I know that probably cost him money, but he didn’t want to take the risk of opening the roof with rain in the forecast. Not everyone would make that call, and I really appreciated it.

Unfortunately, the plywood was completely soaked and they ended up redecking the whole roof, no cutting corners, and spent extra time on my project to do it right. The team handled everything smoothly, and the final result looks great.
