28 W 27th St Suite 401 Floor 4th, New York“I had the most incredible Thai massage experience at Sukho Thai Healing. This place is truly a hidden gem—if my friend hadn’t gifted me a session, I might never have discovered it. From the moment I walked in, it felt like I had stepped into a Forbes 5-star spa.
The space is serene and beautifully curated, with stunning artwork that immediately sets a calming tone. I was welcomed with a chilled wet cloth for my hands and a glass of iced tea—such a thoughtful touch on a hot summer day. Slippers and a soft linen garment were provided before the session, adding to the luxurious experience.
The massage itself was outstanding—aromatherapy, expert hands, and deeply rejuvenating stretches that left me feeling balanced, relaxed, and totally restored. Afterward, I was treated to a beautifully presented tray of hot tea and delicate rolled cookies. Every detail was thoughtful and elevated.
I’m so grateful for the gift—and next time, I’ll be the one giving this experience to others. I can’t wait to return!“

1 W 34th St. # 204, New York“About a year ago, I started dealing with chronic pain most likely stemming from over lifting in the gym. After multiple failed attempts trying to find an LMT who could alleviate tension and partner with me to rehab and strengthen problem areas, I am so lucky to have found Chasi at Body Mechanics.
Chasi has made a huge difference in my recovery. She is very talented and comes to every session with a POV of what we want to work on based on how my body has reacted in recent session.
I highly recommend giving her a visit, whether it be for an acute injury/pain, or just for a great massage!“

Convenient location, easy registration and check-in, modern interior decor with beautiful natural light flooding the studio, high-end finishes and most importantly: an all-star crew of instructors and staff! This studio offers a perfectly balanced curriculum and the members can choose from a variety of barre, dance/cardio and yoga classes throughout the day. Great little hidden gem in the UES! I started trying it out with their first-timer promotion for two weeks and have been addicted ever since! As a hardcore barre practitioner, I’ve frequented all major studios all over Manhattan and this one definitely tops my list! You’ll be noticeably lighter, leaner and stronger after just a couple of classes - amazing results!“

She truly cares about your skin and its unique needs, taking the time to discuss your routine, recommend personalized products and thoughtful follow-up care. Her level of attention and dedication is unlike anything I’ve experienced before. I cannot recommend her enough!“

30 E 60th St Suite 206, New York“I’ve visited numerous popular physical therapy clinics in NYC —for everything from back and knee injuries to arthritis. But working with Central Park Physical Therapy (30 E 60th) has been, by far, the most healing and empowering experience I’ve had.
They have all the advanced equipment you’d expect, but the real differentiator is the one-on-one, personalized sessions. You’re not passed off to assistants or put on autopilot machines. You get real care, real time, every time.
My therapist is Rik Misiura , a former competitive triathlete who once led one of New York’s largest physical therapy organizations, treating athletes, dancers, and movie stars alike. These days, he works more exclusively, bringing his mastery to clients who are serious about getting better.
Rik brings an incredible range of approaches to each session, from Pilates-based movement, resistance training, and soft tissue release to breathwork and sound therapy. Every session is different because he actually listens to what your body needs that day. Somehow, he always gets it exactly right.
He also has a few secret techniques - a fusion of Eastern and Western methods - that will quite literally knock your socks off. You’ll walk in stiff or hurting, and leave grounded, realigned, painless and feeling great.
There’s something amazing about the breathwork he incorporates too, subtle but powerful, often unlocking deeper patterns in the nervous system. And at the end of each session, he offers optional sound healing: a moment of quiet integration that feels like a full reset.
His presence is calm, focused, and deeply attuned and he also has a great sense of humor, which makes the sessions not just healing but genuinely enjoyable. It’s rare to find a group with such deep expertise and genuine compassion, and I highly recommend Rik and Central Park PT. They even make house calls if you need them. If you’re looking for someone who can help you feel better, move better, and reconnect with your body on every level, I can’t recommend Central Park PT highly enough.“

12 St Marks Pl, New York“Not sure what I’d do without this place. I’ve been going almost daily for about 4 months, and it’s amazing. The teachers range from very good to incredible, and the setting is perfect. It’s a suggested donation of $10, which it is well worth, but you can pay what you can. It’s a power vinyasa yoga, with a one breath, one movement format, that results in a fantastic workout. If you want to get your body healthy and strong, and feel good doing it, I highly recommend this class. They offer numerous times throughout the week, with enough variety to accommodate most any schedule. All types of people and levels of yogi attend, so don’t worry about where you are at. Yoga is ultimately an individual practice that is much motivated and inspired by doing it with others. I just love it.“

