I’ve attended a couple of Alicia’s different classes (prenatal and general) and cannot recommend them enough. The atmosphere is welcoming and accommodating to all types of students. Alicia has so much knowledge and also cares a lot about her students. This translates into the benefits I feel after attending class, as well as the progress I've seen in my own practice. I look forward to class every week :)“

She is one of the people who truly feels your concern and makes sure she has the right treatment for it. I love the pieceful and calming environment that always makes me feel very relaxed and painless. Javier on the other hand has a different treatment approach but he is also much appreciated. 110 E 23rd St 2nd Floor, New York“I completed the 200hr teacher training this spring, and it was an incredibly valuable experience.
Kacper is a very knowledgeable and supportive teacher. Although English is my second language, he was always patient, encouraged questions, and made sure everyone was keeping up.
The training covered yoga philosophy, anatomy, and safe teaching in a way that was easy to understand. One of the things I appreciated most was the strong emphasis on creating classes that are both physically and emotionally safe. We learned how to work with students who have pain or injuries and how to offer hands-on adjustments in a way that helps students feel safe and respected.
I also have to mention the amazing community. Kacper and everyone I met here were kind, caring, and brought such positive energy.
I’m truly grateful for this experience and would highly recommend this training!“

- He and his team are always considerate in designing personalized programs that fit into my lifestyle and schedule. They are challenging but manageable.
- He's always super quick to followup with my progress, questions, and concerns.
Thanks to coach Adam, I was able to setup a healthy routine that's sustainable and my fitness has greatly improved!“

90 Furman St, Brooklyn“It's impossible to quantify the gratitude I have for OYH. The space that Anna has created, both literally -- a beautiful, calming, clean environment -- and energetically -- a container of love and community -- is unparalleled. I have taken hundreds of classes here and every teacher is incredibly knowledgable, creative, empathetic, and pays a great deal of respect to the lineage of yoga. The flows are inventive, the adjustments are supportive, the dharma talks are inspiring. My practice has greatly transformed and advanced since becoming a student of OYH. I am a staunch evangelist of this studio and cannot recommend it enough. It is a place to find sanctuary in a very chaotic city and has deepened my connection with my body, spirit, and mind. Thank you, thank you! I love you!“
7AM - 8:30PM

The whole place is so clean. Another highlight? The meditation room! Cozy little nook upstairs, try not to fall asleep. Highly recommended and 10/10 will be visiting again.“

7AM - 10PM
12 St Marks Pl, New York“On the fence between a 3 and 4. I went here for a Pilates class, which is obviously less of a focus for the yoga studio. I liked the evident instructor knowledge, cueing and well rehearsed routine, solid technique with focus on breathing, that the instructor actually demoed the movements, generally good use of props, and the quiet environment of exposed brick walls. I wasn’t a fan of how softly the instructor spoke because it was at times hard to hear, 15 min. late policy felt a bit disruptive, minimal to no corrections, dirtiness of mirrors, simultaneous open windows with humidity and running A/C, same weight balls with different sizes, the massive towel to use as sliders that sometimes seemed to reduce sliding because it was so thick, clean up procedure of old sponges and spray, and ambiguity around which props to wipe down; most people didn’t wipe down props.“
8:30AM - 8:30PM
9-22 Onderdonk Ave, Ridgewood“I've been really enjoying attending classes here! The instructors are always friendly and helpful, and there is a good variety of classes in the schedule to choose from (different types of yoga, plus pilates and other stuff too!) Also, I'm someone who can be a little anxious about trying new things, especially in group settings, but I always feel at ease here--the vibe is very non-judgemental, which is so important to me. It took me a while to be brave enough to give it a shot but I am so glad I did, and will definitely keep coming back.“
8AM - 8PM
485 Kings Hwy, Brooklyn“I’ve been coming here for a while and today is my last class unfortunately. I’m very happy with the staff being so collaborative and fixing the issues, system errors caused by me or by the system itself. I’m not even talking about The instructor yet. They were also amazing and so helpful. I have scoliosis and they always payed attention to the details and understood. Thank you so much everyone. Great job great business. I hope other locations would be as good as you’re doing?“
5 - 8PM
14-57 110th St, College Point“I am just out of the Lyra and Silk classes by Danielle Marie Fusco and I had so much fun.She has been teaching over 20 years and she is an expert on body movements. She knows better than my doctor teaching me how to exercise your injured finger. She is there for you to overcome the fear of body movements and turn that fear energy into fun enjoyable energy. She is very patient with slow learner and puts so much energy to correct the incorrect posture over and over so that student can learn it proper way. This takes lot of energy of teacher so not every teachers would do that but Danielle Marie Fusco does it so naturally may be it is from her 20 years of experience of teaching.I strongly recommend to take her class if you want to learn flexibility of body muscle movement. Not like the weights then stretching at the gym but rather continues body muscle movement to be flexible.Who doesn't appreciate that.OMG finding Danielle Marie Fusco's class is a game changer.Enroll her class now.It will be you who would get benefited from it.“
“If yoga studios were dating profiles, Fyra (Modo back in the day) would be the one I'd delete the apps for.
I've practiced all over NYC, but this is one of the few studios I consistently return to. There's something for every mood: hot vinyasa, restorative yin, core yoga, + everything in between.
Quick shout-outs: Lyss for her focus on alignment + knowing exactly when to challenge you, Lawrence for his thoughtful sequencing and calm presence, and Betsy for reminding me to slow down + find more depth through the smallest adjustments.
In a city with endless options, it's saying something that I (and many others) keep finding my way back here.“
