I came in kind of last minute looking to do some fun nails for a concert. I don’t get my nails done often, but Ann did such a fantastic job explaining to me how to accomplish what was going on in my inspiration image and what would be best for me since I’m trying to protect my natural nails. My manicure with shellac and silver designs was only $60 before tip, and Ann was so kind and enthusiastic. I’ll definitely be back!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this salon! I've been coming for almost 14 years. Lisa, the owner, has always been so friendly along with the rest of the staff. I went someone else about a year ago, and they totally messed up my ingrowns. This salon knows how to work on ingrown toenails and will not charge u extra for all the time they spend on them. It is like a family atmosphere at Majestic Nails. They also don't try to rip you off. Even when inflation went way up, Lisa still kept the prices low for as long as she could. If you want a GREAT place to go with GREAT prices, this is the salon for you! They don't try to rush u out the door either. They do EXCELLENT work! Just give them a try, you will be hooked!

I have used Space City Plumbing for two major projects (emergencies!) and both times these guys came through for me. The first was the a broken main water line that ran from the source (city valve) to the house, and the second was the water line going into the house itself, which is the most recent issue. Mario did both projects and could not have been more professional, polite, and knowledgeable. He came out the day I called and started work early the next day or day after that (within 24 to 36 hours of first calling) and completed each job efficiently and in a timely manner. He answered all of my questions and explained everything he was doing. They gave me options to choose from in each project. I felt very confident in the work and advice from Mario. I have used other plumbing services and I believe their prices to be fair, or at least in line with other major licensed plumbing services. I highly recommend.
Mike is our go-to plumber. We’ve relied on him many times over the years and have always had a five-star experience. Recently, my elderly parents hired a different plumber for a job, which unfortunately led to thousands of dollars in damage just days later. We called Mike, and he responded immediately, resolving the issue and saving the day.

His price was more reasonable than the “fancy vans guys” and he went to work right away. Justin was very organized and explained everything that needed to be done without resorting to complicated jargon.
I believe Justin to be an honest and experienced plumber. I will not hesitate to call on him or refer him to any of my neighbors or friends.

Our historic home on the historic district in Galveston. We lost all our plumbing under the house and some pipes in the house. The team gave a fair price. Elijah and Ricardo worked in the house three days. They went above and beyond on this plumbing job. The guys stayed late on Friday to get one shower running not leaving until almost 6 p.m. after being here all day. Everything they did was fairly priced. They easily could have taken advantage and they did not everything was fair.
At times during this job, they had 4 to 5 guys working on the house.
They are respectful of our home, before they did any work they shared the price and it was up to us. This is a five star company and so impressed. During a very challenging time, they took care of us.

The Happy Feet Floor's team were great to work with. They installed porcelain tile throughout the entire house. Other businesses insisted on using quarter round trim at baseboards. The team did an outstanding job cutting tile accurately so no quarter round trim needed. The floors are beautiful. From start to finish, Happy Feet Floors excelled. The quote was lower than competitors. I'll use HFF again.

You know how most doctor offices either have a really awesome doctor and not that great of front desk staff, or vice versa? This office is not like that at all! Both doctors, Dr. Nova and Dr. Davis, are very personable and highly qualified AND the staff is amazing. There are a couple of people who man the phone and the front desk and they treat you like a human. I made an appointment yesterday at the end of business day for this morning. This morning I decided to cancel it. They canceled it with no hassle or fuss at all. I’m not sure if that’s normal, but it did make me feel like they were taking our relationship into the account. Doctor info:
Each doctor has their own method for treatment and are completely open to patients trying either one of them. So if you’re one to take loyalty seriously, you don’t have to worry about them being offended about you seeing another doctor.
They are both always happy to see you for a consultation before doing any kind of adjustments to your body. Both of them want you to be comfortable with a personalized plan of care. Just tell them your preferred level of care for that visit.
I primarily saw Dr. Davis, I say saw because he basically did his job so well that I don’t need to see him anymore! On the rare occasion that I have lifted something carelessly or have put my body through the wringer I’ll go see him to get straightened out.
Dr. Davis also provided me with some weight lift training that aided in my recovery from a season of failed health.
Logistics:
Their office is located within South Shore Harbor Fitness Center but you do not have to be a member to go to their appointment. As you walk in, just let the front desk at The Fitness Center know that you’re there to see the chiropractor. You’ll head to the left down the open hallway and it’s on the left through a glass door with a sign above it. You then walk through the office area of a couple of personal trainers and through another glass door directly infringe of you. Now you’re in the chiropractor waiting area and front desk.
This is a kid friendly practice. We’ve brought our daughter to Dr. Davis for adjustment and the toys in the lobby have bought us much-needed time as you can bring them into the room with you.
Evvvvvvvery once in a while, I’d have to wait 10, 15, maybe 20 minutes for an appointment that I made last minute or walked in on but usually I’m seeing right away.
Their front desk area has complementary tea and coffee as well as magazines for reading material. You can buy special pillows there as well for better neck and lower back support.
I’ve also bought a couple of supplements for them. Unlike a nutritionist office, they do not push supplements on you at all. The supplements I bought from them were highly needed for me at the time and provided noticeable benefit.
Each doctor only sees one patient at a time, each doctor has one treatment room. So there’s no stacking of patients and doctors moving in a flurry from one to another.
There is bathroom for use in their office as well.
OK, final comment as that there is also the spa inside The Fitness Center that’s across the weight floor from the chiropractor‘s office. So if you wanted to get a massage first to loosen everything up so the adjustment can go more smoothly and have a better chance of sticking is an on-site option. You also don’t have to be a member of The Fitness Center to use the spa although the rates are pretty high. You can also pay a small fee (equivalent to a babysitter) to have the Fitness Center’ kids’ area watch your kids while you’re at the spa.
Dr. McVey has helped me so much in the almost 5 years since I started going to him! He was instrumental in helping me transition off of extremely high doses of anti-depressants to natural supplements, he recommended stretches and exercises that helped me overcome neuropathy after I was diagnosed with arthritis in my spine (the MRI showed exactly the diagnosis he predicted), and most recently helped with some annoying headaches I was having by working out tightness in my neck. He is ALWAYS my first choice when I'm having any sort of pain/issue. And his wife is just as amazing! So thankful that some friends recommended McVey Chiropractic to me almost 5 years ago!

