Brought my 12 year old in for something she wasn’t entirely sure of but in the realm of a wolf cut. She’s pretty shy at first & was nervous about the pretty big change but Jen was wonderful at making her feel comfortable right away and communicating the process. While they did their thing, I got to enjoy the cozy atmosphere and give puppy dog eyes to Jen’s great dane, Dude (the epitome of cozy on his fluffy bed all snuggled under a fuzzy blanket). After the shampoo, cut, style, and style advice- Jen had my kiddo feeling on top of the world. As we left the shop she asked if they could be her regular barber from now on ❤️

I stopped by today just to say hello and see how much it would cost for a haircut. I didn't have any cash on me, but Fantastic Cuts is just a few blocks away, so I could walk there sometime when I did have cash. There was a very nice lady there, I am so bad at names I can not remember hers, but she refused to let me leave without giving me a haircut, even though I could not pay today. She was very friendly and gave me a great haircut. I really appreciate it and plan on using this place in the future. I will tell my friends about it as well. Was not expecting something so nice today and it was a stressful day in town shopping so it was VERY appreciated. Any time someone does a nice thing for others it makes me happy, doubly so if it's for me (hehe). I hope others read this and decide to use their services. I plan on making it up to them in the future one way or another, but she doesn't know that and just made me feel better about the human race as a whole. I went for the first time to Milo’s Barbershop yesterday. I have seen most barbers and haircut places for men’s haircuts in the Olympia area and all have butchered my hair cut or could not figure out how to properly cut my hair. I saw Cooper and I was blown away. I was very impressed by the fade and overall haircut. Nothing to complain about. All the barbers were friendly and welcoming and it was a positive and pleasant experience. Will be going back for future haircuts. 11/10 recommend!

I had a long over due hair cut at Susan's. She did an amazing job. I wanted a cut that would be easy to care for after injuring my hand. I was more than satisfied with the great job she did. Her salon is clean and pleasant and Susan is very friendly as well as talented. Reasonable rates for quality service. I highly recommend her.

I have severe arthritis and Kelly was very gentle! Two months out from foot surgery and she was careful. I did not have one painful moment. You need to make an appt, but it’s worth it. Kelly is now my nail person. Shed’s also very kind.

My nail tech spent good time perfecting the shape and how sharp they were while making sure I was comfortable and regularly checking if I liked the look. got the volcano spa this evening. hadn't had a pedicure in awhile and this was by far the best pedicure I've ever had! I felt like my feet turned to butter in the hands of the skilled staff here. I had just injured my ankle and the foot soak, hot rock massage and orange ? salt scrub was heavenly. I will definitely recommend this nail salon to everyone!

I booked a nail and brow appt. the morning of an event, so I came in as a bundle of nerves. However, I left feeling completely at ease with how wonderfully the appointment had gone! I gave her a slight idea on where to start for my nails, but told her to do whatever she wanted, and I couldn’t be happier with how they turned out! They got complimented within ten minutes of leaving! I was offered some refreshments at the beginning, and so I got to enjoy a cup of hot tea for my early morning nails. She takes her time to perfect her craft, and does not charge by the hour. You’re not rushed in and out, to get in as many clients as possible, in comparison to many other salons I’ve been to. You will not feel like a transaction, you will feel like a guest :) she puts her time and care into what she does, and I will 1000% be returning!

Spruce was the first place I noticed when I moved to Olympia 4 years ago. I’ve been getting my brow tints there ever since. The staff are just lovely and the esthetician are knowledgeable and very helpful. My facial during the Glow event was so relaxing. I ❤️ that they carry the Color Science products but I think my most favorite thing is the Spuce Oil. It is my go to moisturizer.

