I was lucky enough to be able to pop in prior to a work conference and get cleaned up by Rob. He was great to chat with, and sent me on my way with a great fade and beard cleanup. My wife was very impressed; somehow I ended up looking younger than when I went in!
The barber shop itself was really cool, with cassette tapes and VHS tapes I recognized growing up, while playing the pop-punk that was the soundtrack to my formative years (blink-182, Fall Out Boy, Gob, All Time Low, etc). A great vibe overall, and if I lived nearby, I would certainly be a regular here!
Walked in to this barber shop today, and pleasantly surprised by the quality of cut and overall relaxed vibe of the place and with some interesting albeit heavier music playing in the background. Rob did a great job with little instruction. Pleased to see, unlike many, he did not rely on the electric trimmer but also knows his way with scissors.
I’ve been getting my hair cut by Rob for well over a decade, and honestly, I can’t imagine trusting anyone else the same way. He’s also been cutting my son Francis’s hair since he was a toddler — Francis is 11 now — so that alone should tell you the level of consistency, trust, and care Rob brings to his craft.
Every single cut, without exception, has been top-tier. We’ve always walked out feeling sharp, confident, and energized — and the compliments never stop.