I was lucky enough to come across Dr. Spies and his wonderful staff through my work, and I have to say, I can’t recommend them highly enough! I’ve been to a few chiropractors before for various back issues, and this was a totally different experience. The kind that makes you truly see what a good quality chiropractor can do for you.
From the very first appointment, it was obvious that he brings a tremendous amount of knowledge and experience to his practice. He took the time to really listen to what was going on with my back, explained everything clearly, and made sure I understood both the cause of the pain and the treatment plan moving forward. You can tell he genuinely cares about helping his patients feel better rather than just rushing through appointments.
What really sets him apart to me is his personality and his people skills. He has an incredible sense of humor that immediately puts you at ease, which makes a huge difference when you’re dealing with pain or discomfort. Every visit felt welcoming and comfortable, and he always remembered details about previous conversations and my progress, which made me feel valued as a patient instead of just another appointment on the schedule.
Most importantly, the results were outstanding. I came in dealing with persistent back issues that were affecting my daily life, mobility, and overall comfort. After working with Dr. Spies, my back has improved dramatically, to the point where the issues have been nearly eliminated. I wanna say, about 75 percent reduction in noticeable pain. I honestly feel better than I have in a long time. His expertise, combined with his personalized approach and genuine care, made a huge impact on my recovery.
Also, I would be remiss if I didn’t give credit to his staff too. Linda at the front is the absolute sweetest person that I look forward to seeing every visit. All of the CAs, Riley and Kerrigan are also fantastic- always friendly, personable, and attentive. I’m missing one more CA (her name isn’t coming to mind at the moment), but she also takes great care of me.
So if you’re looking for a chiropractor who is highly skilled, experienced, personable, and truly effective, and has an excellent team that always provide a positive experience, I would absolutely recommend going to Lordex and being seen by Dr. Spies, without hesitation.
The Clear Lake Dermatology staff and personnel were very professional and very nice. The Dermatologist was quick to provide a diagnosis and a promising solution. She was even willing to help with issues that i wasn't there for originally.
The team is extremely kind and caring. The Kendra is positive, takes her time and answers your questions. I was in and out in no time which is very important to be due to my busy schedule. Thank you!
Dr. Huber is so knowledgeable and really cares about all of the animals. He also has a great staff. I have been bringing my dogs to him for years and I wouldn't take them to anyone else.
Dr. Leestma and staff did a superb job taking care of my dog freckles. They do things the right way and are upfront with everything they do. Couldn’t recommend them enough!

I will say this is the best veterinary clinic ever. The prices are really reasonable and they don’t push you to do anything.
My pets Sally, Mary & Betty behaved perfectly which is not always the case with strangers.
I 100% trust them with my pets and I can count on them to help.
Sally has been there a few times for minor emergencies and they’ve taken great care of her each time.

This spa is so great! The staff is so friendly and my favorite thing is that they share a building with my Chiropractor so it is a double whammy that I get to treat myself here, the memberships are also great and worth the money!
I have been getting massages from Ms.O at Massage Heights League City for several years. Her deep tissue massage prevents and relieves my neck, shoulder, lower back and hip pain. I tried a chiropractor prior to trying Ms.O at Massage Heights and the chiropractor never relieved or prevented my pain issues. You will need to let Ms.O know your issue and also your desired pressure.
This was my first Thai massage and it was an amazing experience! I came in with a lot of pain and stiffness, and afterwards I felt lighter and could move my arms and legs freely. Patty is very sweet, knowledgeable, strong, and could pinpoint exactly where my pain was. She explained clearly how knots cause problems, listened carefully, and was extremely thorough. It did hurt but it is worth it— like she said no pain, no gain!
Heather really listens and focuses on what you need. Excellent intuition and her method is perfect. Perfectly professional and a refreshing step away from so many others. To those who consider going to Heather for care, I offer my greatest recommendation and most sincere congratulations. I will definitely be going back.

I can’t recommend HOPE Physical Therapy enough! I came in with constant ankle and foot pain, and Jimmy was absolutely fantastic to work with. He is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, and he helped me finally get rid of the pain I'd been dealing with. I am so happy with the outcome and would definitely choose them again!
