Greg was great to work with. He walked me through several options for installing a new HVAC system and was a very helpful with selecting the right one and navigating the New York State clean heat rebate process. He saved me money and the system has been running great through the winter and my gas bill has been MUCH lower than the old system. Highly recommend!

Found my fabulous stylist Jim, when I first moved to Albany. Since then I have referred quite a few friends. He is a true artist, constantly learning and teaching the latest coloring techniques and trends. And he is entertaining! The shop is wheelchair accessible with underground parking and an accessible bathroom in the building.

He’s very talented, pays close attention to detail, and communicates well throughout the process. Nolan has now cut my hair twice in the last three months and both are the unquestioned best haircuts I’ve ever received. My wife normally doesn’t even notice when I get my normal cut, but since I started going to Nolan she tells me how great my hair looks.
Initially, I was perturbed by his lack of conversation during the haircut, until it clicked for me. I’m conditioned to make small talk with the person cutting my hair, and most of the time that small talk bothers me. Like, cut my hair, don’t ask me about the mushrooms my friend did at Phish last week.
I got a half hour of mostly silence while I was receiving a kickass haircut and I left the shop feeling all positive. Nolan, if you see this, thank you. I didn’t know I needed you until you cut my hair and made no effort to get to know me. I am dead serious, all my haircuts will be with Nolan moving forward.

I've been going here for years..I love Kiki she's the main one that gives me a manicure and pedicure but I've had Lisa and her husband do it as well. I love them all. They do a great job. I usually get a manicure and pedicure but also get my eyebrows waxed and have had the chair massage. My husband gets manicure, pedicure and chair massage as well usually by Lisa. They're all very nice, helpful, accommodating. They have taken me late before and stayed late. The salon is always clean and they run sales. I always get compliments on my nails! I really love them and recommend them!

Lexi has been my hair stylist for years! She’s amazing. I constantly go back and forth between dark and light in the summer and winter and she always makes my hair look amazing and keeps it healthy! She’ll tell me the truth when she thinks my hair needs more cut off or to not bleach it too much. But at the same time, when I tell her just to trim the tinesttt amount off, she does it! She listens to her clients wants and needs and won’t ever stride away from what you want. I’ve had hair stylist who don’t always listen to me, cut too much off, or go on the extreme side. Lexi won’t do that.
Ashley was so generous with her time and talents! I came in for microblading in anticipation of hair loss from chemotherapy and found Ashley to be kind, empathetic, and supportive. She answered all of my questions, explained what she was doing, and regularly checked in to make sure I was happy with her work. She was also extremely professional and detail oriented. This place is awesome, and I had a memorable experience. I got Miyagi’s contact from a friend, who highly recommended her, so I booked an appointment right away.
When I arrived, she welcomed me professionally and made me feel comfortable from the start. She has an incredible personality and clearly knows how to make clients feel at ease. Although the session began more quickly than I expected and our expectations weren’t completely aligned at first, we talked through everything respectfully.
As the appointment continued, the atmosphere became much more relaxed. Miyagi took the time to make sure I was comfortable, and her techniques were both soothing and effective. Toward the end of the session, she apologized for the earlier misunderstanding and even extended my time, which I really appreciated. That thoughtful gesture completely changed my impression and showed that she genuinely cares about her clients’ experience.

After waiting 20 years to get more Tat's I could not have found a more relaxing and friendlier environment. I did my research and tried a few places but the vibe was not there with the space or the different artist i came across. Jeff not only provided a great service but his recommendations were spot on and more in alignment with what I wanted to achieve. I also met some other Modern Body Art artist while getting work done, in particular Gabe and a few others. Their energy all seemed to match, which made the space and experience much more gratifying. We couldn't be happier with the job done by Capital District Electric. We had had substandard work done by another electrician that included large holes left in our wall, and Capital District fixed all of that work, strung wires through the wall so wire mold could be removed, and also expertly fixed the holes in our wall. We were very impressed with his work, communication and cleanliness. Highly recommend.

Caruso and the team are amazing people! Our family was out of power for about 6 days. I had called Caruso on the 5th day Thursday without power. They had service manager come out to the house to assess the situation. Caruso team, rearranged their workload for the next day Friday, to have their team come and replace and repair reconnect everything, we had electricity inspector at the house by midday, passed inspection first time right!
The longest part of the waiting was National Grid coming out to the house to restore power ⚡️late Friday night!!
Ooh, get this our family got a follow up call from Caruso team to make sure we were good and lights were working.

Wade Electric came out a few years ago and replaced our electrical box and also gave us a hookup for our generator as well as some other electrical work. Bob Wade came himself to do the estimate and he had another person come with him to do the work. The company is professional, punctual, and goes above and beyond to make sure things are done accurately and efficiently.We recently needed more work done and called on Bob and the Wade Electric team. Again this experience has gone above and beyond our expectations. Bob came out with another employee of Wade and they did a superior job. I have told others about Wade Electric and the positive experiences we have had. The prices are more than fair and I like the fact I am dealing with a trustworthy, honest, family owned and operated business. I know we will continue to call on Bob and his team whenever we need electrical work done. Our home was built in 1924 and I don't know of any other electrical company that could do the job Bob and his tram have done for us. Superior work!

Had to copy a key to my house after work on a Monday...it was 4:13 and I debated calling - especially after reading some of these reviews and reviews for many other locksmiths in the area - but my sister recommended this place so I had to give it a chance. Randy picked up the phone and was polite and gave me the green light to come in and see if my key could be copied, even though they were closing soon. They can copy keys within minutes...it was seriously so fast, and Randy was very attentive to details and I was surprised by how affordable it was. I would never try to copy any key again at a little kiosk in Walmart or Home Depot (they all said they couldn't copy my key for supply or other issues). I would come here again and would recommend anyone to go here at least to copy keys.
Got two keys copied. It took less than 5 minutes and cost me less than $10. Wonderful service and much faster and cheaper than those dumb key machines. Support your local businesses!
Sorangy and her crew did such an amazing job on deep cleaning my new home. They even took care of areas I didn't think to ask about. They were very thorough and everything was left sparkling. My infant was struggling with limited head mobility and severe digestive issues that caused hours of crying every night. Dr. Hailea Palmer was excellent with my baby; she performed an assessment and provided adjustments and home exercises during our first visit. We saw immediate improvement, and after a few weeks, my baby can now turn their head to both sides and the digestive issues have almost completely resolved. In contrast to a previous experience I had with another local chiropractor where we saw no results, the care here has been exceptional. I highly recommend Dr. Palmer and Dr. Deyo at Upstate Chiropractic and Wellness.

Candlelit yoga with Chris is my absolute favorite yoga class. He eases everyone in gently with meditative music, then gradually builds into uplifting vinyasa flows set to a fun mix of pop and occasional EDM. The music makes me want to bebop in the dark while holding some of the more challenging poses, and it helps me stay relaxed and playful instead of intimidated.
He closes each class with calming relaxation and a short inspirational reading while we melt into our yoga mats. Throughout the session, Chris gives clear guidance and encouraging little quips that make it easy to follow along, even in the dark, without constantly needing to look around at everyone else to figure what what I'm supposed to be doing.
The candlelight and warmth of the studio create such a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that it honestly makes for a perfect date night or solo reset. The darkness also gives me the freedom to try poses without worrying about looking graceful (or, in my case, like a “broken swan”), and the music kindly disguises the occasional thud when I lose my balance.
