My husband has dark, curly hair and goes to Kelsey. She also does a great job! Not going to lie, he had some horrendous cuts elsewhere before we found her. She keeps it long on top and knows how to cut curly hair.
All in all, this place is a freakin' gem in Benicia! They also use Davines products (IYKYK).

After moving recently to Benicia, I was looking for a new stylist in this area and was pleasantly surprised to find Milinda Perry Salon. As a former day spa owner and hairstylist, I always appreciate exemplary customer service and Milinda Perry does not disappoint. Her attention to detail and creativity is stellar! Her studio is so beautifully designed and I love the products she has recommended for me. It's also a treat to go shopping in the boutique that has clothing and jewelry that I love at great prices.

Project manager Abel was knowledgeable and detailed in his damage assessments after a water pipe in the attic leaked thru the upstairs thru to downstairs dining room. He and his team documented everything thoroughly and did a fantastic job during the remediation phase of our water leak. They took extra steps to keep my house clean and protected. Everyone on the RMC team was prompt, respectful, diligent and hard working. I hope to never need there services again, but there's no doubt who U would call again if needed!

I’ve been a client of Jan’s since I was 14! I am now 37… you do that math ;) She’s been on every hairstyle journey with me and had supported me every step of the way— from perms to pixies… to bright blonde to color to choppy bobs… (I think we created a book at one point!). Robin is great and is the only person that cuts my hair. I get compliments and then my friends like my hair so much, they ask for her info. Her salon has a chill vibe too. Some days it’s quiet and peaceful, then others it’s all about the local tea and just the social pick me up I needed. ?

Been going to Dave for years! He ALWAYS does a great cut, and he handles my needs with aplomb. His online appointment system works well, easy to use and reduces wait time to nothing or just a few minutes, dependent on the previous customer's needs! The shop is very clean and comfortable. Parking is plentiful in the morning (on-street parking) and even later in the day, you can find parking within a block! It's on First street so there are food and beverage establishments, nearby, so you can get something to eat or drink, before or after your appointment! I could go to another barbershop, and pay less, been there, done that, but I prefer a quality cut that looks good from day one and I'm willing to pay for it....and add a nice tip, too! Everything is expensive, today, but I know I'm getting a quality cut at Dave's and have been for years!

The staff are professional and friendly. Prices are reasonable, the seats are comfortable and customers leave satisfied.
I was in the area dog sitting and in dire need of a manicure. Nancy was able to fit me into the schedule as a walk-in and paid close attention to my requests for builder base gel (she also used hot gel aka poly gel for my thumbs since they are extremely bumpy and easier to shape nicely with that) and the rounded square shape I prefer. I was very pleased with the results at a good price as well!

I’ve been going here for several years now, pretty much since it opened I believe. I get dip nail polish on my real long nails, and a pedicure every month. Nice staff, never had a problem. Even bring my elderly father for a pedicure every other month. He has dementia and repeats the same stories and everyone is still so kind to him!
My go-to place whenever I need a pedicure or manicure. It's clean, bright and the ladies who work there are professional. Great place, I highly recommend it!

I moved to Solano County almost 5 years ago, and since then it has been just a struggle to find someone who just does nails but actually cares about what kind of service they are providing to you. Or I would find a nail tech that would be great for my feet but not my hands, or vice versa. So today I once again I got on Google and went on a search again.
Thankfully I came across wonderful reviews that pointed me to Lynn for a great pedicure. I went ahead and booked it. I will say I will never look for another place. The best treatment in the chair with Lynn. Eventually I will update my review with pictures to embarrassed to post now as my 2 big toes had runners toe and Lynn said she could bring them back to life. So the before and after will come. I must also say Kelli was amazing with my gel X fill. The time she took to make them look so lovely along with the detail. I can not wait to see what else she is capable of doing. I am so happy with the price, quality and work that they both gave me. Can't recommend them enough. The place is so clean, chairs are very comfortable and the room is dimm for you to rest. You guys. Fernanda. Is. The. Best. I can't sing her praises enough. She is so skilled at her craft, pleasant to talk to or just quietly relax as she massages your hair during the wash. She does not hold back any secrets in what helps different hair issues; great educator. I learn a new tip or five every time I go. She is reasonably priced, especially considering the amount of time, skill, and attention she puts into your hair. And on top of how delightful, relatable, and down-to-earth she is, the salon ambiance is unique from any other I've experienced because there's never any salacious gossip. They are so friendly, warm, and professional in the way they talk about people. They treat each customer like a friend, even after they leave when many others stylists take the opportunity to gossip badly about them. That is rare. They are a gem in the rough! And Fernanda is a hair magician. Trust her!

