The gym itself is a great space and overall very friendly environment. If you're looking for a true new yorker training experience, Eve Josephson will give your buns a workout, while discussing your favorite pastry/dessert shops and photos of your pets.“

She truly cares about your skin and its unique needs, taking the time to discuss your routine, recommend personalized products and thoughtful follow-up care. Her level of attention and dedication is unlike anything I’ve experienced before. I cannot recommend her enough!“

115 W 27th St 3rd floor, New York“This year, I've had the pleasure of visiting Hot Yoga Chelsea several times, and even though it's a 40-50 minute commute, it's 1000% worth it. I only wish I could go more often! As someone relatively new to yoga, I really appreciate how warm and welcoming the staff is, and all the instructors are so supportive. I have a knee injury, and they always offer helpful adjustments to accommodate my needs. The studio is also spotlessly clean. I highly recommend Hot Yoga Chelsea to anyone looking for a friendly, motivating environment that suits all skill levels!“

1 W 34th St. # 204, New York“About a year ago, I started dealing with chronic pain most likely stemming from over lifting in the gym. After multiple failed attempts trying to find an LMT who could alleviate tension and partner with me to rehab and strengthen problem areas, I am so lucky to have found Chasi at Body Mechanics.
Chasi has made a huge difference in my recovery. She is very talented and comes to every session with a POV of what we want to work on based on how my body has reacted in recent session.
I highly recommend giving her a visit, whether it be for an acute injury/pain, or just for a great massage!“

87 5th Ave #808, New York“Having known Jon through yoga, and drawn by his singular familiarity with scoliosis, I came to him after some new back pain surfaced. I’ve never done any craniosacral work before, and Jon’s extensive knowledge and extreme patience put me right at ease. It’s been beneficial not only physically and mentally -- it's also been kind of fascinating. I’d recommend Jon without hesitation. He’s got the touch!“

Yoga practice that is not rushed, gives you time to connect to your body but at the same time intense and makes you really move and sweat and release and stretch. Yoga teachers know what they are doing. The whole community they created comes from a giving place.“

1164 3rd Ave, New York“Best boutique fitness studio in this neighborhood - highly recommend! Convenient location, easy registration and check-in, modern interior decor with beautiful natural light flooding the studio, high-end finishes and most importantly: an all-star crew of instructors and staff! This studio offers a perfectly balanced curriculum and the members can choose from a variety of barre, dance/cardio and yoga classes throughout the day. Great little hidden gem in the UES! I started trying it out with their first-timer promotion for two weeks and have been addicted ever since! As a hardcore barre practitioner, I’ve frequented all major studios all over Manhattan and this one definitely tops my list! You’ll be noticeably lighter, leaner and stronger after just a couple of classes - amazing results!“

30 E 60th St Suite 206, New York“Central Park Physical Therapy is an outstanding physical therapy practice. They don't just help resolve your pain/issue, they spend the time to understand the root cause and give you exercises so the pain doesn't come back. I've had various issues over many years but have never had to get physical therapy for the same problem - just fabulous. Also the practice has convenient hours so you can go before work or after. I can't recommend Central Park Physical Therapy enough - their knowledge, their approach and their support are just great.“

It seamlessly blends rich knowledge with creative methods, providing new activities for little yogis. 302 Bowery 2nd Floor, New York“An unforgettable experience - inspiring and warm In June 2024, I was able to visit 3 classes at THE STUDIO in New York with my daughter - a real highlight of our trip! We were welcomed with open arms from the very first moment. Meeting Abbie Galvin was deeply moving for me - her presence, her clarity and her passion are an inspiration. The atmosphere in the studio was one of warmth, openness and genuine togetherness. It wasn't just a yoga class - it was an experience that touched my body, mind and heart. Even today, I think back with great gratitude to the special people and moments I encountered there. The classes with Tyron Watson and Felicia Franklin and Abbie took me and Vera to a new level and gave us an incredible amount of energy, which we fully savored in our short time in this great city. I can wholeheartedly recommend this studio to anyone who is looking for more than exercise - namely connection, inspiration and genuine human closeness. It was a gift to be there.“

247 W 87th St, New York“I have used Neighborhood Trainers as an independent trainer for over a decade and has been an indispensible resource in building my Personal Training Business.
I have had so many clients find me through Neighborhood Trainers, which is great. More importantly, Neighborhood Trainers, put me in touch with the right clients; long-term clients that were perfectly suited for my services and temperament.
If you are an independent trainer or are in search of a trainer, I cannot recommend Neighborhood Trainers highly enough.“