DuMont Building, 515 Madison Ave Fifth Floor, New York“I went from casually running 2 miles twice a week—with a 5K being my longest race—to completing the NYC Marathon in just seven months. In March 2025, I committed to running the marathon while fundraising for Red Door Community, a nonprofit cancer support organization. Knowing I needed expert guidance, I reached out to Sara Dimmick of Physical Equilibrium and signed up for her online coaching program, with a few in-person sessions at her clean, bright, and welcoming gym.
Sara crafted a personalized training plan that went far beyond running—it included cross-training, core work, and strength training, all tailored to my needs and schedule. Her approach was balanced, effective, and encouraging. I could feel myself getting stronger week by week, and the progress was evident.
Crossing the finish line of the NYC Marathon was one of the most incredible accomplishments of my life, and I truly credit Sara’s coaching and support for helping me get there.“
“Ive been practicing with Taryn for 8+ years. The Class is a method that I come back to during periods of grief, joy, loss, frustration, and everything in between. It is so much more than just a workout class, that must be experienced in order to be understood fully. I can’t recommend The Class Enough, especially to anyone just beginning their spiritual practices or Interested in incorporating somatic movement into therapy.“

I’ve never done any craniosacral work before, and Jon’s extensive knowledge and extreme patience put me right at ease. It’s been beneficial not only physically and mentally -- it's also been kind of fascinating. I’d recommend Jon without hesitation. He’s got the touch!“

25 1st Ave., New York“We had our wedding at the Bhakti Center a few months ago in their beautiful 3rd floor temple space. The temple is adorned with exquisite devotional paintings and the stunning deities of Radha & Krishna, which created such a serene and spiritual atmosphere for our ceremony.
A big thank you to Tatiana Kiseleva, who coordinated our wedding logistics. She was wonderful to work with and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. Everything came together beautifully.
The head priest, HG Vasudeva prabhu, led the ceremony in such an engaging way. He involved our guests, explained important parts of the rituals in English, and ensured the ceremony was meaningful yet flowed at a comfortable pace. We are also grateful to HG Yadunath prabhu, who served as MC and helped guide everyone through the program with warmth and clarity. Our family and friends truly appreciated this.
The Bhakti Center also prepared a delicious post-wedding lunch for our guests, which added the perfect finishing touch to the day.
Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a more intimate, spiritual, and memorable wedding experience. We highly recommend the Bhakti Center to anyone seeking a ceremony filled with devotion, beauty, and heart.“

434 6th Ave #2, New York“Ok everyone in NYC you have to, HAVE to go to Modo yoga 6th Ave but also you have to experience a YIN class 90 min with Maria Valeroso. I went for the first time tonight just to see, I usually just do flow classes and my mind was blown. I’ve travelled to 5 continents and only ever met 3 people that have the gift Maria has when she makes her gentle hands on adjustments to students. There actually no words to describe it. There are people in the world that charge thousands of dollars to do a retreat with a being like Maria V. Please please TRUST ME and go to a YIN class with Maria. Or do a flow class and stay for the YIN with her after like I did. I don’t know if she is using acupressure, or alignment techniques for the subtle energy body or reiki or what exactly but I know that she is gifted. So please if you find yourself needing some healing be it from stress, jet lag, exercise, lack of sleep, tight muscles, a break up whatever JUST go to her YIN class. After the class I walked inside the locker and ALL of us were speaking about how special of a treasure she is. I cannot believe I waited this long to do a YIN class with her, for real. No cap.“

As someone who's always wanted to try aerial silk but has been too nervous, I can't thank Austin enough for putting me at immediate ease. His attention to detail, his safety measures, and his enthusiasm and supportive demeanor made stepping onto the silk feel like a breeze (pun intended). With Austin's expert guidance and fun commentary, I not only conquered my fears trying moves for the first time but also discovered a newfound passion for aerial arts. Highly recommend this class to anyone looking for a great workout paired with laughter, good vibes, amazing music and nonjudgmental encouragement!“

The community is lovely. The rooms are hot but not unbearably hot like other studios. Each yoga instructor offers a unique vinyasa experience with their own creative sequencing. I definitely plan to continue taking classes here and would highly recommend!!“
