I've been seeing Selena for hair coloring services for years and the experience has only gotten better since she and Elyse opened Luce. It's a cute salon is clean and thoughtfully styled. The ladies are so welcoming and always do exceptional work, whether it's coloring or extensions. They offer high quality products and work with you to understand and help you achieve your hair goals - mine being blonde coloring, long length, and more volume, for example. I highly recommend the salon, Selena, and Elyse!

Jamie helped the bride and her bridesmaids style our hair for a wedding! She was incredibly sweet and attentive during my appointment. She is such a talented hairstylist! I shared my concerns about my thin hair and widow's peak, and she addressed each one with care. I never thought it was possible to make my thin hair look so full but she made it possible! I also loved how she styled my bangs to perfectly complement my face. The curls and volume held up beautifully from morning till night. I couldn’t be happier with the results! Absolutely 10/10 work!

Followed Israel from Carrillo Street Barbers. He gives a great, clean haircut and is always nice to chat with. Scheduling is easy to do online. Mobile payment is also a nice feature. Location in La Arcada Plaza is beautiful. Parking garage right next door is a plus!
Been going here for a while now, music and vibes are great. My old barber left but Daniel took me in on short notice and I've been a regular since. His attention to detail is really good and always adheres to requests and delivers. The owner always greets everyone that comes in and it is a very inviting atmosphere.
Couldn't have had a better experience for my son's first haircut! We walked in on a Saturday morning and did not expect him to have time, but Cisco was very welcoming, and was able to take our 2 year old son within the hour of us walking up. He was friendly, sociable, and made us all feel welcome. My husband has come here in the past, and his grandfather went to the original Danny, so it was wonderful having our son's first haircut here. Cisco is a wonderful new owner of the place, and we look forward to having him do many haircuts to come!

I came in on a Saturday, 5/31/25, I called before to make an appointment as I saw that it’s a small place and well liked by locals, for a gel pedicure. I was attended to right away and my first impression of the salon was that it was super clean and organized which is a big thing for me. The removal of gel on my toes was gentle- it felt like an old school pedicure with no harsh drills removing the gel or cuticles. The lady who did my nails was gentle and took her time with the entire process. Truly a relaxing experience/pedicure which I have not had with other salons in the area AND my toes look and feel fabulous.
Visiting the area and I read reviews in hopes of finding a good nail salon. Minhly's was great. I made an appointment
for the mid afternoon which I would recommend, so there would be no wait. Minh was friendly, considerate and an experienced professional and provided nails that were just the way I like it. Great experience at this longstanding, fanily run place and I appreciated the fair price for the quality of work. I will return when I get the chance to visit Goleta again.

Have not had much luck in Santa Barbara with dip manicures until I found Glow. Sang was wonderful, she got me an appt the next morning and took great care of me. She carefully filed down around the edges near the cuticle which so many places seem to skip over. She also did a double layer of topcoat which always makes them last longer. Thankful she did the dip topcoat and not the gel one that always ends up peeling off. Richie also gives a great pedicure! I’ll definitely be back next time I am in town.

My favorite nail salon in Santa Barbara. It’s consistently clean, efficient, relaxing and my nails always look great. Especially my cuticles. The polish is always applied really well and lasts. So glad I found papillon!
We were looking for a nail salon open on Sunday to get my daughter acrylics for a birthday treat. This was the only salon that had openings a day in advance, so we scheduled for both of us. I got a basic manicure just to celebrate with my daughter.
My daughter and I were each attended by super nice, super skilled nail professionals from this family business. They did not rush and were meticulous in their craft. The young man who did my daughter's acrylics took every care to make sure she got exactly what she wanted. He was so sweet and so thoughtful in his work. My manicure was done by a woman who may have been the owner (?). She was delightful and gave me a perfect manicure.
When I saw the bill, I was shocked at how LOW it was. I don't think there's a more budget-friendly place to get acrylics in Santa Barbara. The downtown salon is spacious and beautiful inside, with a pretty architectural design elements and a gorgeous Santa Barbara ocean-and-sky mural. The rent must be expensive, so I expected prices would be higher. I feel we got an incredible value in every way.
Finally, I'll just say don't typically get manicures because I do too much with my hands for them to last, but miraculously, this manicure is a week old and looks like I just got it today.
We will definitely return to Nu Image Nails. Highly, highly recommend!