First time Brazilian with Arisha and she was wonderful. I am plus sized (size 20) and I have a skin condition (HS). Melissa and Arisha looked stuff up about it and created a custom after care plan for me. The salon was very clean. I felt super comfortable and never felt ashamed which is funny given the funny positions you're in. All in all I would recommend them time after time!
Lani is so accommodating, and professional. She is completely knowledgeable and passionate about what she does. You go away learning about your skin and feeling amazing. I found Jill Lynn during my wig journey. I was looking on youtube for wig reviews and found her videos. I truly love how she goes indepth on her wig videos and shares her experience and knowledge on how to wear them and how to style and take care of them. I also enjoy her makeup videos and tips. I have tried other lash and beauty places. Nobody compares to Khane and her team. With lash extensions, she carefully creates the perfect lash design for your eye type. She really is an artist. She is very patient and attentive. I have went to other beauticians and nobody has more attention to detail than Khane. I also get my brows tinted with her. I have seen her and her students work with microblading and lashes and it always looks phenomenal. I wouldn't trust another artist with anything to do with my eyes. She has always been super friendly and willing to answer any questions I have. I would definitely recommend her to anyone. She is super driven and I'm super excited to see the future for her and her business. She is very dependable, and has always gave the proper amount of notice if she needed to cancel. The one time she did cancel she did because she was sick, which was the responsible thing to do, and she always fit me in soon after. Khane is by far the best artist in Thurston County!
I went in for a complimentary birthday brow wax. Alicia was my tech and she was so friendly! She explained what she was going to do before doing it. She made sure the wax wasn't too hot. She also said after waxing that she needed to tweeze because I had super fine hairs that the wax wasn't able to get. Once the tweezing was done, she asked if I wanted her to fill in my brows with a pencil. I said yes and Alicia did an amazing job! I want to do my brows how she did them everyday-so inspiring!

Here at old leaf I’ve had two of the most amazing 90 minute massages with Kati. She is extremely intuitive and knows exactly what my body needed. I also experienced a float for the first time and I have to say I was skeptical at first, but I am so glad that I did it. This is a wonderful little spot. My sister and I have been seeing Heather for YEARS, before she opened her own day spa. It is so cutely decorated and peaceful in here, and Heather is SO sweet. She really takes care of her clients. She's been in the field a long time so her appointments are quick and efficient, but thorough.
There was a mix up with my appointment so I could not see my regular stylist. However, the front desk staff was very apologetic and helpful and got me in with another stylist who did a great job. Their system is wonky so if you are driving a distance like me, double check the appointment before heading out. Don’t trust the text message, call them to confirm.

She even asked Mike to squeeze me in that afternoon, which he did. That was a snowy winter day 6 years ago and today I can say that my hair has never looked better, thanks to Mike!!
Mike did fix my color and butchered cut that day and I left happy knowing that the perfect salon and colorist does exist.

I can't recommend Vanessa enough. I have been tattooed by her 6 times and she's done an excellent job every time and is overall just nice to be around. She can turn your weird sketch into a piece of art, something that exceeds your expectations. One time I started feeling nauseous during an appointment and she was nothing but caring and prioritized my wellbeing. My 65 year old mom who has no tattoos even says 'your tattoo artist does such nice work, she is so talented' when I show her my new tattoos from Vanessa.
Booking with Olympia Tattoo co is very easy, they are very communicative and will send text reminders for appointments. The studio is clean, easy to find, has plenty of street parking, has a good bathroom. Everyone that works there seems nice and professional and it has a welcoming atmosphere.

I've used this company twice to repair a broken toilet and replace a different toilet. I called them back a few months later to make a minor adjustment (wasn't their fault) and that was handled with ease. They were one of the cheapest options when I solicited bids from other companies. I also appreciated the care taken by the plumber to keep his work area clean. I didn't feel any pressure to upgrade or pay for services I didn't want. In short, I'd recommend them without reservation.

We had leak in our main waterline in our front yard. Jones Underground was quick and efficient and a pleasure to work with. And were very reasonably priced, about a third of what the big local plumbing company quoted us for this repair. They have the right equipment for underground work and were able to bore under our concrete driveway in order to avoid digging it up. They also use all of the top of the line fittings. I highly recommend Jones Underground for all of your underground utility needs.
Corbin was here doing an annual maintenance check and hot water tank flush. He was very personable and passed my watch cats inspection. Not pushy about having repairs done which is appreciated.

