The place is tranquil, peaceful, very clean and welcoming. The massage room itself is very calm, comfortable with soft music. After massage, you are treated a small pot of Ginger honey tea, and Thai crepe cookies. What a wonderful massage spa! All masseuse are skillful and all my tension is gone.“

110 E 23rd St 2nd Floor, New York“I completed the 200hr teacher training this spring, and it was an incredibly valuable experience.
Kacper is a very knowledgeable and supportive teacher. Although English is my second language, he was always patient, encouraged questions, and made sure everyone was keeping up.
The training covered yoga philosophy, anatomy, and safe teaching in a way that was easy to understand. One of the things I appreciated most was the strong emphasis on creating classes that are both physically and emotionally safe. We learned how to work with students who have pain or injuries and how to offer hands-on adjustments in a way that helps students feel safe and respected.
I also have to mention the amazing community. Kacper and everyone I met here were kind, caring, and brought such positive energy.
I’m truly grateful for this experience and would highly recommend this training!“

273 Closter Dock Rd, Closter“Blackbird Yoga Studio is truly a special place. From the moment you walk through the door, you feel welcomed, accepted, and completely at ease. The instructors create an environment that is warm, inclusive, and supportive, making every student feel like they belong, regardless of experience level.
What sets Blackbird apart is its commitment to authentic yoga. Every class feels like a genuine yoga experience rather than just another exercise class. The teachers thoughtfully incorporate mindfulness, breathwork, and yoga philosophy, creating a practice that nurtures both the body and mind. I leave each class feeling stronger, more centered, and deeply connected to myself.
The sense of community at Blackbird is remarkable. There is no judgment, no pressure—just encouragement, kindness, and a shared appreciation for the practice of yoga. If you’re looking for a studio where you can grow, feel supported, and experience yoga in its truest form, Blackbird Yoga Studio is an absolute gem. I cannot recommend it highly enough.“

35 Hudson St apt 3406w, Jersey City“Coach Adam has been a staple in my home (virtually) for more than five years. Prior to working with Adam, I was skeptical about online training. I received 10 sessions as a gift and signed up for a few workouts. Adam quickly assessed my health and abilities at the time which were in significant need of improvement. Half a decade later, I can truly say he is a master at his craft. He executes online training better than most trainers can in person. As a result I've lost almost thirty pounds, built muscle, increased my mobility, and improved my diet. Further, my overall health and energy levels are much improved which is essential when working in a fast-paced professional environment. Highly recommend working with Adam.“

38-01 23rd Ave #201, Astoria“I’ve been taking yoga at Yug for a few years and have enjoyed all of the teachers here. Recently I started reformer Pilates and love Eleonore’s classes. No other studios that I’ve tried since have compared. The classes are affordable and they frequently offer holiday deals. Most importantly, the teachers make me feel comfortable and safe and it’s overall a supportive environment!“
7AM - 10PM
12 St Marks Pl, New York“On the fence between a 3 and 4. I went here for a Pilates class, which is obviously less of a focus for the yoga studio. I liked the evident instructor knowledge, cueing and well rehearsed routine, solid technique with focus on breathing, that the instructor actually demoed the movements, generally good use of props, and the quiet environment of exposed brick walls. I wasn’t a fan of how softly the instructor spoke because it was at times hard to hear, 15 min. late policy felt a bit disruptive, minimal to no corrections, dirtiness of mirrors, simultaneous open windows with humidity and running A/C, same weight balls with different sizes, the massive towel to use as sliders that sometimes seemed to reduce sliding because it was so thick, clean up procedure of old sponges and spray, and ambiguity around which props to wipe down; most people didn’t wipe down props.“
8:30AM - 8:30PM
9-22 Onderdonk Ave, Ridgewood“I've been really enjoying attending classes here! The instructors are always friendly and helpful, and there is a good variety of classes in the schedule to choose from (different types of yoga, plus pilates and other stuff too!) Also, I'm someone who can be a little anxious about trying new things, especially in group settings, but I always feel at ease here--the vibe is very non-judgemental, which is so important to me. It took me a while to be brave enough to give it a shot but I am so glad I did, and will definitely keep coming back.“

The instructor, Tai, was informative, fun, and really attentive to everyone’s individual capabilities, which made the experience feel welcoming and comfortable. Such a positive first experience — highly recommend!“
“If yoga studios were dating profiles, Fyra (Modo back in the day) would be the one I'd delete the apps for.
I've practiced all over NYC, but this is one of the few studios I consistently return to. There's something for every mood: hot vinyasa, restorative yin, core yoga, + everything in between.
Quick shout-outs: Lyss for her focus on alignment + knowing exactly when to challenge you, Lawrence for his thoughtful sequencing and calm presence, and Betsy for reminding me to slow down + find more depth through the smallest adjustments.
In a city with endless options, it's saying something that I (and many others) keep finding my way back here.“

“I’ve been coming to this studio for a long time — it’s been over a year now. They have class schedules available almost every hour of the day. The instructors are experienced and engaging. I’ve always been satisfied so far. Especially when I had to make last-minute schedule changes, they were always understanding. They are particularly helpful in this regard compared to other studios. I can say it’s my favorite Pilates studio.“
