We live on the edge of Columbia on Cloverton Drive, the 1400 block in a restored brick rancher. RiverView is my ABSOLUTE 'go to' company for anything HVAC and plumbing and I've had work done by them a number of times.... ? Now, get this! On July 4th weekend our 20 year old Lennox central air stopped working, the outside unit, in that 101 degree heat. It was Friday night at 9pm, maybe the absolute worst time for this to happen and get someone in to fix this on a hot holiday weekend. I didn't think twice. I called Dillon and he picked up his cell phone! He said they'd be out first thing in the morning. They sent Tyler out (from the Gettysburg area!) and between 9 and 10 am he had the outside unit tested, torn apart, cleaned, serviced and repaired in 45 minutes with the capacitor and relays he had in his repair van. I had cold air again! I'm betting if I had called one of the big name HVAC repair businesses I'd still be without a cool house and looking at spending thousands on a new system plus weeks to get it installed. Tyler thought this system should be good for a few more years so I can replace it at a better time. It's the next day now and I'm still blown away by this experience. This is 'old school' service work like you'd get back in the 1960's when people were still responsible. Tyler is very hands on and knows what he is doing, plus for 28 years old, he's very mature and responsible. Hell, I'm 74 and I could hang out with this guy over beers. I hope they keep Tyler on the payroll forever, customer service is everything. All their workers I've had here for plumbing, and another issue with the central air fan in the attic unit, have also been great. We are so lucky to have found RiverView Mechanical a few years ago, and it was through a simple word of mouth recommendation....so 'there's your card'. ??. Keep their phone number in your cell phone contact list. Trust me, you'll thank me later.

I have been to Susan twice. Both times I have found her to be pleasant, fast, and skilled. The second time I came in looking for a huge change, and she was happy to help me. Not only did she do a great job, she recommended a product for my use at home that has made a big difference. I waited a few weeks after trying it to see if it worked and she definitely knew what she was doing! This is, in complete honesty, the happiest I have been with my haircut in my life. I am not a picture taker and I was sending friends and family selfies. I'm on a regular maintenance schedule with her now and plan to stay that was as long as she is cutting hair! Thankyou, Susan!!!

I think people look for three main things in a barber: someone who can actually cut hair well, someone you enjoy being around, and a fair price. Shawn has all three covered.
He has serious skills and can handle any style, but he’s also just an easy person to talk to. You’re sitting close to your barber 20+ times a year, so personality matters, and Shawn is one of those people who can talk to anyone about anything and make you feel good walking out.
He also respects your time. He runs on schedule, so you’re not sitting around waiting for your appointment. There’s some free parking around, and there’s also plenty of paid parking right out front. It’s cheap too, around $1/hr, so parking is never a headache.
For anyone new: book the appointment, show up on time, park out front, and enjoy the cut. Whether your top priority is skill, price, or just finding someone you actually like spending time with, Shawn has you covered.

Zonnie is a great barber and me and my Sister’s Husband always book haircut appointments with him. I walked in and was greeted with smiling faces. Was taken back very quickly even though I was a walk in. Although there was a slight language barrier, they worked around it. I used Google Translate to communicate at the end but during the cut the gentleman would point or make an expression he would like me to replicate in order to give the best cut he could. I have not had a cut and trim as dedicated to excellence. Clean lines. I look like an entirely different person. Highly suggest anyone in the York area to go here.

Very courteous staff the entire establishment is clean. The tanning beds are older but the bulbs seem well maintained with that being said I tan easily so I have no complaints and the packages are reasonably priced. I really like the convivence of the location easy to get in and out without many traffic issues.

I appreciate the ease of making an appointment, appointment confirmation, client care, and attention to detail given at each appointment. The Heights Nails & Spa has gained a long term customer in me for sure!
She’s the best, and I love my nails every single time! Not only does she do great nails, that last for more than a month and have good retention, she’s also a phenomenal artist and does small detail on each finger if wanted.
Diana is the best! She always makes sure my nails look wonderful and they last me at least 4 weeks! She’s talented and will make sure your nails are exactly what you want each time! For reference, I get builder gel and have gone anywhere from 4-6 weeks. They never lift and if they ever break due to my own fault she’s quick to get me in for a fix!

