I just moved to Harrisburg a couple of months ago and was looking for a local barber to become my go-to for hair cuts. The first time I got my hair cut at Mac’s, I knew I had found the right place. Mac is an expert barber and is very welcoming and kind. He gives out great advice if you ask and knows how to have a conversation. I look forward to getting my haircut every month now. I am super picky about my nails. They are an expensive accessory that you don’t always get the service you expect. That has kept me from getting my nails done in Harrisburg in the last 2 years! However Bee at Pro Nails is PHENOMENAL!!! She took her time on me and my male client! She did the most perfect almond shape and gorgeous lavender cat eye and did a dedication to my clients mom on his nails. His nails look so amazing on his hands and she was extremely friendly. The shop is quiet and very clean. I am just so ecstatic to have finally found a place to get my nails done!!! She is the real deal. If you don’t believe me, look at my pics I’ve posted. This salon and their staff are absolutely amazing! I went in over the weekend for the first time to see Gracie and she was so sweet and fun to talk to. I came in with a natural brown hair color (photo attached) and wanted icy white blonde and she nailed it!!! She also did a K18 treatment to prevent any damage to my hair and it feels so soft and healthy. I have had so many compliments and I can't stop looking at it. I got my knotless braids done again with Tameka, she is amazing ,from the start to Finish. She deserves more just five stars. She makes you feel comfortable. And she knows what she is doing. I'm so glad I found this spa! It's just a couple of minutes off of I-81, in a small strip mall a few miles north of Harrisburg.
The spa interior is serene and welcoming. There are 3 massage rooms, one of which was set up for a couples massage.
My therapist has clearly had a lot of training. She delivered an excellent medium/hard massage that had me ooh-ing and ah-ing for the entire 60 minutes. We chatted a bit at the beginning, and then I slipped into that marvelous nearly hypnotic massage-induced state that you occasionally reach with a top-notch massage therapist. At the end of the hour, when I sat up on the table, I had to wait a minute or two for my head to clear, so I could re-enter the real world!
It was a wonderful hour. I'm looking forward to going back to this gem of a spa soon.

Tylor came out today to fix a clogged drain in my upstairs tub. I had previously paid another plumber over $700 and he couldn't even finish the job; Tylor had it done in about 20 minutes! I highly recommend Wizzard Drain Cleaning!

I had work done with the thermostat on my heating system. The thermostat that I wanted installed was a complicated internet-based thermostat. When I called the C.F. Acri and Son, Jen answered and and confidently stated that they could install the thermostat. Chris came out to install the thermostat and was prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable. I was impressed with how easily he installed the thermostat, including some troubleshooting that he had to do and repair from the previous homeowner's wiring. Rates were reasonable and this company is now my go-to for HVAC needs.
I received a recommendation to use AMJ for some outlet issues at my home, including outdoor outlets that were no longer working. AMJ came out, inspected the issues, provided a quote, and fixed everything on the same day. I think I just found my new electrician! Price was good and workmanship was top notch. Don’t think twice when you need an electrician.

Sheetz Electrical Contractors wired my new home. One outlet did not work and the electrician dropped by to fix it. He quickly determined the problem, fixed it, and cleaned up after himself. This kind of service is just not common any more.
They were a great help with more knowledge of my security system than could have hoped for. He previously installed security systems for Bitner and had extensive knowledge in security systems. Couldn't fix the problem but at least narrowed it down. Thanks for a great job.

We originally had Susquehanna Flooring apply LVP flooring and some subflooring corrections a couple of yrs ago and they did such a great job we contacted them again. This time we spoke to Dan about applying Carpet in our bedroom and steps, along with LVP flooring in our hallways.. DAN is such a great communicator, he was able to provide us with suggestions and corrections to our project. Robert came to do the subflooring and LVP he did a phenomenal job and was very personable.. Sun also came to help with the flooring and prep for the carpeting . Lastly Jeremy came to apply the Carpeting and did a great job as well. We are very appreciative of the project completed and the business of Susquehanna Flooring Co. We would HIGHLY recommend them as contractor for your home.. My only hopes is that this business gets wide recognition, prospers, and keeps their affordable pricing, great tradesmen work , and personable customer service. FloorMax in Aspen Hill, Silver Spring, Maryland is the place to go for carpet. Masoud and Robert were so informative in helping me pick out the perfect carpet. Armondo and Jose were excellent installers of the carpet, taking time to move furniture carefully, taking extra steps to vacuum the carpet several times to make sure all the little carpet loops were all picked up when the carpet job was completed, and very pleasant to work with. I highly recommend FloorMax in Aspen Hill. If you are looking for flooring, please do not pass this store by.
We had a great experience with Harrisburg Wall and Floor. We had Mike Tarasi as our salesman and he was very knowledgeable and very customer oriented. We had our whole first floor recarpeted and the guys who came out to replace it were also great to work with. I would highly recommend them and will be using them in the future.