While the hair cuts don't entirely turn out how you had imagined and Sue doesn't know the latest trends, you will never get a haircut that is so awful that you go home and cry. Sue is very considerate in trying to accommodate you and asks you along the way if that is how you want it. She will never make a huge, unfixable cut without making sure that is what you want. Sue will tell you if she thinks the cut you want will work, although sometimes she is off in her thinking that you have a cowlick for example, when you actually purposely parted your hair that way and other times she is more right than you are. You won't be completely disappointed with your cut and it is much safer than going somewhere else because she will not make you look silly. Sue is very sweet and I recommend her service, she charges about $16-17 and there aren't hidden fees. She makes a good, clean cut and I believe in supporting privately owned businesses instead of large chains.
This is a small, one-person salon. Carla is there just part time and she is not easy to get ahold of. But let me tell you: this woman knows how to cut hair. I am picky about my hair which is naturally curly, less so as I get older, but regardless, where other stylists fight my curls, she knows how to work with them. I have always walked out of her door looking cuter and more put together than when I walked in. As I said, I am picky, picky, picky about my hair and who cuts it. I love Carla's haircuts. Experience builds skill and she has oodles of both.

I have been going to Julie at Mandala for 6 years. I look forward to each appt I have. I get the facial that includes the hydro-jelly mask. The most recent was a combination of Egyptian roses and goji berries. So very lush. Julie creates a relaxing environment with calming music and smells that you can't wait to book the next appointment. I always leave with a bright healthy glow. You can't help but feel good. I just left two hours ago and am already looking forward to my next appointment.

Called Robert & with just a picture could give you an accurate quote because he does the work & decades of experience shows. Robert is not only technically knowledgeable, great service in accommodating schedule. We got out water heater replaced on a Sunday afternoon. I called and spoke to Catherine who was so pleasant and helpful. She worked around my schedule to set up an appointment. Jordan arrived on time and was very professional, knowledgeable and didn’t mind my DIYer questions. Jordan is an overall awesome young man, replaced the faulty factory parts and hung out for a while just to make sure everything was operating correctly. I've been a patient for many years and have had a variety of work done. Everyone is kind and professional and more importantly, highly skilled. I would highly recommend this practice.
Dr. Salek and the staff here are all amazing. After my own issues with a crown, I was initially scheduled a week later to get it fixed. Dr. Salek instead called me the next day to come in, staying an hour past closing to finish my crown. The front desk staff and assistants are all great as well.
I have been coming to Benicia Wellness Center for a few years now. Dr. McConnell and staff are absolutely amazing. I've also used Benicia Wellness for massage therapy and every massage therapist had been wonderful. I got a chance to have one of the new massage therapists last week. Fermin did a fantastic job. He already had an idea of what has been my trouble spots over the years with the pervious massage therapist I was seeing there (Linda). Fermin was incredible nice, friendly, and very knowledgeable. I can't wait to see him again in another month.

I've noticed such a positive shift in the atmosphere at the clinic! Thank you for continuing to better the practice for the wellbeing of our pets. I went from dreading having to bring in my cats because they left traumatized and I felt like nothing really happened, to now looking forward to the comprehensive care and love my cats will receive- such a notable step up in the level of care. Even for my spicy orange one, they just make it work and don't make me or her feel like a problem.
I brought in my mellow baby boy this past month for an urgent same day visit, and was met with the kindest front desk staff who helped work me in & the most knowledgeable/gentle tech. I watched my cat receive the most thorough exam followed by the best explanations and steps for a work up. I even got a call with the xray results same day- the Dr didn't have to do that, they said 24-48 hrs. I have even called back for advice and follow up, and gotten to speak with the Dr's on staff that day, without feeling like a burden.
I rarely do reviews but wanted to give a shout out because the positive shift is remarkable, the warmth you feel when you walk in is now palpable, and the security I feel calling them my vet is peace you need as a pet owner.

So so so nice! I came as a walk-in to get my dog’s nails done and they were so helpful. My dog is 15 and very nervous of nail trims and they were so gentle and patient with him. I will continue to use this groomer for my little guy!
I've been getting my miniature Himalayan cat groomed here for over 5 years. 2-3 times per year, usually a lion cut, sometimes a nail trim as well. They so a phenomenal job! Nothing scented (per my request), easy and quick communication when booking appointments, quick turn around as well!
I had my Australian Sheppard groomed here the first few years and well. He's very temprimental and anxious, but they always did an amazing job with him as well!

Julie worked on my shoulder area which had been a mess for a few weeks and I feel so much relief! I get the magnetic therapy first and then the massage which really does the trick. She has also donated to the animal shelter I work with. She is a very generous and kind-hearted hearted person. I'm very grateful to have met her! She is the real deal.
I went to Susie's therapeutic massage. She did another exceptional job I got a 90-minute massage and cupping massage. I have chronic neck and shoulder pain. The massage has it always is it's good and helps a lot to loosen me up. The cupping massage seem to help my neck a lot. I did feel some difference in my shoulder as well. I think with future sessions it may help my shoulder to where it won't hurt as much anymore. I strongly suggest that you will try Susie to help any tension or pains you have. She's very professional and ask questions to address the problem areas that you are having to relieve your stress and pain. In my opinion she is very caring in wants to help.
