“Moe replaced our hot water heater on November 4, 2021 in Vancouver BC and did an excellent job. He was very helpful in selecting a good tank and was meticulous in the installation. He did not rush the installation but was focused on doing a good job. He was very punctual, courteous and respectful. His pricing was very competitive and he stuck to his quoted price. I would recommend him and will call him next time I need mechanical work.“
“I contacted Cambie Plumbing & Heating about a minor gas leak in my natural gas stovetop range in our new-ish condo.The office admin was kind and helpful, and provided a convenient and prompt time slot for a gas fitter to come by. The fitter was on-time, professional, COVID-conscious, and worked quickly and efficiently. He also patiently answered my questions and detailed what to expect in the invoice before he left. They replaced a faulty regulator at lower-than-market cost, and the labour costs were in-line with what they detailed on their website. The office admin even remembered my name and other personal details from a recent trip I had mentioned.Will definitely be calling Cambie Plumbing + Heating for any additional plumbing issues or gas leaks, provided our home hasn't exploded.“

“After many months of hot weather in Vancouver, the rains have returned! Last time we had our fireplace on was in early April and it's now September 17. Tried to turn on the fireplace but it seemed that there was no gas flowing?! Cue an email to Jane, who immediately calls to try and troubleshoot. Alas her work-arounds didn't work so she routed one of the service lads to us. Once here, he pleasantly went to work and in little time (not even 45 minutes) had it up and running! So many many thanks for such fast, friendly, professional service. All toasty warm in front of the fire! James“

“We recently had the fill valves of our Toto toilets replaced by Charn. He was personable, diligent, and efficient, and completed the job within the estimated time. After he left we discovered an unexpected leak from one of the toilet tanks. Charn came back another day and successfully resolved the problem. He even phoned a few hours later (after work) to make sure everything was alright. Thanks for being so conscientious, Charn! We are very pleased with Charn's service and the helpful service desk staff who gave a detailed quote and scheduled all the service appointments.“

“A few months ago, my kitchen sink began clogging up and draining slowly. The usual fixes didn't do the trick. Last week, I reached out to Strata, who in turn reached out to A-1. I was called the very next day to schedule a time for the following day. A-1 even managed to accommodate for my last minute appontment time change. When the day came, two gentlemen swung by and fixed the issue-- turned out to be a minor blockage in the common pipes. They were communicative about their ETA, considerate and conscientious, and walked me through each step of their plumbing process. They triple checked everything after clearing out the blockage and even gave me tips to maintain the sink moving forward. Later that evening, while washing dishes, I realized, "Wow, I haven't heard the sound of water draining while washing dishes in months." Thank you, Marty! Your expertise and professionalism are much appreciated.“
