I hired another plumber to replace my sewage ejector pump, but after three and half hours of installation, the person was unable to complete the job. That night, I called and spoke with Brian, the owner of Gerken Plumbing and Heating. He sent his technicians the next day, and they completed the replacement in only one hour. Brian’s technicians were professional, friendly, and efficient.
A week later, I had heating issues with a second-floor bedroom. I had recently hired an oil company to service the oil burner and bleed all the lines, but the baseboard heater in that bedroom was still not working. I called Brian again, and he promptly came to my house with his technician to assess the situation. Brian is extremely knowledgeable and has been in the plumbing and heating business for over 40 years. He explained the problems I was having and gave me helpful recommendations. His technician then repaired the heating issue right away.
I’m very thankful and fortunate to have found Brian. He is responsive, professional, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced. If you’re looking for a reliable and trustworthy plumber, I highly recommend Gerken Plumbing and Heating!

This review is long overdue! I’ve been going to Hollywood Nails since I was 3 years old, and I’m now 24! Kenny and his team always go above and beyond, taking the time to pay attention to detail and create beautiful results. I started getting the gel powder manicures again earlier this year, and recently switched to the regular gels, and my nails couldn’t be happier. They’re stronger, much more protected, and beautiful! They’ve been able to fulfill my crazy requests for designs, and I’ve always been 100% satisfied! 🩵🩵🩵 from fish nails to flames to pedicures, they can do it all!
This salon recently changed owners and is now called Glamour Nail and spa. I never write reviews but they deserve a million stars! The salon is so clean and pretty inside and they care for each one of their customers! Upon arriving they were so kind and sat me down right away. They gave me a water bottle and started taking my polish off! They made sure I liked the color on my nails before painting all of them which was so nice. They made sure my nails were as even as they possibly could be as well. Avery did my gel manicure and Jason did my Pedicure and they did a fantastic job. Thank you guys for giving me a great experience! You are all the best!
Very nice salon. Very clean. All very nice. My pedicure was great. She took her time and was gentle. I also got a gel fill in, and again great job, took care in doing a good job. Very sweet. They have a $10.00 off service M-Th. too.

Manicures also come with a complementary massage (which is fantastic) Momo is the nail tech that did my nails, she is incredibly accommodating and would recommend her for anyone looking for high quality nails. This salon - and especially Jet S at the Huntington location - are absolutely fantastic - the BEST! I had to find a new salon and stylist because my previous person left the field temporarily. And so I saw some photos of Jet's work on social media, so I decided to give her and Anthony DeFranco Salon a try, and.... as long as I live nearby, I'll now never go anywhere else!Jet is a true artist and the best stylist I've ever had, anywhere, anytime, ever. Each time I go in for a haircut, I want something different to change it up a bit. Jet not only creates the style I want, but she markedly improves it so that it fits my face and "me" even better. I'm blown away (pun!) by her artistry. She is a true professional. Oh - and... when my hair grows out from the cool new cut, it grows into another cut that I love!... a sign of a true master of her trade. :)I should also mention that Jet is extremely personable and always makes me feel comfortable (and I consider myself very introverted and awkward. ha) and makes me smile and laugh.Also... everyone at the salon is sooooo friendly and welcoming... even the owner greets me while I'm waiting for my appointment with Jet. This was my first facial, an hydrafacial, and I scheduled my next one right away! Evelin was so thorough about everything she was doing before she started and while she was working on my face. I was able to better understand my skin and what would be best for me. I was so relaxed the entire time. It’s been a few weeks now and I can really tell the difference in my face. I can’t wait for my next one.
Additionally, once I got home, I sent Evelin all my skincare and she took the time to look into each one to help me decide what’s best for my skin type!

Amazing customer service super friendly my ac unit was working but leaking water in my basement. Joey arrived quickly and immediately knew the problem needed to replace a hose, pump and provide some routine cleaning maintenance to the system that I was not aware I should be doing. Now that I have Master cooling as a trusted advisor on my ac and heating needs I will never trust anyone else.
Blit’s was honest, detail-oriented, and knowledgeable. We have used them multiple times for many years but I believe they have since been bought out and is now MDM Plumbing. I haven’t tried them since but think they should update their Google page to reflect their new name and management.