We had an emergent situation (our water main inside valve was no longer able to seal off water throughout our house. Your crew came in the late evening with short notice. They were personable and professional. They replaced the main valve and installed a new master shower valve cartridge. They were efficient and cleaned up their work areas. I had a great experience with Plumb Line laying an underground natural gas line. The two employees that did the work were very friendly and shared helpful and informative advice to me regarding other projects. They even repaired my water main line that I personally damaged while digging the trench for the gas line. I only received one other quote for this job and it was from a company that was highly recommended to me from three separate individuals, however Plumb Line was about 20% cheaper. I’m glad I went with Plumb Line, they did good work and I saved some money.

this is the 2x we’ve used michael. the first time was for my 30+ yo persian carpet. it was on the return visit that i realized how soiled it was. wow! michael returned smelling fresh, clean, and BRAND NEW looking. i found someone to trust with my persian carpet.

Of late, it is becoming difficult to reach someone or get calls, texts, or emails back for scheduling, quotes, and billing.

MIKE from Insight Pest Control (Olympia) has been really helpful to protect my new home from rodents. He did a crawlspace inspection, laid out bait boxes on the property, and said "If you SEE something, SAY something". When my contractor found an old nest in the home and I found an old nest in the garage I called and Mike was there the next day to address the issues and also spray for spiders (I hate them!!!) so when I move in that is not an issue. We have had several occurrences of trees whose conditions were questionable, and we have called Shawn each time for his assessment and guidance. His concern for matters of our safety, his attention to detail, and his ultimate execution of the work is superior! He definitely knows what he's talking about and knows how to do it!
One extra special reason for our delight of his services is his compassion. We had a huge maple tree that was a central focus of our property, but it had developed a dangerous level of rot that had the potential of turning catastrophic if it remained. Shawn confirmed the extent of the rot, but then told us that even though he loved that tree and wished he could offer any solution to keep it, our safety was his first priority! We stood there for a long time pondering the beauty of that tree just prior to taking it down. Sad, but comforting to know that we don't have to worry about it anymore.

Growing up, I very rarely went to the dentist and have only just started getting regular cleanings. I started coming to Olympia Advanced Dentistry earlier this year, and it has been outstanding! Dr. Moss went over the different options I had to address some lifelong concerns I've had with my teeth, and the progress has been great. I also have had a few cleanings with Tina and it's been wonderful! Of course, there was a lot to work on the first time, but yesterday I went in for a routine cleaning and for the first time in my life it was completely painless! I can't believe I didn't start flossing daily sooner.
Billing is also transparent, and the prices seem to be fair. Luckily my insurance covers most of the expenses, but seeing the price breakdown I'd happily pay those prices out of pocket for how good the service is. Can't recommend this practice highly enough.

I came in to Sloan Family Chiropractic after experiencing pain from a car crash. I use to have great suspicion and a sense of pause with chiropractic practice, but no longer with Dr. Dave. I originally went to another Chiropractor, but felt I was not getting the proper care. After a break and coming to Sloan Family Chiropractic, I received attention to my specific pains. I worked with Dr. Dave who explained his process and the possible causes of my pains in great detail, but in such a way that I could make sense of it. After our work at Sloan Family Chiropractic, my insurance had me get an Independent Medical Examination where another chiropractor claimed that from their perspective, I had been getting great treatment from a great chiropractor and that’s why I had been feeling better. As a former skeptic of the chiropractic practice and a current skeptic of other chiropractors, I would give Sloan Family Chiropractic 6 stars if I could and would love to go back for the company alone.

I mainly sit and am on the computer all day for my job, and have an 18 mos old baby. Although I stretch throughout the day, my back often feels tight and sore.
I was looking for an office close to my home and Vince’s office just so happens to be around the corner from me.
My work hours are later most days, and Vince has a schedule that worked well for me so I decided to come see him. He’s available Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays, 3 pm - 6 pm.
I came in for my first visit and consultation, and after one adjustment and I knew I was definitely coming back!
He was very attentive to the areas I let him know bothered me the most, and after the adjustment I was able to take a deep breath and feel relief!
His office is easy to stop in, and hours available I find are good times. His prices are reasonable and I would highly recommend anyone needing chiropractic care, to stop by and meet Vince!
I leave there everytime feeling great, and also look forward to my next visits with him!