Stoneybrooke performed amazingly quick and thorough work on my in laws house which went from an additional project to a house rebuild with addition following a fire. From start to finish, Chris, Steve and the team were thorough and built the house to our specs while staying within insurance budget for the rebuild and the addition budget as well. They completed the house from the studs back to basically a new house in 8 months. They made their house a priority and improved the house to include a larger kitchen and deluxe bathroom. They quickly resolved hiccups and adapted to code changes with quick adjustments and fixes. We recommend Chris and his team to anyone. They love the back deck especially as that is my in laws favorite place now. The installers of their appliances were amazed they were back in the house in 8 months saying that never happens.

Originally our project was a little over our price range but Dominic helped us by providing creative solutions to keep us within our initial budget. They did a fantastic job and in the end I got my dream kitchen. We can’t speak highly enough about Cristillos Construction. They are so polite and respectful and we will be telling everyone we know to use them! 10/10 We highly recommend them!!!!
I work with Kasey for my HVAC needs, and in this case, an emergency hot water heater install. He was recommended to my by a good Friend who owns a small business, who said he was Honest and Fair. Kasey actually turned out to be even better than that. He also seems to make himself available quickly for emergency service whenever he can. In my case, we were without hot water, and I have two teenage daughters. Not a great situation. He came over immediately and tried to fix the problem, and when it couldn't be repaired, did a replacement for me the next day. For a VERY reasonable price, even if this wasn't a rush service, which is certainly was.
I also work as a contractor, and I know the importance of finding someone who is good at their job, charges a fair price, and takes pride in their work- all of which Kasey does, on every job. As a Dad, I know something even more important- I trust Kasey in my Home with my Family. This is NOT something I take lightly. Despite his exceptional work, I would say that his character is probably what wins him my highest recommendation.

Place was easy to load at. Kinda a pain to get into. 22 is split highway, nowhere to turn semi around if headed west on 22. Pull up to guard shack. Checkin. Loaded crane mats, was only there 1 hr. Would take load from there again.

We’ve had Ryan a few times for extermination now and Ryan is always pleasant and treats our fam dog, my other son, like he deserves to be treated, Stone is a large dog and people are usually scared of him, based on size alone, Stone, in the 7 years since we’ve rescued him, has never shown or displayed one ounce of aggression towards people.
Some vendors that we deal with require us to put Stone in a room because of their fear, unfair to Stone, he’s here more than all of us and protects our home!!!

Very good people and excellent service. I called with a problem, and instead of trying to sell me an annual service subscription like most other pest businesses, they simply explained the proper way to fix the issue. They didn't try to sell me anything, just literally tried to help.These people should be your first call for any pest problems. I can definitely recommend them to anyone.
We had a bat that got into our house and Devin was fantastic. We had two calls with him, both at oddball hours (4 am and then 9 pm). Both times he was prompt and efficient and ultimately got rid of the bat for us. Thank you!
From start to finish Luke and his staff and crew were beyond professional! They responded promptly whenever I had a question. Derek, the owner, designed and constructed a gorgeous patio for me this year. He removed a bunch of old and overgrown shrubs and created an eye-catching and calming oasis in my backyard that ties into my pool seamlessly. He is a conscientious professional and the cost of the job was more than fair. I would highly recommend Diggers for your next patio and/or landscaping project.
Lance and his team did an excellent job for us on both our hardscaping - paver patio and fire pit - and landscaping projects. The team showed up and worked hard every day until the jobs were done. The result is a beautiful! We will definitely use Hemlock in the future.

