The office is hit or miss on answering when your call but does call you back when a voicemail is left. Took off one star because it’s not usually a pleasant voice on the other end. Alyssa was amazing! My former roommate suggested her when I was wanting to bleach my hair and I was worried about destroying it. She did a wonderful job! Located in an unlikely location (a very small business strip mall, on the north side of the Burnsville Parkway, across from US Bank), Prisms is a lovely small salon, open since May or June. Jane has been doing my nails for several years, both artificial and natural nails. Sarah and Alicia are available for all nail services, too. They're a congenial trio who provide a soothing atmosphere for making pretty. That Prisms is located next door to a skin care salon, Elements of You, is A Good Thing.

My husband has ALS and is in a large wheelchair. He can no longer move his arms or hands. He likes to get his nails done professionally and get nail art on his pinky nails. We were turned down by another local nail salon, however when I called A Nails, they said to come and they'd find a way to get his nails done! They were waiting for us and opened the doors for us! They maneuvered around his chair and found ways to get his full manicure done and his nail art on his pinkies! It was such a huge blessing to us as we were preparing for my daughter's wedding the following weekend. I also got a gel manicure and pedicure and they have both lasted for over 3 weeks now. I'm very impressed by them!!! We were visiting from Kentucky, so I don't know when we'll be back, but I've been referring my MN friends to A Nails!
After what feels like forever searching, I finally found the a stylist who truly understands hair textures and how to bring a vision to life! I went in for a haircut yesterday and Shannon was amazing! I first met Anna a few years ago when she was working out of a hair salon. I had a brow wax and loved her energy so much I followed her to another salon and finally to her own place which is LeZo's. She's an expert at what she does, and to anyone that's had a wax of any kind, that really matters. I love Anna so much I went to her for my first facial and now have had several facials because I realize the benefits, now. I'd highly recommend her and frankly, I'd follow her pretty much anywhere.

Chris the scheduler was terrific as was Jeff the technician. Our water heater started leaking onto the floor (disappointing as we just bought the house) and they got someone out the next day. They had to make some adaptations to get up to code and all that was explained. Jeff was the tech worked so hard to get it done and installed water heater on one of the hottest days of the summer. I would recommend Dave you want a well done floor for a very, very reasonable price. I had 600 sq ft of hardwood floor to fix, sand and protect. Dave has the skill and experience to prescribe exactly what would look best for your home. He is an expert on flooring and trim. I was very satisfied with Dave's work. However, you should also be aware of the way that Dave conducts his business.
When I was looking for flooring quotes, I found Dave on Yelp and Google. The reviews are mostly positive for a good reason. He does an excellent job with various styles of flooring, and he is more than happy to share his before/after photos with you as a client. He has photos and countless stories of every situation he's encountered, as well as how he has fixed it in the past. He is experienced enough to complete your flooring situation. I had major surface stains and damage to my floor that he treated perfectly without breaking the bank.
That being said, expect to spend time listening to past flooring stories and the way you should do your other projects. At first I thought it was him trying to sell me on how good he is as a handyman, but I genuinely think it’s because he cares so much about his work. He is a generous, hard working individual, and is motivated to do well if you treat him well. He will make your situation right and will not cheat you. However, you have to be willing to give him some leeway in other ways (i.e. using your utilities without asking, or using rooms in your property for equipment storage).
I had pretty bad stains from the last owners of the property, and I told Dave he didn’t need to make it look perfect, only good enough. Dave said he could get the worst out. He did just that. The before and after photos should show you how much nicer it looks now. There also were some nail holes that he expertly covered. Dave said he could have done more for the stains and nails, but it wasn’t necessary to me. It was truly professional of him to do the quarter round trim around the entire floor, prime it, and take off/put doors back on hinges. He ran out of time priming all of the quarter round in my case, but I had agreed upon that compromise. This brings me to my last point.
My last point is about timelines. Dave works on his own timeline that hopefully accommodates yours. In September of 2024 it was him and one other worker. I would STRONGLY recommend you get a solid, written contract on timelines. Otherwise, be flexible on how long your flooring can take. To his credit, I had called last minute to get something on the books. However, the initial estimate of a week slowly tripled into three weeks after Dave got more work elsewhere.
Dave is a professional and I will use his services again when I get another property. He did me right and made my floors in my ranch style house look fantastic. I have a great floor now thanks to Dave and I will be happy to see it for years to come.