I recently visited A&K Nails on Eastern Boulevard in York, PA, and Kenny did an absolutely fantastic job. I came in with a painful hangnail that I couldn’t deal with myself, and he was incredibly meticulous while taking care of it. He made sure to check in with my pain tolerance the entire time and adjusted the service so I was comfortable, which I really appreciated.
It had been a while since I had gotten my nails done, so this pedicure was something I was really looking forward to as a little self-care moment—and Kenny definitely delivered. I love the color, and the overall experience was relaxing and professional.

I arrived before the shop opened, I thought they opened at 930 but the opened at 10am . One of the workers pulled up beside me and waved, I waved back. He said I’ll open shop for you and you can come inside and wait, the ladies will arrive soon. He offered me coffee and got the water ready for my pedicure. He said I could get my feet ready and to check the water, water temp was really good. I sat with my feel in the spa, sipped my coffee and a few minutes later, a young lady came in, said good morning and asked how could she help me. I told her what service I wanted, she did her thing with excellence, I was very relaxed. I want to thank Thuan and the entire team for their hospitality and wonderful service. I love my gel toes, I switched to white this time.

I am new at this salon, today was my second visit and I wasnt sure if I wanted to stay. Mainly bcuz I was so accustomed to my former stylist who has retired, and had always done a great job with my hair. I am very particular about my hair and not always willing to take my walls down and accept change. After today's visit with Erica I am beyond happy with my hair. Before Mackenzi my 2 year old son hated getting haircuts. We were taking him the whole way to Cookie Cutters and while it was better, you could still tell he was very nervous. Mackenzi was so patient and calm with my son. I was shocked when he said he wanted to go back. He has had his hair cut with her 3 times now, and the last time, he wanted to sit by himself and was even okay with the clippers! Today we stopped at the pizza shop beside the salon, and he wanted to stop in and see Mackenzi. Before we could even walked in, she came out to say hi.

Omg I absolutely love these girls Michelle did my waxes, eyebrows and my massage I've never been waxed before so it was very nerve-wracking but she made me feel super comfortable I've seen her for three sessions and each time it was like meeting up with my best friend or a sister I finally have my eyebrows back too because you know I'm the one of those girls who suffered from the trending Christina Aguilera pinstripe eyebrows but let me tell you three sessions and they look amazing and definitely wedding picture ready she gave me my first actual massage since the one in the hospital after i had my son and I've never felt more relaxed I feel like I can actually move my neck and shoulders now and let me tell you I gave miss Haidi a huge task at doing my nails I showed her so many inspo pictures and said I want them all lol but make them weapons and girl did just that I'm so in love with them I can't wait until I am able to go back the 45 to 50 minute drive from where I live to LMLA is soooooo worth it I'm never going anywhere else again

Tink did an amazing job on my tattoo. She took the time to get the design exactly right, made sure I was comfortable throughout the whole session, and the linework/shading came out clean. I would like to give a shout out to Lars! My daughter and I came in yesterday for her to get her belly button pierced. (And I decided to get my nose done as well) My daughter had a fainting episode (which can be normal after something like this) and Lars was so kind and patient with us! He never thought twice about helping me to hold her up and get her anything she needed. I will never go anywhere else for another piercing! This kind of empathy and patience is truly needed in this business. As far as the piercing goes, neither my daughter or I felt much pain or discomfort during the procedure. He is very smooth and quick with it. 10/10 recommend!!!!!
Scott and Danny did an amazing job today with all of my plumbing needs. They were punctual, professional and very personable. Would highly recommend Theodore for any plumbing service. We had just moved into a new house in York and had only been there about a week when a late-night sewer backup turned into a real plumbing emergency. Theodore was excellent from start to finish. He let me walk through the issue with him, and together we looked at several possible causes for the drain and sewer problem. He explained everything in simple terms, shared a lot of useful plumbing knowledge, and helped me better understand how the system works. He stayed for hours, carefully checking the lines, talking through the repair process, and making sure nothing was rushed even though it was very late. I really appreciated how patient, professional, and thorough he was. The whole experience felt honest and helpful, and the service was top quality. Definitely a 7-star experience, and we would gladly use this plumber again for any future drain, sewer, or plumbing needs.

