There are is a staff member or two who I found to be very unapproachable. They seemed very short/snippy, and seemed kind of annoyed by my presence. Their attitude just seemed very poor and like they could possibly use a refresher course on what providing acceptable customer service looks like.“

“I am now over 6 weeks post op on the right, 4 on the left. My only negative on Elmwood was the long wait, nearly 2 months for the evaluation but the first surgery was in 2 weeks the second in 4 weeks and I left the evaluation appointment with a folder containing the pre and post op instructions, my appointments scheduled, and the kit for pre and post care, eye drops, glasses etc. This efficiency is rare. The surgeries went as well. The day after I was seeing much better and I have had no negatives. The followup from Elmwood and UPMC hospital where the surgery was done was great. I have my last appointment next week. I did not opt to have astigmatism correction and got mono focal lens so I am wearing glasses. This decision was based on a lot of reading, the monofocals and glasses looked like the best option for me. I am 2020 and better color and shade definition, was marginal 2040 and was having problems if print did not have enough contrast. Elmwood is a class act.“

“I would give 10 stars to Dr. Lisa if I could! My family first went to Dr Lisa 25+ years ago. She has given us amazing care and was wonderful with my children, especially when it came for contacts. We moved out of state 10 years ago and just came back. Even though it is a 1 1/2 hour drive to York, we immediately went back to her practice. Her thoroughness, knowledge, ability to diagnose issues and her amazingly professional and kind manner can not be beat. I would...and do...recommend her to anyone. Actually, years ago I recommended her to a friend whose husband could not get his eye issues solved. After seeing Dr Lisa, his issues were diagnosed and resolved!! Thank you Dr Lisa for your care of a very important part of our bodies....our eyes!!“

“Dan helped me out with a pair of glasses for my kid and he was clearly knowledgeable and patient with us. He recommended some options that I hadn't considered and helped me stay within my budget. While wrapping up the transaction and leaving he said, "God bless" which was weird to me because I hadn't sneezed or anything, but, anyway, overall a good experience, I'd go back or recommend a friend.“