118-122 Baxter St suite 501, New York“I highly recommend Dr. Emily Siy for acupuncture. I had severe low back pain for 10 days and was in desperate need of relief. As a busy acupuncturist myself and mom to two little kids I was so relieved that after one treatment the pain was reduced significantly and I woke up the next day pain free... I could work/ pick up the kids without having to take pain relievers. It felt miraculous, I only wish I had gone sooner. Thank you Dr. Emily!“

303 5th Ave, New York“I have been practicing Tantra with Michiko for a year now and I can say honestly that she changed my life. I met her just googling Tantra as I was going through a burnout and a life crisis. She has since been my teacher and my beacon in this healing and soul searching journey. She has guided me through generational trauma, mental and physical health, a sexual awakening, love relationships and most importantly the love relationship with myself. The best way I can describe Michiko is a mix between a fairy godmother, spiritual master, and a samurai. She has taught me exercises and routines specifically tailored for what was afflicting me and for my needs that have made tremendous difference in my body and mental health. The work I have done with Michiko has helped me more than years of therapy. I recommend her whole-heartedly no matter what you are going through.“

138 5th Ave Second Floor, New York“I started seeing Mike Hood at NYPT several years ago after recovering from surgery on my lower back. I wanted to start lifting again but I needed to be careful to not hurt myself after the surgery. Mike helped find the perfect balance between a safe and low impact routine that still led to noticeable results in strength and physique. Also, the space and the people at NYPT are so welcoming and kind I look forward to going there weekly for my training sessions. I’d recommend Mike Hood and NYPT to anyone looking to level up their fitness routine!“

“The name outside is YOGASPARK This was fun and really showed me how strong I was. I tried this class out from this app that runs a special for a MONTH FREE (if anyone is interested pm, I got the link). I couldn't get any pictures because I was running late and it was my first taking the class. You can bring a mat or rent one. Towels are available, and they are WELL needed. This is a black light heated yoga class. So you are going to sweat, and I mean sweat. This class was a mixture of beginners and advanced. The teacher was freaking hands down knowledgeable. Her voice as she pushed you thru the class definitely had me pushing myself. The balance I had aligned after her class was well needed. The studio is 2 floors, with lockers. Men and women's locker rooms are available. Equipment is very much available for after needs to get the day or night started, so if needed to fresh up after, don't worry, it's AVAILABLE, and everything is there to make it easier.“

12 St Marks Pl, New York“Not sure what I’d do without this place. I’ve been going almost daily for about 4 months, and it’s amazing. The teachers range from very good to incredible, and the setting is perfect. It’s a suggested donation of $10, which it is well worth, but you can pay what you can. It’s a power vinyasa yoga, with a one breath, one movement format, that results in a fantastic workout. If you want to get your body healthy and strong, and feel good doing it, I highly recommend this class. They offer numerous times throughout the week, with enough variety to accommodate most any schedule. All types of people and levels of yogi attend, so don’t worry about where you are at. Yoga is ultimately an individual practice that is much motivated and inspired by doing it with others. I just love it.“

The staff members are kind, professional, flexible, patient, and responsive. They go out of their way for you. It’s clear that they value and find meaning in the work they do. Renting space at MBR is also an incredible value. The space is beautiful - very charming and tranquil. Women who attend my events frequently comment on how much they like it. I’m extremely grateful to have found this gem.“

“I had the most incredible Thai massage experience at Sukho Thai Healing. This place is truly a hidden gem—if my friend hadn’t gifted me a session, I might never have discovered it. From the moment I walked in, it felt like I had stepped into a Forbes 5-star spa.
The space is serene and beautifully curated, with stunning artwork that immediately sets a calming tone. I was welcomed with a chilled wet cloth for my hands and a glass of iced tea—such a thoughtful touch on a hot summer day. Slippers and a soft linen garment were provided before the session, adding to the luxurious experience.
The massage itself was outstanding—aromatherapy, expert hands, and deeply rejuvenating stretches that left me feeling balanced, relaxed, and totally restored. Afterward, I was treated to a beautifully presented tray of hot tea and delicate rolled cookies. Every detail was thoughtful and elevated.
I’m so grateful for the gift—and next time, I’ll be the one giving this experience to others. I can’t wait to return!“