Christian Brothers concert replaced the apron portion of our garage about 2 months ago. Unfortunately a crack appeard in it. **Custom Window Project Done with Care**
Coming from a family of craftsmen, artists, and inventors, along with working in repair and restoration for years, I’ve always had ideas for our home that we were able to create ourselves. The hard part lately has been finding someone who could take those ideas on now that we can’t do the bigger projects ourselves anymore.
We wanted to replace a standard bay window with a large custom box window and window seat, which turned out to be more complicated than most window companies were capable of. One company sent us to AOS Construction, and I’m glad they did. Jay is a craftsman, not just a contractor. He designed it, built it, kept it within budget, and made suggestions on the size and placement that ended up making the whole thing better than what I originally had in mind.
Our past experiences with tradespeople honestly left us pretty hesitant after dealing with unfinished floors and countertops that were measured wrong. Jay has been patient, easy to communicate with, and quick to address any concerns we had along the way. He paid attention to the details, worked fast, and the finished window completely changed the feel of our house.
We used Avid Builders for a major home makeover project and would highly recommend their work. The project included an addition and a front elevation upgrade. Their attention to detail and focus on quality workmanship is obvious throughout the process. They hold themselves to a high standard and expect the same from their subcontractors. Communication about all the various stages was solid throughout. Lamont, Terry, Ryan, and Patty were all great to work with and we will be using them for future projects. We have received many compliments about the changes to our home and people even commented about how hard Avid worked on all the details.

I’ve been using The Grounds Crew for lawn mowing and have been impressed so far. Their pricing has been fair, scheduling has been easy through their online portal, and their office communication has been excellent.
What stood out most recently was how Jay handled a service concern. I brought up a few specific issues and he responded professionally, took responsibility, updated the notes on my account, and made sure the crew had clear instructions going forward. That kind of follow-through matters a lot to me.
The mowing itself has looked good, they show up reliably, and the team has been professional. I appreciate a company that is responsive, fair, and willing to correct things when needed.

I’ve had an excellent experience with Dr. Danny at Northern Life Wellness in Burnsville. When I first started care, I was dealing with limited mobility, frequent headaches, and ongoing low back pain that was affecting my daily life. Dr. Danny took the time to listen to my concerns, thoroughly evaluate what was going on, and create a treatment plan that addressed the root causes rather than just the symptoms.
Over the course of my care, I’ve noticed a significant improvement in my mobility and overall movement. Activities that used to feel stiff or uncomfortable have become much easier, and I feel more flexible and capable throughout the day. One of the biggest changes has been the reduction in my headaches. They occur far less frequently now, and when they do, they are much less intense than before.
My low back pain has also improved tremendously. The consistent care and adjustments have helped relieve the discomfort I was experiencing and allowed me to get back to everyday activities with much less pain and restriction. Highly recommended Health Resources. Very knowledgeable in many topic. I initially came to treat my severe reaction to HSV-1 that put me in the hospital. At the time of my hospitalization, I was already dealing with a new allergy to eggs and stiffness in my knee that wasn’t getting better. After completing my treatment, all my inflammation is gone in my knee, I can eat eggs again, and I feel at ease knowing I shouldn’t ever have to deal with HSV-1 again. Thank you Health Resources!

