My first visit to the Wine Spa and it did not disappoint in fact it exceeded my expectations. Warm welcome by Angela who offered me a seat at the bar with a glass of wine. Angela being a sommelier offered me a few different wines to taste. Pretty good selection of local as well.
Lindsay did my pedicure and manicure and did an excellent job. She was very attentive to my needs and we had a nice conversation. It a lovely spot and would be a great spot for a group for sure. Angela was very attentive and I was offered snacks from a huge basket of goodies twice during my visit. A very nice touch for sure.
They only do manicures, pedicures and self facials at the bar with a esthetician which would be great fun for a group.
I would definitely recommend the Wine Spa for anyone wanting a pedicure or manicure and would like to enjoy a glass of wine while doing so. It was a great experience and I will be back. Thank you.

I went to 808 for my first ever tattoo, and what a great experience. I had Nithik as my artist, I can't believe how talented he is, made me very comfortable and explained everything he was doing. The atmosphere of the shop itself was calm clean and all the staff were extremely friendly.
I hired Devas Cleaning Services to a deep clean of my furnished condo. they did a great job of safely navigating around the furniture and bringing the unit back to its former glory! The oven was a mammoth task and it was gleaming after they finished.
Clear communication and felt very comfortable leaving them to it on the day. What a joy to come back to such a clean space!

I had several active leaks in my house, so I needed to address the problem quickly. I decided to switch from shingles to a low-slope roof, and choosing Central Roofing turned out to be the right decision. They work with the Supreme flat roof system and provided an excellent solution for my situation.
Chris was honest and straightforward throughout the entire process, especially when it came to costs and approvals. Communication with him and his team was always easy. They are knowledgeable, hardworking, and clearly committed to delivering quality results.
What really stood out to me was Chris’s professionalism and integrity. On the first day, he showed up with his team ready to start, but because it was drizzling and rain was in the forecast, he decided to cancel the job for the day. I know that probably cost him money, but he didn’t want to take the risk of opening the roof with rain in the forecast. Not everyone would make that call, and I really appreciated it.
Unfortunately, the plywood was completely soaked and they ended up redecking the whole roof, no cutting corners, and spent extra time on my project to do it right. The team handled everything smoothly, and the final result looks great.
I’m very happy with their work and would highly recommend Central Roofing to anyone needing roofing services.

Absolutely the best. Cleaned my windows inside and outside this morning and they really sparkle, not a smear in sight. Also cleaned my 45ft deck glass both sides, which was not an easy job as both sides were covered in salt and grime from the ocean. Also cleaned all of the white supporting structure, so that the whole area now looks new again. I've used Sunrise previously for window cleaning at various homes, and each time I've been absolutely delighted with the job.

I was lucky enough to be able to pop in prior to a work conference and get cleaned up by Rob. He was great to chat with, and sent me on my way with a great fade and beard cleanup. My wife was very impressed; somehow I ended up looking younger than when I went in!
The barber shop itself was really cool, with cassette tapes and VHS tapes I recognized growing up, while playing the pop-punk that was the soundtrack to my formative years (blink-182, Fall Out Boy, Gob, All Time Low, etc). A great vibe overall, and if I lived nearby, I would certainly be a regular here!

Came to Susan after a bad experience at another salon, that damaged my nails and was an unhygienic environment. She took me in last minute and made time for me despite her busy schedule.It was the first time I experienced such care and expertise getting my nails done. I am so so happy with my outcome and experience at Seven collective. I just moved to Halifax in the last couple of months and am always nervous about finding a new salon. The past few salons I've tried before coming to Nova Scotia, I ran into communication issues in regards to my desired outcome. Macy was absolutely stellar and was very thorough. She did an absolutely beautiful job, both with my highlights and style. I have a naturally very difficult hair texture and often end up leaving an appointment embarrassed of the poofy mess I have to walk out with. She was very mindful of my requests for little hair product and nothing that would add to my texture, making it very easy to style the way I like for day 2 hair. Besides her skill and professionalism, she is also just lovely and very easy to chat with! Awesome experience, so glad I came here and will be booking with Macy for future maintenance ❤️

My two experiences with MANELAND hair has not disappointed. I like getting a haircut without discrimination. How is it that I went in as a first-time customer and got my haircut done by the salon owner themself and wasn't assessed on how bankable of a client I was going to be? it felt too good to be true. I got my last haircut done with Clarence for my graduation from Flight Attending school (picture shown). Even though I was having a disorderly day during my salon visit and it showed, Clarence was patient with me and treated me with care. I don't take kind service for granted and that's why I'm acknowledging it here on Google.