First of all, Emma provides a genuinely wonderful facial. The brand she uses is top-notch, and her touch is both therapeutic and soothing. What I appreciated most was Emma's genuine dedication to my skin and the results of the facial, even though she knew from the start that I was only visiting Santa Barbara and unlikely to return. Emma's passion for helping people find the best skincare routines and solutions was evident. She offered educated advice and detailed information about the product line she uses, but only after I asked for more information. This meant she wasn't trying to push products on me. At the end of the session, she sincerely invited me to follow up with her if I had any questions about the facial, the products, or anything about Santa Barbara since I was just visiting. I had an absolutely fantastic facial with Emma. The service was wonderful, the experience professional, and meeting Emma was great all around.

My ophthalmologist recommended permanent eye makeup to reduce the inflammation of my eyes caused by eyeliner. Even though I used a “pure” product that was supposed to have minimal flaking my eyes were constantly itchy and inflamed. I was very concerned about the process and selected Melodie Girarde, an aesthetician who came highly recommended by a medical aesthetician who works for a well-known Sansum plastic surgeon.
I was extremely pleased, both with the result and also with her careful process and her focus on avoiding infection and any later problems.
Nancy at Mudita was very professional and knowledgeable. She listened to my concerns, answered questions and spent time with me to discuss services that would be benefitical within my budget.
I have received facials from Denise since 2015, before she opened her private business and provided her amazing services in a salon. I followed her business in 2017 when she opened her studio, as she is by far the best esthetician I have been to. This week, I am turning 23 and extremely happy with my skin. I used to struggle with cystic acne during my teenage and young adulthood years. Denise taught me how to prevent acne scars, calm my face, and protect myself from severe breakouts. Now, after using Accutane (I chose this treatment as cystic acne began to prevent good sleep), I only get hormonal breakouts a maximum of once a month, and I have suffered VERY minimal scarring! She is extremely well-educated in skincare and the science behind the skin microbiome and what it needs to glow! I 100% recommend Denise!!

I found Caren about a year and a half ago after getting fed up with still having adult acne in my mid-twenties. I had literally picked up my prescription for accutane, which I swore was going to be my absolute last resort after struggling with cystic acne for 10+ years, but decided to try her as my final attempt to clear my skin before trying accutane. After about 4 months of working with her and religiously sticking to the routine she put together, my skin cleared up. This is going to sound like a fake ad, but I have had ZERO cystic break outs once that 4 months passed and we got my skin under control. Something that I thought was impossible without internal medication given my acne was hormonal. I can genuinely say that Caren changed my life, and I feel so grateful for her help in getting my confidence back! This review is long overdue. I went to Glamour Laser Skin Center for a laser treatment 7 months ago & went in again for my 1st botox treatment about 2 months ago... My job requires me to travel once every couple of months and I was due for a laser treatment when I found myself in Santa Barbara. A couple of phone calls to find this wonderful place & a consultation later- they fit me in. I got my arms, underarms and upper lip done. Oh were they in need. The staff was so friendly & it was such a great atmosphere I wished I could make it my regular spot..... So I thanked them, dded then to my instagram page & said I'd visit the next time I was in town. Back in L.A I kept seeing them post on I.G and followed them.... Then I saw THE post. The post showing pictures of their new nurse with A list celebrities she had treated. Being as I was set to go to S.B for work the next month guess what I did? yes ! Called & booked my FIRST ! Yes FIRST Botox treatment. Here I am 2 months later & I still cant get over the difference it has made. Not only do I look AmazinG , my self confidence is thru the Roof! Thank You GLSC.... The experience I had with Geneva was unlike any personal service I have ever received in the best possible way. It was facial combined with some cranial sacral work and a neck and shoulder massage. It was one of the most relaxing and restorative experiences that I have ever had. Up until yesterday I thought I didn't enjoy facials. My skin looks incredible today AND the facial felt delicious. Who knew that those two things could go together? I have had a lot of different kinds of energy work but the cranial sacral work that she did was unlike anything I've ever experienced. It was deep and transformative. I have very sensitive skin and everything she used was healing and soothing to my skin. She is able to tune into her clients in a very personal and specific way that allows her to give you exactly what you need. She charges a fraction of what I've paid for facials that didn't even come close to being as good as this.

