Shortly after my spring 2023 arrival in Halifax, I was stricken by an outrageously painful and debilitating attack of sciatica. I am not a stranger to chiropractic. I made a telephone appointment with Dr. Lohrenz's clinic reception staff. The receptionist listened patiently, expressed concern about my welfare, and booked me in for an almost-immediate appointment. There was no fussing about and no delay. Shortly afterwards, hobbling in with excruciating pain, I met Dr. Lohrenz who provided the most comprehensive consultation that I have ever received from anyone in the healthcare profession. -0- Dr. Lohrenz listened, without interrupting, to what I explained -0- He was not rushed -0- He did a visual assessment of my condition (I could not sit) -0- He asked me for feedback as he physically assessed my condition -0- He gave me a thorough explanation of my condition, in plain language, without the use of professional jargon -0- His treatment immediately relieved much pain -0- I booked a follow-up schedule for three times a week -0- Clinic staff helped me to the door -0- fifty feet past the door, my leg just stopped working, and the pain returned -0- Clinic staff quickly helped me into the treatment room for an immediate emergency treatment -0- Dr. Lohrenz provided me with a loaner walking-cane That was eight weeks ago. Today, I still have recurring pain: but it is greatly diminished . . . and I can walk! I now take treatments twice a week. I I have been coming to the chiropractic clinic for since 2005 Dr Lohrenz does a fantastic job of reducing and realinging my back and neck where I have most of my pain. Even after my MS diagnosis he has helped me with that, he's a good friend and a better chiropractor. Thanks Dr Brad.