This is a review for massage therapist Shao at the Kaye Street location. I've had 1000's of massages over my life some for relaxation and others for quite serious injuries. Shao is the best massage therapist ever, simple as that. He is professional, skilled, thorough and keenly interested in relieving your pain and always checking in about pressure and how I was feeling. Ladies please know I understand about some of you prefer a female therapist but be confident that Shao is a male therapist who will make you feel 1000 percent comfortable with impeccable professionalism. He is just a sweet guy who is very dedicated to providing the best massage and trust me you'll be in good hands. I will continue to book with him. Thank you so much Shao.

I genuinely cannot say enough good things about Lilith. From the second I sat down, she went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. I came in with an idea, and not only did she absolutely understand the vision, she helped improve it in ways I never even would have thought of. She found a better reference, helped redesign and place everything perfectly, and somehow turned my ideas into tattoos that came out even better than I imagined.
Her work is INSANELY clean. Every line is crisp, every detail is perfect, and you can tell she takes so much pride in what she does. She’s an incredibly talented artist with a great eye for design and placement, and it honestly shows in every part of her work.
On top of all of that, she’s just such a cool person. Smart, kind, funny, welcoming, and genuinely interesting to talk to. The whole experience felt comfortable and collaborative from start to finish.

My husband had a tattoo done by Lucy Dudko in Feb 2026 at the Nora Bernard location. Lucy listened, consulted about the colours, made sure that he was comfortable with the placement and what she was going to do before she started. She was very gentle and very conscientious regarding sterile technique. Lucy is also a very kind person and was very welcoming. The shop was extremely clean and staff are very welcoming too. And Lindsay, the goddess of everything, has a fantastic play list.

I just had a new laminate countertop installed in my kitchen by Maritime Countertops. It was an excellent experience from start to finish. Cheryl provided knowledge and advise that helped me select the right product and pattern for my countertop. I would have been quite overwhelmed without her assistance. Linus did such a professional job on the installation. Our cabinets are older and not standard size. I just had my second massage with Shannon. She works magic! I was having upper back pain/neck and 1-2 migraines a week in my 2nd trimester. After one massage no more upper back or neck pain, and lower frequency and duration of migraines. The set up is great for belly and tender bits during pregnancy. Would highly recommend! I plan to continue with Shannon for massage for the duration of my pregnancy. She is absolutely wonderful.
I had a wonderful experience with Serena Dixon today. She was incredibly professional, friendly, and took the time to explain every detail about the session including how each part would benefit me. Before starting, she asked if I had any previous injuries and explained how they could have happened, along with helpful tips on how to prevent them in the future. I really appreciated how thorough she was and how comfortable she made me feel throughout the session. The massage itself was amazing, and I left feeling completely relaxed and refreshed. Not only am I benefiting from really great treatment (including dry needling, lots of exercises for strengthening, and strategies of preventative care), I've enjoyed my visits thoroughly and really trust his expertise.
Relaxing atmosphere, professional, personable, adaptable and respectful in every way. I go to Alex for massage when I have back issues as he is always able to help. Unlike one reviewer, I find the music very enjoyable, and I am sure if asked, they would adjust the music to your liking.
I call Terry The Forensic Massage Therapist. He identified things I was feeling that I didn't even know weren't normal or could be fixed. The MLD Clinic program drastically reduced swelling throughout my body that I always kind of thought was a problem but couldn't seem to resolve with regular advice and treatments. I have knobby knee caps, who knew! And there's no list of other things you have to do on your own to see results. Terry just says he'll help you feel like being more active and, in turn, improve your overall lifestyle. And that's what he did for me.