I received a gift card for Treat & made an appointment for a facial. Jamie was the technician & she was fabulous. Everything used smelled great, and she did some lymphatic drainage that felt wonderful. The spa itself is beautiful and rooms are private and quiet for your service. Absolutely no complaints about service, atmosphere, or value. However, the prices were on a card that came with the gift card; on their website; and under glass at the front desk but I was charged more than advertised. When I asked why, I was told the prices had increased. I was surprised and paid the new price and recalculated the tip based on the new price. I believe if your prices change, your website, anything with prices printed on it, and anything posted on the premises should all be updated immediately when the new prices go into effect. Also, when checking in, it should be mentioned that the prices have increased. I did not think the person at the front desk was professional about the price change at all and looking back I should have politely insisted on paying the advertised price.
I got a couples massage booked here with Roxanne and Kyoko and all I have to say is that afterwards I felt so refreshed and relaxed. The vibe was very calming and the massages were done by true professionals. 10/10 experience would definitely come back here when visiting Santa Barbara

She takes her time in tattoo placement to make sure it’s just right for you and how you like it. Her detailed after care treatment is helpful for a beginner like myself. I traveled from Las Vegas for my first tattoo because I was certain it would be worth it. I’ve done 2 sessions so far with one more to go for my forearm sleeve. This will be a piece I will cherish for the rest of my days.

My very large free standing bath tub would not empty completely. Several plumbers tried and couldn't find the problem. But, Nick found a defect in the original installation. Power Electric was the electrician for the solar installation on our house. They also installed our "critical needs" box and panel and the wiring was clean and well labeled. We have an old house and while replacing outlets I got some strange readings and decided it best to get someone who knows what they are doing. Power sent out Ben and he did a great job sorting through fifty year old wiring and making it work correctly. While here he also fixed an issue we had with our furnace and AC. He was professional and cleaned up after completing the work.

Called and was offered appointment that same day - I had to delay it 'til next day. They explained it was $125 to come out and diagnose, but if we did the repair, that $125 would be removed. Gave estimate based on what I told them. Came in time frame given the next day, took dryer apart, pulled drum, replaced bearings, etc. buttoned it up and it was good. Father and son, both pleasant, efficient, neat. Paid as estimated. All good. Would absolutely call them again for a problem.
Called The Appliance Store to check on our Kitchenaid compactor, which had decided to stop properly functioning. Patty set the appointment quickly and a service professional came out the very next day to do the initial exam. After ordering the required part, they are due back this morning to complete the repair.I will update the outcome as they finalize their service but to date, I am very pleased with The Appliance Store.
I stopped into Gold Coast Locksmith to see if they could program my 2004 Toyota Sienna key fob replacement, because the old one died, and to make a door lock key. I did not have a door lock key so Ava had to use the VIN from the vehicle. She got all the necessary information from me and within a short period of time she had programmed the key fob and cut two new door lock keys for me. To top it all off the cost was under $100. The cost for Toyota to do it is more in the $350 range. Ava is my HERO! And, the shop was the cleanest most orderly lock shop I have ever been in. Wow!
I needed a lock repaired, and when I contacted ESP, I got a call back within 2 minutes. Kyle came out to do the repair in about 15 minutes! He fixed the lock and another lock that wasn't functioning properly. He was done in about 20 minutes. Everything works great! I think it was a reasonable price.

