“After moving recently to Benicia, I was looking for a new stylist in this area and was pleasantly surprised to find Milinda Perry Salon. As a former day spa owner and hairstylist, I always appreciate exemplary customer service and Milinda Perry does not disappoint. Her attention to detail and creativity is stellar! Her studio is so beautifully designed and I love the products she has recommended for me. It's also a treat to go shopping in the boutique that has clothing and jewelry that I love at great prices.

“I have been going to Julie at Mandala for 6 years. I look forward to each appt I have. I get the facial that includes the hydro-jelly mask. The most recent was a combination of Egyptian roses and goji berries. So very lush. Julie creates a relaxing environment with calming music and smells that you can't wait to book the next appointment. I always leave with a bright healthy glow. You can't help but feel good. I just left two hours ago and am already looking forward to my next appointment.
The services that Julie offers also make a great gift! I did this for my sister and friend and they L❤️VED it!

“You guys. Fernanda. Is. The. Best. I can't sing her praises enough. She is so skilled at her craft, pleasant to talk to or just quietly relax as she massages your hair during the wash. She does not hold back any secrets in what helps different hair issues; great educator. I learn a new tip or five every time I go. She is reasonably priced, especially considering the amount of time, skill, and attention she puts into your hair. And on top of how delightful, relatable, and down-to-earth she is, the salon ambiance is unique from any other I've experienced because there's never any salacious gossip. They are so friendly, warm, and professional in the way they talk about people. They treat each customer like a friend, even after they leave when many others stylists take the opportunity to gossip badly about them. That is rare. They are a gem in the rough! “This is a small, one-person salon. Carla is there just part time and she is not easy to get ahold of. But let me tell you: this woman knows how to cut hair. I am picky about my hair which is naturally curly, less so as I get older, but regardless, where other stylists fight my curls, she knows how to work with them. I have always walked out of her door looking cuter and more put together than when I walked in. As I said, I am picky, picky, picky about my hair and who cuts it. I love Carla's haircuts. Experience builds skill and she has oodles of both.“

“While the hair cuts don't entirely turn out how you had imagined and Sue doesn't know the latest trends, you will never get a haircut that is so awful that you go home and cry. Sue is very considerate in trying to accommodate you and asks you along the way if that is how you want it. She will never make a huge, unfixable cut without making sure that is what you want. Sue will tell you if she thinks the cut you want will work, although sometimes she is off in her thinking that you have a cowlick for example, when you actually purposely parted your hair that way and other times she is more right than you are. You won't be completely disappointed with your cut and it is much safer than going somewhere else because she will not make you look silly. Sue is very sweet and I recommend her service, she charges about $16-17 and there aren't hidden fees. She makes a good, clean cut and I believe in supporting privately owned businesses instead of large chains.“
