It was Ramadan, and she worked on my hair until 2 am, and made sure my mother and I ate when we broke our fast. Her hospitality is unmatched. I appreciate that she made my mother—who was not getting her hair done—feel very comfortable.
Zahra’s not only talented and humble; she’s also very intentional about how she designs her space and client experiences. The salon is always clean, quiet, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed. She shared her vision for the salon and life in general, and I can tell you that she has a strong sense of justice and a desire to connect and create community, especially among women of color. While someone may think that bears no relevance to her ability to do my hair, it damn sure does to me. I don’t want anyone with bad vibes touching my hair and sharing space with me for all of these hours.

This salon recently changed owners and is now called Glamour Nail and spa. I never write reviews but they deserve a million stars! The salon is so clean and pretty inside and they care for each one of their customers! Upon arriving they were so kind and sat me down right away. They gave me a water bottle and started taking my polish off! They made sure I liked the color on my nails before painting all of them which was so nice. They made sure my nails were as even as they possibly could be as well. Avery did my gel manicure and Jason did my Pedicure and they did a fantastic job. Thank you guys for giving me a great experience! You are all the best!

And so I saw some photos of Jet's work on social media, so I decided to give her and Anthony DeFranco Salon a try, and.... as long as I live nearby, I'll now never go anywhere else!Jet is a true artist and the best stylist I've ever had, anywhere, anytime, ever. Each time I go in for a haircut, I want something different to change it up a bit. Jet not only creates the style I want, but she markedly improves it so that it fits my face and "me" even better. I'm blown away (pun!) by her artistry. She is a true professional. Oh - and... when my hair grows out from the cool new cut, it grows into another cut that I love!... a sign of a true master of her trade. :)I should also mention that Jet is extremely personable and always makes me feel comfortable (and I consider myself very introverted and awkward. ha) and makes me smile and laugh.Also... everyone at the salon is sooooo friendly and welcoming... even the owner greets me while I'm waiting for my appointment with Jet. I was staying at the Whitman Motor Lodge and I walked in to get my hair blown out for a wedding. Susan squeezed me in before her first client. She and her assistant Jessica gave me the royal treatment. They used rollers, and a special conditioner. Susan angled my "fat frizzy" hair in the back for no extra charge. Susan went above and beyond to make sure I had red carpet worthy hair. Jessica was helpful and efficient. I will definitely return to Aviance next time I'm in the area. I booked my mom a HydraFacial and lymphatic facial massage with Rebecca, and she absolutely loved it. Joey arrived quickly and immediately knew the problem needed to replace a hose, pump and provide some routine cleaning maintenance to the system that I was not aware I should be doing. Now that I have Master cooling as a trusted advisor on my ac and heating needs I will never trust anyone else.
Blit’s was honest, detail-oriented, and knowledgeable. We have used them multiple times for many years but I believe they have since been bought out and is now MDM Plumbing. I haven’t tried them since but think they should update their Google page to reflect their new name and management.

Prefacing my review by saying we are not related, friends with, or ever met Joe, the owner of APple flooring before I reached out to him for an estimate for carpeting for the stairs in my condo. Looked online and found Apple Flooring had excellent reviews yet still had some doubts whether or not they were real reviews. I called and spoke with Liz, who was exceptionally nice. Joe, the owner,, came to give us a complimentary estimate. He definitely knew what he was talking about, didn't pressure us, seemed very honest, and although the job was labor intensive his estimate was extremely fair. Also liked supporting a local business. We're very happy with the carpet and the installation was done exactly the way we wanted. Only regret is that we didn't find Joe and Apple Flooring prior to installing our luxury vinyl flooring! Plan to go back to make a runner for my entry. Highly recommend Joe and Apple flooring

Paul was present on sight during a lot of the process at the beginning Overseeing that the work was done to his standards and mine. Eduin of Ramos Construction designed a new patio and walk for us, and they did a great job with taking out the old concrete and putting in new pavers. Eduin and his crew are very professional and accommodating and their prices are good! They also put up a section of cedar stockade fencing and gate for us in a difficult area. Steven and his crew from Cutting Edge Tree and Landscaping did a fantastic job on removing a massive and ailing oak tree from my property and trimming the crown of another. Steven’s crew was efficient and neat and worked especially hard to protect my neighbor’s property and the heirloom rhododendrons, azaleas and other plants on mine. They were meticulous in their cleanup, leaving no sign of being here other than the trees that were removed! They kept the noise of the removal to minimum as well, only starting their chipper periodically and only when needed. (I have seen other tree trimmers in my neighborhood leaving their chippers running virtually all day!) I interviewed and received estimates from six contractors before selecting Cutting Edge. Steven made a fair and qualified proposal and demonstrated an extensive knowledge of trees and landscaping. He even added the free removal of a five-foot high unsightly tree stump left by another tree company a year or two ago. Thank you for the job well done!

One thing I especially appreciate is that they are open on Saturdays, which is a huge plus for busy families like mine. I was there last Saturday with my three children, and they were seen quickly. Everything went smoothly, and the visit was stress-free.

Today was my first visit. I was referred to Dr. Statler by a friend. I was desperately looking for someone to help me with chronic pain due to Rheumatoid Arthrits and Pinched Nerves. I visited many doctors before and even went to OT but without any relief other than meds. So I decided to look for something hostic… and I believe I found it! ? Also, the receptionist/staff are super helpful and friendly. I feel so much better ? Unbelievable.
My cat twins went to this group for the first time recently.. George needed a dental cleaning & subsequently needed a tooth extracted. Mike fortunately only needed a regular checkup. I am very happy with the kindness & expertise of staff & the excellent care both received. Highly recommended!!

St. Anthony's driving teachers educate students on 1. how to drive, 2. NYS road rules, 3. being aware of their surroundings, and 4. dealing with distractions (such as cellphones and the other kids in the car who are also taking the course).Classes are given weekly over a 4 month period on the same day each week. They consist of an hour lecture and an hour and a half of shared driving. The teacher sits in the passenger seat and four students rotate between sitting in the back and taking their turn in the driver's seat.What is taught MUST be studied and practiced at home before the next class, which requires the presence and guidance of a licenced adult.
