ticks that gave me Babesiasis blood malaria!
Dan was very friendly and he explained everything to help me understand how he was going to treat my numerous wasp and yellow jacket nests. He also told me about the follow up visit and what I should expect.

I had a pine tree that was starting to uproot and leaning on / starting to bend my chain link fence in my backyard. It was surrounded by electrical and cable wires.
Upon researching for good reviews on the Nextdoor app…..I had several companies come out for estimates.
The other companies were hesitant with the wires, and gave their estimate. However Edwin with ER Tree Service very confidently said they could take care of it and gave a fair price.
His men came out on the prearranged date & were so good at what they do. They skillfully took down the tree, bent the fence back, & cleaned up afterwards. They were so hardworking/ professional.

I lost a few teeth and had to acquire some cheap partial dentures and this shop in Albany NY truly came thru. The denture expert discussed all of my alternatives including flexible partial dentures which felt so much less bulky than I had imagined. They also conducted a denture reline to make sure everything fit correctly after a few days. Eating comfortably is a game changer.

My infant was struggling with limited head mobility and severe digestive issues that caused hours of crying every night. Dr. Hailea Palmer was excellent with my baby; she performed an assessment and provided adjustments and home exercises during our first visit. We saw immediate improvement, and after a few weeks, my baby can now turn their head to both sides and the digestive issues have almost completely resolved. In contrast to a previous experience I had with another local chiropractor where we saw no results, the care here has been exceptional. Our Ozzy attends daycare two days a week, he loves it and so do we. He always comes home tired. He is excited to go in and sometimes doesn’t want to leave. Everyone on staff is wonderful as well as the owners who are regularly present. It is clean and a warm happy environment. I love being able to take a look at the cameras, but don’t feel the need to watch constantly as I know he is well taken care of. They have the most adorable gift items in the retail shop!
Candlelit yoga with Chris is my absolute favorite yoga class. He eases everyone in gently with meditative music, then gradually builds into uplifting vinyasa flows set to a fun mix of pop and occasional EDM. The music makes me want to bebop in the dark while holding some of the more challenging poses, and it helps me stay relaxed and playful instead of intimidated.
He closes each class with calming relaxation and a short inspirational reading while we melt into our yoga mats. Throughout the session, Chris gives clear guidance and encouraging little quips that make it easy to follow along, even in the dark, without constantly needing to look around at everyone else to figure what what I'm supposed to be doing.
The candlelight and warmth of the studio create such a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that it honestly makes for a perfect date night or solo reset. The darkness also gives me the freedom to try poses without worrying about looking graceful (or, in my case, like a “broken swan”), and the music kindly disguises the occasional thud when I lose my balance.