Met with Faith last Wednesday and was super excited with her help and what I chose for my bathroom. I was told 2 days for an estimate and now it is a week, and I called on Monday for an update, but no response. Extremely disappointing with this experience, from a business that has been established for 30 years.
I am updating my review, because Faith called me promptly this morning and we were able to discover where the miscommunication was and she made sure I immediately received, my estimate.

Ed is detail oriented and does the job right the first time. His pricing is fair. He changed out my furnace and air conditioning units, and did some duct repairs, all in the middle of summer which is one of the busiest times for HVAC work. While he is very detail oriented, his work was done quickly, and he cleaned up any mess he made. I highly recommend Ed and Rehm HVAC.
I’ve used R.S. Bortner several times, and Brent is always extremely responsive when service is needed. Most recently, my furnace blower motor failed overnight during a cold snap. Had oliver come out to install a new ceiling fan and check the wiring and wall switch. he arrived very prompt, worked efficiently, and finished the job in a short time without any issues. Chad came to our home to put lighting into our dining room ceiling. I'm not sure how he was able to do it, but he did it! We are in a condo building with concrete floors and steel beams and studs. He was working with about 3/4 of an inch of space. It was a miracle! Before this the dining area had no overhead lighting at all. He was fantastic. Brian and his team did a great job refinishing our steps recently. He came over to meet with us after our initial inquiry, provided a reasonable estimate for the job, and promptly added us to his schedule. His team consisted of Jose and Alex. They did a good job sealing off the space to contain the amount of dust from sanding, cleaned up well after each day, and worked closely with us to match the stain to our existing hardwood floors. Jose was also excellent at communicating the timeline around the drying process for both stain and the multiple finish poly coats. I've had great experiences with Matt creating a custom treatment plan for my fruit trees for fungal and insect issues. I tried unsuccessfully to treat them for 3 years and they're doing so much better this one! I also had then come out and remove dead ivy and hazardous limbs from a large fir tree, they were friendly and respectful of my and my neighbors' yards. I'll absolutely be using them in the future!

This dental office is incredible. I came from another office with dental anxiety from multiple bad experiences. It’s embarrassing and even harder to overcome when the dental staff doesn’t believe you are in pain. That doesn’t happen here. My cleanings are now 15-20 minutes with Ken and super gentle. No pain whatsoever. I also had a wonderful experience with Megan as my dental assistant for 2 procedures with the dentist. Her calm and friendly demeanor immediately calmed my anxiety. She is really amazing and didn’t make me feel bad for being nervous. I actually got through the last visit with no nitrous or numbing. It was a game changer. I've been with her practice off and on for 9+ years. She is very thorough meeting your needs and listens to what specific areas need addressed. The staff are always caring to what specific needs you may have. The massage therapist are amazing and always do a superb job.
After losing a ton of weight from having the gastric sleeve procedure done in February, I began experiencing back pain and difficulty sitting up straight. The weight was constantly pulling me forward. And my body is stuck like that. I jumped onto Google and researched and read reviews and I landed on seeing Dr. Paul. Hearing about the office dog, Trixie, certainly sweeten the pot. She was in the door waiting when I arrived and she automatically makes you feel better. The doctor explained everything to me from the very first phone call. On my first visit, he continued to explain the process and make me more able to understand what my body is going through from the drastic change. Other providers who do not specialize in bariatrics seem to write me off with my concerns. Dr. Paul did not do that. He listens, and he uses the information he obtained from you to help you improve your quality of life. So if you are just looking around on Google, you came to the right practitioner!

Dr Sloat, his vet nurses/techs, and office staff are great. They really do care about their dog patients and the dog's human family.
Their prices are very reasonable as well.
If you need an appointment, they can almost always see you within a few days or a week or so if you're flexible. And there have even been times where I've had a semi-emergency with my dog or a needed a short notice follow-up appointment, and they've seen me the same day or the next day.
They also do an excellent job of refilling medications. Anytime you call them, and get their voicemail, they will call you back promptly.
They've never dropped the ball. They have been 100% compassionate and reliable for the past 20 years of me and my family have been taking our dogs here.