Dr. Sailer has been my chiropractor for over 5 years. Her treatment style is effective both for immediate pain but also for a healthier long-term lifestyle. She takes the time to understand what my back needs and she provides treatment that works. I like that she explains what she's doing and she offers guidance on things I can do at home to stay healthy. Plus Dr. Sailer and her team are the nicest people you'll ever meet. I had very bad lower back pain which I was seeing a physical therapist for a month for and I stopped going after I went to this Chiropractor and he got rid of the majority of my lower back pain and now I can walk and sit and stand without pain. Crossroads was recommended to us by a friend after a horrible experience at Prior Lake Vet. Crossroads Dr's are fabulous. We had a senior dog whose ear was gushing blood (a cyst had burst) We made 2 trips to Prior (our normal vet at the time) on the same day, because the bleeding wouldn't stop. When it started up a 3rd time, we called and they told us to go somewhere else. Long story short, we ended up at Crossroads and they were so wonderful! The Dr worked through her lunch hour on our girl. She ended up needing to be put to sleep, but the Dr was caring and showed so much empathy. She sat in the room with my husband for an hour talking and listening while he shared memories with her about our Pepper. They didn't hurry him out the door. They let him have all the time he needed. Everyone was so sweet and kind. The way a vet should be. We have found our new vet! Thank you so much, everyone!
Kristen and Dr. Anderson were so wonderful and caring with my 12 year old bearded dragon. He had been such a healthy lizard, that he had never been to a vet. Unfortunately, nothing could be done for Rocky, but they were so knowledgeable about the breed and assured me that I was doing the right thing in not making him suffer in any way. They were so kind through the process and let me take all the time I needed with him. I am thinking about rescuing a bearded dragon and I would not take them to any other vet. Monique

I have been going to Valley View for years, both for my personal pets and the foster animals at the rodent rescue I run. They see my cats, birds, reptiles, amphibians, and rodents. All told I probably bring over a hundred animals per year to them for everything from well checks, sick visits, surgery, emergencies, and euthanasias. They have truly seen it all! The staff has always been thoughtful, courteous, and attentive. I usually see Dr Alisha Anderson who is wonderful but Dr Larry and Dr Rachel are great vets too. I recommend this clinic to all of my adopters and I highly recommend them for you, too!

I’ve been going to the wellness studio to see Janae for years now. She’s always punctual professional and personable. Very well priced! She’s has always treated me like family and more than just a customer and accommodating when necessary. Nobody else will ever do my massage.
I've been coming here for about 6 months. My first massage was with Krystal and I had a $10 off coupon. I joined the monthly membership for $65 or so plus tax and you get 1 monthly massage. The prices have since increased. You also got a chiropractor coupon and 2 guest passes which are $69 massage coupons. Massages are around $85 normally. Poor Krystal had her work cut out for her at my first appt as I was super tense. I've also seen Mary, Trang and someone else who was kinda nosy and did her own massage. I don't schedule with her anymore. There is a sign about tips highly encouraged at 15-20%. I've passed out $20 tips. I no longer get my hair colored and never get my nails done. This is my self care once a month. The massage therapists' schedules are set the first of each month. They don't have online scheduling. Old school call in or schedule at the end or before your appointment. Their waiting room chairs are lacking cushioning. Please replace already.

I spend a lot of time sitting at a computer, which leads to the usual problems—tight hips, tight calves, and chronic tennis elbow. Regular rolfing sessions with Beth help keep everything functioning the way it should.
Rolfing can be intense at times, but it’s the kind of “good pain” that leads to real, lasting improvement. Beth is incredibly skilled and has a deep understanding of how the body fits together.
At one point I was even driving up from Rochester to see her—that’s how valuable her work has been to me. Highly recommend.

I went to Pebble Creek Healing and massage today and had a great first experience. The staff is one lady who rents an office space there. She gave an amazing massage and was very nice. The area was clean and didn't have too much of an herbal scent like the last place I went. She also gave me $5.00 off my first massage and added hot stones for no extra cost. Her neck massage was phenomenal as well. I would definitely recommend her and I plan on giving her my business again.
I had a prenatal massage with Jannesse and it was wonderful! I especially appreciated that we started with a quick consultation. She made sure I was comfortable with a body pillow and on my sides for the majority of the massage. Pressure was great - it was both relaxing and relieving.
