Due to COVID you have to call when you arrive and they will come and let you in. While I'm surprised they're still doing this we did get in pretty quickly. We were able to go in with our dog and a mask was not required. We were expecting our dog would need x-rays and was expecting it was not going to be cheap. The vet examined her and did not feel x-rays were necessary. He explained our options for treatment but never made us feel pressured. He listened to all of our questions and concerns and answered them. We did not feel rushed at any time. The next morning he personally called us with the blood test results. Valley View pet hospital staff are awesome! They really care about your pets and how they are feeling. I had to put down my senior Boston terrier on Monday and the experience was better than I could have expected. They let me take time to say goodbye and let me be there the whole way through. I still have another senior dog who has a lot of medical issues and Dr. Anderson really cares about Gabbi and she treats each issue that comes up with her effectively. I highly recommend Valley View pet hospital.

I had to find another avian vet.....and my pets are my everything so agreeing to do curbside was very difficult decision for me to make, especially to a new vet. I feel I am my animals voice and not being able to see the interaction was extremely difficult for me to do. After speaking with Dr Douglas Gates I felt 300% satisfied that he knew how to handle my 2 amazons, was very familiar with there behaviors and I believe he enjoyed Woody's entertainment as much as I do. I can hardly wait until this covid-19 has lifted so that I can actually meet him in person because I will be returning to see him again.
