Matson & Co. Hair Salon is absolutely 5 stars. Jeff gives the best scissor haircut in all of Santa Barbara County. His attention to detail, consistency, and talent are unmatched. On top of that, everyone at the salon is warm, welcoming, and just genuinely lovely people. It’s always a great experience, and I highly recommend Matson & Co. to anyone looking for an exceptional haircut and a great group of humans.
Jeff has been my stylist for almost 20 years. I have short, difficult hair which he cuts and colors every six weeks. The color always looks natural and the cut is very precise. Jeff will take whatever time is necessary to get it right. The resulting hair style can be a little edgy (by design) but always looks professional when necessary. I found this salon by accident after moving to Santa Barbara, and I cannot say enough good things. Jeff is an ARTIST! He always gets my hair just right. Plus, he's the coolest guy ever. Highly recommend!