It was an informative visit, unfortunately they quoted too high for a full mouth extraction for over 5k with the aftercare. Found a local vet who can do it for a quarter of the price. Appreciate the diagnosis of Stomatitis .Vet was very knowledgeable. One lady at the front desk was very friendly and the other seemed a bit annoyed at my questions about results and medication. Thank you at the end of the day because I know what to do next to help my kitty!

The owner went above and beyond today when I showed up for a walk in. They were closed early for the day, but the owner still took my dog back and took the time to clip her nails. I’ll recommend this place to anyone that asks for a groomer!

I stopped by when traveling for work and I'm so glad I did! I took a Warm Vinyasa with Elyssa and it was amazing! She's an amazing teacher that gives lots of modifications and encouragement, and helped with ensuring that everyone was using proper form and gave really helpful tips and personalized advice. I really enjoyed the class!
2nd Class: Jenna was a great teacher with such a warm and welcoming personality! She gave a lot of different modifications and options to make it more or less intense to personalize the experience! You can tell that there is such a strong sense of community at this studio and I really enjoy stopping by whenever I'm in town!

As a beginner I enjoy the classes, the teachers and the atmosphere. It's so good for me in every way!
I have been going to Wen Jing for the last three months and will continue to see her on a monthly basis. I not only wanted to start doing something nice for myself, but I also recently began working out for the first time in many years, so my body has been in need of a little TLC. I'm also constantly sleeping on my neck wrong; and even tend to struggle with my mental health here and there. Wen Jing's techniques and abilities have really helped to improve not only the way my body feels on a daily basis, but my mind functioning as well. Visiting her home office is a very quiet, peaceful, soothing, and comfortable experience. If she feels something off or a part of the body that may need an adjustment, she will pay special attention to the affected area to relieve the tension. She makes sure you leave feeling way better than when you arrived. Her pricing is also extremely fair. I know massage therapists who charge a lot more for the same duration of time. I would highly recommend Wen Jing for anyone who is looking for an affordable yet talented massage therapist!
Booking my appointment online was easy, and I was able to get an appointment without a long wait time. The place was very clean, and the people were professional. My therapist was welcoming and helpful with all my questions. My tension melted away during my session, and I left the place feeling energized.
I have used several different therapists and they have all been excellent and extremely professional. I always go home feeling better. Definitely worth the money.
I've been going to Elise for a very long time. I was very fortunate to have found this wonderful talented massage therapist that cares about what she does and how you feel. I've been to massage therapist from Delaware, Maryland and Pennsylvania and Elise is hands down the best. Never ever had i had a massage that even comes close. Elise definitely has magic hands. You will not be disappointed. Simply the best.

Paula is the best massage therapist for pinpointing the origin of pain and working out the appropriate muscles. Her knowledge of anatomy and structure are beyond excellent!!! I feel so much better after seeing her.
Brenda is the best! She makes me feel so relaxed as soon as I enter her door. On her massage table, I melt and have fallen asleep twice as her techniques are so soothing to me. I have a terrible time relaxing and sleeping in general and her massages help me mentally and physically! I can't thank her enough! Highly recommend her!

Great environment great people. Fran has been the most attentive massage therapist I've ever had. Has helped me with realigning my body and focusing on those troublesome parts. I've learned seeing her every 5-6 weeks helps me maintain and not to lose progress on work being done. She listens and is knowledgeable with her craft, helps you learn to listen to your body.

I’ve been seeing Jared for over a year now, and he always takes the time to listen—he is even knowledgeable about my rare genetic condition, Nail Patella Syndrome, which rare in itself.—I never feel rushed out the door. Josh was recommended to my by my friend. I needed PT after hurting my back lifting. He is patient with his clients, meets them where they are in their recovery and incredibly personable.It was great that he was able to come to my home to help me. He also gave me homework to do in between our sessions and introduced me to a new form of yoga too!I highly recommend him and his services.