Prefacing my review by saying we are not related, friends with, or ever met Joe, the owner of APple flooring before I reached out to him for an estimate for carpeting for the stairs in my condo. Looked online and found Apple Flooring had excellent reviews yet still had some doubts whether or not they were real reviews. I called and spoke with Liz, who was exceptionally nice. Joe, the owner,, came to give us a complimentary estimate. He definitely knew what he was talking about, didn't pressure us, seemed very honest, and although the job was labor intensive his estimate was extremely fair. Also liked supporting a local business. We're very happy with the carpet and the installation was done exactly the way we wanted. Only regret is that we didn't find Joe and Apple Flooring prior to installing our luxury vinyl flooring! Plan to go back to make a runner for my entry. Highly recommend Joe and Apple flooring

I just had a dental cleaning this time. The office staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I was taken right on time and Dr. Boris is very gentle. Genuinely interested in your dental health. The office is on the second floor, but they do have a chairlift for older people or those with disabilities. Overall, a pleasant enough experience. He has been my Dentist for about a year and a half now and no complaints at all.

Our family loves seeing Dr. Ross! He treats my wife, my son, and me, and we’ve had amazing results. He’s helped my wife tremendously with her hypermobile neck, and fixed our son’s inability to turn his head to the side. Kind, knowledgeable, and always makes us feel comfortable. Highly recommend!

The staff at Animal Care Center of Huntington are kind, professional, and truly care about the animals they treat. The veterinarians took the time to explain everything clearly and made the visit feel calm and reassuring. The office is clean, organized, and welcoming. I felt confident my pet was in good hands and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy vet.
Having been here multiple times over the last few years and I have to say the Dr’s listen and explain so you have a full understanding. as for the STAFF I can’t praise them enough for their professionalism and willingness to help. No groaning nor hesitation to assist in any way they can. And always pleasant to work with.

Stephanie is an amazing esthetician; I really enjoy getting facials with her. I use the monthly membership which enables me to get massages and facials more regularly. My only critiques are how limited the female masseuse availability is and how many things are additional cost every time you visit.
I have been using Empire Medicine and Rehabilitation for a little more than a month. The process has been incredible for me. I was diagnosed with Occipital Neuritis. The pain was constant. I was taking 6 - 8 Advil a day. Since I started with acupuncture I need no Advil. The pain is diminished and I am able to sleep well.

Took the 5 hour class.Dan was a great guy, gave great advice, super funny and entertaining. Didn’t make the class as boring as i thought it would be. Answered all of my concerns. Recommended spot for someone who wants to go in and out and leave with some value able advice.
St. Anthony's driving teachers educate students on 1. how to drive, 2. NYS road rules, 3. being aware of their surroundings, and 4. dealing with distractions (such as cellphones and the other kids in the car who are also taking the course).Classes are given weekly over a 4 month period on the same day each week. They consist of an hour lecture and an hour and a half of shared driving. The teacher sits in the passenger seat and four students rotate between sitting in the back and taking their turn in the driver's seat.What is taught MUST be studied and practiced at home before the next class, which requires the presence and guidance of a licenced adult. The teacher is a teacher, not a magician, and without reading the manual and spending time behind the wheel, your teen won't gain the confidence they'll need, placing themselves and other's at risk.St. Anthony's cost for group driving lessons is exactly average for Long Island. If you prefer private instruction, there are places listed online (at a much higher fee). You will still need to practice with your son/daughter at home, and they will still need to study the driving manual and memorize NYS driving rules, not just for the test, but literally for their lives.4 Stars Because: If you attend this course but do not go to this school, you will generally find yourself treated by the other kids as if you do not exist.Recommendation: Absolutely worth it for what it teaches if you attend this high school or if you are coming in from the outside and are confident enough not to let cliques bother you.