Dr. Mike, saved my horse's hoof, leg and life, he had a hoof puncture. We followed his plan and he was right.
I was immediately impressed! I found a wounded kitty on the side of Steamboat Island Road who needed immediate help. It was almost 6pm on a Friday eve. I drove there and the door was locked, but I knocked anyway. Two very friendly techs answered the door. I explained the situation and they could see how upset I was. Even though they didn't have a vet there, they took the kitty in and told me they would make it comfortable until the vet could examine him in the morning. I was so appreciative of their professionalism and compassion!
My experience with this practice is extensive therefore I can say with complete confidence that there is none better in this area. Despite Covid and a severe staff shortage, they have tried very hard to meet the needs of existing clients. At this time, they are not accepting new but hope this will change ASAP so I can many more pets/owners their way. I do heartily thank those who stayed on the job and are working so hard taking care of not just a business but all critters in general which they truly seem to love.
I took my sweet boxer, Lucy, to Dr. Bob and I will never forget how much he and his sweetheart daughter, Vikki, helped her. Gosh, it was about 14 years ago now, but their kindness and love never left me.My Lucy was rescued from a puppy mill, she was a mom who'd been forced to breed far too much. She had a myriad of struggles and Dr. Bob walked me through them all.At one appointment, my POTS acted up, and I accidentally fainted while in the clinic. Vikki picked up my little 3 year old daughter and sang to her while I came to, brought me water and a muffin, and kept her calm. Meanwhile, Dr. Bob kept caring for Lucy.They made sure everyone was safe and taken care of.The awful day that I had to let Lucy go, Doctor Bob stayed with Lucy and I. I was unable to speak, and struggled to do anything other than rub her sweet ears and cry. He understood that and talked with her about the beautiful rainbow bridge it was time for her to cross. How there was a nice little stream with water that was good to drink and how there was lots of grass to play in. She could chase squirrels and the sun was always shining. He essentially walked her home with me. I still hear his voice comforting us, and when my soul aches for her, I remember where my Lucy girl is.He also was my kitty's doctor from the day I brought her home for 10 years. She's been around since before Lucy. She is still spry and healthy and I attribute that to her excellent health care for the first half of her life and the advice Dr. Bob gave me about proper kitty care. She's 17.5 years old.If I still lived in the state, Dr Bob would be the only vet I would ever use.He really truly loves the animals he helps. I'll never be able to thank them enough.
Evergreen has been my veterinarian for almost 5 years now and has been the Vets I have ever had. They are all great,The technicians also. Samantha and Donna at the front are very nice and caring. Dr Rosie is my main Veterinarian. She is an excellent surgeon also. Thank you Dr Rosie for guiding us and giving our Obea more quality of life and helping us in such a loving compassionate on aiding her to gross over the rainbow bridge to run free again. You loved her so much. I experienced this all my life and never easy. You made it peaceful and cried with us. The chocolate kisses made it special. I love you all. My dog Marlee needed to see a veterinarian for a hematoma in his ear flap. I called several vets in the Shelton area and none of them were taking new patients. I think veterinarians should consider revaluating their policy and procedures when new patients are concerned.
Boulevard Animal Clinic is the best. Best Vets, best support staff. In 56 years of pet ownership we have never had Vets that are so caring. Dr. Braun takes the time to talk with us, discuss our concerns and discusses appropriate treatment. After he performed surgery on our dog he took the time to call us and give an update on her condition and the support staff followed up with how she was doing the following day. I can't say enough good things about the clinic.

Absolutely magical experience with Tracy! Every element was very thoughtful and provided total relaxation. This was my first time ever having a professional massage and Tracy made me feel very comfortable. The location is stunning. I loved the contrast of being on the warm cozy table and having the fresh cool air from the open window. The sounds of the birds felt like they were paid actors. It added so much to the experience. It was everything I wanted. At one point I felt like I was suspended in a marshmallow.

Sharon is such a sweet and wonderful person, very easy to talk to and she knows the body so well. The intra-oral massage is intense but it is so worth it! She made me feel so relaxed and i felt lighter as i walked out. As the others have said her pressure is good and consistent.
Scott knows what's up. If you're heavily training and working out Scott will help you out. I consider myself someone who needs a high pressure massage and nobody has ever been able to give me enough pressure, except for Scott. The space is also pretty great as it's inside of a gym. Super thankful to have stumbled across him and looking forward to going back.