Dago Orozco was recommended to us by the previous owner of our house, who he installed the floors for. He just refinished all the floors and the staircase in our house, and did a great job. He helped us figure out what we wanted it to look like and he knew how to achieve it, stopping and sampling the next coat to make sure we liked it. They finished ahead of schedule and were on budget, and the floors are beautiful. The workers were very good and nice. They moved all the furniture and replaced it just as we wanted. Hi Ray,
I know this is a bit out of the blue, but I wanted to contact you and say thank you for the job you did.
To be honest I didn't know how great it was until recently when I hired a roofing company to put a roof on my son's house. They left the roof uncovered and it rained. The entire living room, kitchen, and dinning room ceiling was ruined. The drywall was 90 percent intact so not a lot to fix in that regard.
Trouble started when the roofing company hired a contractor who obviously did not know how to properly do ceilings began the work. No floor coverings, so mud and paint on the floor, no masking so paint on the fireplace brick, no room sealings, so dust everywhere. Trowel marks, divots and just a terrible job. Made them redo it but not a lot better.
All the while I used pictures from the job your crew did to indicate what the expectations were. We never really got from them what we wanted but did get them to knock 2000.00 off the roofing costs.
I now realize how great your crew was. All portals were sealed, while still maintaining access to our kitchen. The work area was cleaned up every day and was as clean as anyone could expect considering the work being done. And the end result was perfect. I would be hard pressed to find any flaws anywhere.

We had ranch hands build us a deck to wrap our hot tub, and would highly recommend their services. Great communication throughout the entire process, their workers always showed up when they said they would and cleaned up after themselves every single day, and they clearly took pride in their work. They were not trying to just get it done as fast as possible and then leave, they wanted to make sure we were very happy with the end result and also made sure we were involved in all necessary decision making. I worked with Silver Leaf Landscapes to make a very steep hillside usable for gardening, and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. I wanted space for food gardening but didn’t have room for planter boxes, and Lindsey came up with a creative solution that completely transformed the area.
He designed a deck at the top of the slope that feels beautifully integrated with the landscape, along with large pots for planting that make the space functional and easy to maintain. These guys have been amazing to work with. During the planning stages they came up with ideas that I had never even thought of. They were excellent with communication during the entire process which was helpful since we had pets that we didn't want to escape. They also did little extras like hauling off boxes that we had left over from our move and hanging up our water hose hook that had been laying on the ground. We plan to use them again for future projects as do so more than just turf!

We bought our condo in April with the back patio having bark/mulch on the majority of it and a small patch of gravel cement. We never used it and thought about making some updates ourselves but really had no tools or the expertise. We made the decision to go with Clearview Landscaping for the updates and it was definitely the right choice!
Chris and his team coordinated everything saving us the hassle and a lot of time. The design team came out and discussed our vision then gave us a design that showed our space’s potential but also could be scaled to stay on budget. They coordinated a tree removal, added drainage to ensure the project’s integrity, and installed everything in a way to make a future fence replacement easy. His team showed up and worked diligently for 2 weeks to demolish, prep, and install pavers and turf. There were a lot of logistics that weren’t easy but his team figured it out. There is a high level of effort required for this work and the Clearview team followed through. I witnessed their attention to detail, precision, and the care they took to produce quality work. I am grateful every day that we went with professionals.

Very positive experience! Nick came out the same day I called for the estimate. Compared to the other estimates I received the pricing was fair. He was also able to dispatch a crew the next day, who completed the project very quickly (about 3 hours for something that seemed rather tricky) and cleaned up nicely afterwards.

