“A few years after my husband died, I finally hit a wall when I saw a puddle of water by the front door and realized the roof was leaking all the way through into the house. “Super impressed with Mark's professionalism, knowledge, and integrity. Our roof sprung a leak this winter after one of the many rainstorms. I thought we would need a new roof. Mark was responsive right away. He stopped by and did a thorough inspection on our flat roof that took over an hour. He told me a new roof was not necessary and we should get many more years out of it. He pointed to 2-3 areas that could use some attention. He explained what to do if I wanted to do it myself, or offered to come back and take care of it. I was so impressed that Mark would spend over an hour with me free of charge. “Our 18 year old Monier Lifetile Cedarlite roof had many broken tiles due to its inherent fragility and foot traffic from painters and solar equipment installers. Most roofers that we contacted refused to work on it because of its fragility. We eventually found 3 roofers who made bids (one without even going up on the roof!). We chose California Custom Contractors (CCC) because the owner, Greg Meo did a thorough inspection which he documented with photographs. His proposal, again carefully documented with photographs of the proposed repairs, was not the cheapest of the 3 but its thoroughness and Greg's obvious experience with Cedarlite tile roofs (again, more photos of past jobs) made the choice clear. We learned that CCC does not install new roofs but only does repairs.CCC cleaned moss and other debris from the roof, replaced and painted all pipe flashings, replaced all broken tiles and installed metal flashing to replace the original cracked lead flashing. All of the work done was documented with photographs. Our roof now looks fantastic and we are confident that there will be no leaks. Greg and his team of 3 very experienced workers were a pleasure to work with and get my highest recommendation. If your roof needs careful conscientious repair, call California Custom Contractors; despite their generic name, they only repair roofs.“

“This review has been a long time coming but, that said, this is probably the best testament to a job well done. We hired Cosmic Renovation to redo our Spanish style tile roof approximately 2 years ago. They are very good at explaining the process and the details without making it all feel like a big upsell (other companies did make us feel like that). Their price is fair, not the most expensive but not the cheapest but they deliver well on what they promise. The value comes from the quality of service and workmanship. Now that the new roof has been up for a couple years I can safely say it's doing the job perfectly. Definitely recommend Cosmic for your roofing needs, they are good at what they do from start to finish. Our project manager Blake was also very communicative and helpful in guiding us through the process and keeping us updated, no idea if he is still with the company but a shout out to him for being great.“

“The service was gutter cleaning and leaf guard installation. When Jason stopped by, my gutters were literally growing weeds. The city tree on my property has caused high maintenance of the gutters. Decided to have leaf guards installed which will hopefully lessen the task of cleaning. All staff were very professional and personable. Communication was great. THANK YOU to Mark who showed me the Leaf Blaster guard which I think will work better than the easy lock screen that I initially selected. They were pricier but Quality First quickly processed a change order and installed my preferred guards at no additional cost. Thank you!“