8/12/25 Went in with a broken filling, came out with a new filling and so far so good. Dr. Tendon did an, almost painless numbing of my tooth and once the local wore off I have not had any issues with the new filling.

I've had neck and upper shoulder pain for about two years now. I do kettlebell workouts, rowing, running, and jiujitsu a couple times a week. I'm sure doing this constantly over the years led to this chronic pain.After hearing about the success my father had working with Dr. B, I decided to give him a shot. This was my first experience with a chiropractor.Dr. B was able to identify a couple potential areas to work on and was extremely friendly. After one adjustment to my neck, I instantly had more range of motion and less pain when moving my neck around. It was an incredible relief. I know there is still more work to be done and I plan to continue seeing Dr. B whenever I'm able to. I can't recommend this clinic enough!

This is the best doctor/chiropractor I have ever been to. He is very good at what he does. He is very knowledgeable. He goes above and beyond to help his patients and do whatever he can to make. One of the best practices we have been to. We took our Corgi named Axel to this vet and had a wonderful experience. The waiting room was very clean and quiet. Everyone was kind and very informative. We have used this facility for over 10+ years and will not go anywhere else. When we were out of town and our dog was sick when he was boarding. Amina was AWESOME! I scheduled a facial treatment with her for a trip I was going on a few days later and can't tell you the number of compliments I got once my face had fully recovered. I saw the positive reviews but none of them (in my opinion) did Amina justice for how great of an experience this was. Such a great experience from start to finish. The staff were friendly and professional, and the environment was clean, quiet, and very calming. My therapist really knew what they were doing — they worked out knots I didn’t even realize I had. I felt completely at ease the whole time and left feeling lighter and more relaxed. I’m coming back here weekly from now on. Highly recommend to anyone needing a reset!
I woke up with a headache and tried everything to get rid of it. I walked past the massage parlor, and decided to go in on a whim. It was easy enough to point to the service that I wanted and they took me right back to a room. The masseuse asked if I would like heavy or light pressure and went right to work giving me a head to toe massage. I left feeling so much better and will be back!

My wife and I have gone here together a half dozen times so far this year. The two massage therapists are excellent. She was quite strong with her hands. Back and neck felt great afterwards. Only complaint is that it gets cold, but they added heating pads in the massage table during our last visit which made it so much better. Also the ambiance being in a dying dmall isn't the greatest, but the quality massage you get makes you forget where you are. Highly recommended.

So thankful I was referred to this PT. From the jump, I was treated really well. Literally the only thing I could tell them (my own lack of knowledge) was that “I would get shoulder pain and lose mobility on my left shoulder whenever I am on vacation”, and instead of looking at me like I was a crazy person, they helped me figure it out.
My months being an Inspired patient really put me on the road to being pain free and I couldn’t be more grateful. My PT, Sara really understood the issue and came up with programming that not only made me stronger, but showed me the movements I needed to know to relieve my pain.
In my experience, you have a whole team here, all working together from the front desk to the PTs to get you into your sessions at a frequency and programming that works for you.
I had the pleasure of working with every one of their providers and they all deserve top marks. You can tell by just sitting around at the waiting room and listening to the banter that I am not alone in my glowing opinion of this place.
Now, they do tend to be pretty busy, and scheduling can get a little tight. I chalk that up to the quality of the service that they provide. I was worried that a busy gym would mean a rushed, crowded, unpleasant experience but they are able to maintain the casual and welcoming atmosphere. No matter how badly those BFR machines suck.
Lots of easy parking, easy to find and get to, and they have long hours and lots of availability (meaning they are open really early and close late). They super responsive to and easy to gets hold of.
If you are in need of Physical Therapy, and this particular one is one of your options, I urge you, stranger on the internet, to give this one a shot.

I was skeptical when I initially started treating for my low back and hip pain. I decided it wouldn’t hurt to try something different as I wasn’t getting meaningful pain relief from OTC medication or physical therapy. I also wanted to avoid injections or any other invasive treatments. I’m so fortunate I took a chance on acupuncture and specifically with Rebecca. Her treatments have been very effective.