Plenty of parking, and I was immediately greeted by 2 of the friendly front desk staff. Adeera quickly brought me in the back and addressed all my questions and concerns throughly. She was very knowledgable and very kind. Katheryn was the hygienist who worked on me. Very efficient and precise skills. She was became a hygienist to help educate people on oral health. She taught me a few new things while having a great conversation. Dr. Loul is awesome. When consulting me on my cosmetic procedures he laid all options on the table for me to decide. We’ve had the privilege of being patients of Dr. Santacrose since he started at Children’s Medical. From newborn checks in the hospital, circumcisions, yearly check ins, telemed calls, ear infections and everything in between you can not find anyone better.
We recently had a scary unknown when our 2 year at the time broke out in a bruise like rash. Dr. Santacrose exhausted every option and asked for multiple other opinions to confirm what he already knew. Luckily, with his help she’s doing well and living a healthy life! He called to check in with us multiple times, during his already hectic day! We’re so grateful for Dr. Santacrose!!
I have been bringing my both my sons to Dr Brewers office since my older son was a little baby. So 6 years total now and they have received top notch care every visit. Dr Brewer is a great pediatrician and the office staff is so friendly and helpful. I even referred my cousin who is a nurse at Cottage to bring her baby to Dr Brewers office, and when she surveyed her coworkers they unanimously said he is an exceptional doctor. It is really easy to get an appointment, usually when I call they have an opening within the week. That is a big plus especially when you have a pressing medical issue. So all in all I highly recommend Dr Brewer to anyone seeking a Pediatrician in SB/Goleta.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Adams for a few sessions now - she is very knowledgeable, and will point out what she’s doing on spine models and pictures she has in the room, and talk you through what’s happening (which I love). Her mix between chiro adjustments, heated scrapers, body work and fancy chiropractic tools that I don’t have a name for get the job done. She’s been able to establish much greater movement in my neck in a very short period of time!
The staff is very friendly and makes you feel welcome the minute you step in the office. Justine is very kind and sweet. She is very understanding,knowledgeable and cares about her patients. From my girlfriend: I've been in pain, neck pain since Feb 2021. Now I figured that I can bypass seeing a doctor and a chiro for awhile, but the pain kept getting worse. It was tough rotating my neck left and right. My boyfriend and I decided to take a trip to Santa Barbara and I wanted to find a chiro that can adjust me same day. Now most would want a consult and I didn't want that or come back another day simply because I'm on vacation. Well my bf messaged the chiro and was able to get me in right away. He adjusted my low back and neck and immediately the pain went away. Now I've been to other chiro's before but Dr. Grandle just made everything better. Once I got in the car, I just started crying because of how much relief I was in. I told him where the pain was and he knew what to do. I would Deff come back.
Dr Linda Whitman is gentle, intuitive, and very effective in her chiropractic treatments. She spends time really listening, and is very empathetic. I feel fortunate to be her patient.
Jason is an master healer. There is no other chiropractic work like his. The difference being that he doesn't just fix the symptom, so that you can come back in again and again for the same adjustment. He teaches your body how to let go of the pattern. I recommend jason highly!
Dr. Valerie Girard saved me from an over year long chronic TMJ jaw alignment issue. My bite was off and I was miserable when it came time to chewing my food. Clicks and all! Dr Girard had me fix my problem by the second visit! I’m forever in debt to her fixing me. Dentist and Orthodontist WAKE UP and think/refer outside the box! They were absolutely wonderful and made a horrible agonizing decision easier to make. A few days later, his 'aquamains' were ready for me to pick up. (That means they do the cremation in water instead of fire.) They were nicely boxed, and put inside an elegant drawstring bag, and included a certificate of aquamation for my cat and a wooden pendant with his pawprint. I would highly recommend this vet clinic. It's small and homey, not big and impersonal.

Peggy has taken care of all of our pets. She is wonderful. She is great with the animals and knows what they need. My cat lived to 22 years so that is saying a lot about Peggy. I trust her and this is a great place to feel connected to your vet, this is not a conglomerate, you work with Peggy and that makes a huge difference in the continuity of care. Sarah our dog loves going to see her which hasn’t happened at any other vet. Vinchenza our cat got the best care including end of life care. We've brought our Bernedoodle, Moose, to Barbie's several times and they always do an outstanding job. Every time, Moose comes back looking like a show dog--clean, perfectly groomed, and happy! All the staff at Barbie's are thorough, careful, and gentle with Moose, ensuring he's comfortable during the entire grooming process. They're also super friendly and always take the time to discuss the exact cut we'd Iike for Moose. We couldn't ask for a better groomer! Highly recommend if you want your pup to look and feel their best.

I LOVE the candlelight restorative yoga experience at Sol Seek Yoga studio in Santa Barbara. The ambiance is soothing and the instructors are professional and supportive.
Matt is a fantastic healer. My shoulder hurt so much lying down that I could no longer read in bed. One acupuncture treatment from him was all it took and I can now read in bed. I now go in occasionally for a tune up or for various aches and pains. Matt's acupuncture treatment is more effective and soothing than a massage. I enjoy my time with him because he is professional, experienced, and caring. I cannot recommend him highly enough.
Rich is the best yoga teacher in town. I've been practicing yoga since 1981; had classes with many teachers, as well as attended many workshops. I've taken basic and advanced teacher training at White Lotus. He's the best teacher of all.

I joined Club Pilates in La Canada and I am really enjoying it. The classes are very good and all of the instructors are skilled. There is an art to signing up though. You have to sign up on the wait list at times, and then watch to see a space opens up for you. I have never had to miss a class because I remained on the wait list. There is a policy that people have to cancel 12 hours in advance, so usually I am notified the day before that I am off of the wait list and scheduled for the class.

This was a happy accident going there. I was going to a Thai massage place further up the street, but thought they had moved out. I had passed this place, but went back since I couldn't find the other one. It turned out to be the best choice ever!!! It was a bit cheaper than the other one, but the service and my massage was excellent! We were in town for the week, anniversary gift to ourselves, but I had this pain in my upper back that was ruining our vacation. Malai is the owner, but Pim gave me my massage. She didn't know much English, but she really knows the body! I pointed out where I hurt, right shoulder and neck area. She worked extra hard on those areas, but really all over. I felt almost normal afterwards. I got 60 minutes, but wish I had done 90. Well, next time. We live in the OC, so maybe not, but I am definitely looking for Thai massage when I get back home! I had some pretty horrific hip pain. I came to Romi after seeing two neurologists, two neurosurgeons, two orthopedists, two surgeons, two doctors of physical therapy, an osteopath, a bunch of tests (including X-rays, MRIs, bone scan). Nothing helped. I was unable to stand, let alone walk, without crutches. I got better after working with Romi.

Dr. Horie is single-handedly the reason why my menstrual cycles went back to normal. I was suffering major side effects post hormonal birth control and she helped me tremendously. I went to see my doctor for a three month bout of dizziness, which we determined was due to severe muscle tension in my neck and shoulders, causing cervicogenic vertigo. He highly recommended acupuncture, and Caroline to me specifically, as he has been receiving her care for years. So right away, though I had not been to an acupuncturist for 20 years, and then only once, I trusted his referral, and booked a session with her. Thankfully I did. For 3 months, I was in a spinning world I couldn't trust and it was terrifying. I tried everything - massage, at home treatments, heat, medication, nothing worked. ONE session with Caroline and my muscles released so much that I was barely dizzy at all that day nor the next, and I am ecstatic to say that my healing keeps improving. I will continue my care with her, and can confidently say that her years of expertise, calm, professional demeanor and the lovely energy in her space all adds up to the highest quality practitioner. She's a rare find!
I have been seeing Vishal for shoulder pain and back tension. He's excellent at identifying pain spots in the body that are not within my immediate awareness. And while he does address symptoms, he's ensures that he treats all of you: spiritually, emotionally, mentally, and physically. Ultimately, I feel loads better!

In addition to stellar acupuncture treatment, he is excellent with customizing individual treatments based on your body’s needs, and integrates deep massage, scraping, cupping, etc. to get you where you need to be. I am an avid cyclist and I have been seeing him for an ongoing Achilles tendinitis issue and after a few sessions I’m already seeing great improvement. Best treatment I’ve received in the SB area, by far. Excited for more sessions coming up.
