“Where do I even begin?! 🥹❤ It’s only been TWO sessions with the amazing Maddy at Desire Laser Plus, and I’m already seeing such a difference in my skin and, more importantly, in my confidence.

I actually hadn’t had laser in about a year. The place I previously went to closed down, and honestly, I was nervous to find somewhere new. Starting over with someone new when you’re already vulnerable about something like facial hair isn’t easy. I’m also someone who REALLY goes by reviews, so I spent time Googling places and reading through them, and something about Desire Laser Plus immediately felt like it was going to be the right fit for me.

Even the booking process helped ease my nerves. Their website/system is so seamless, which I was honestly praying for because I was already a nervous Nelly 😂. I booked my consultation, went in, and was able to start my treatments right then and there. It was such an easy and comfortable experience from the very beginning.

Having PCOS and dealing with facial hair and the scars/marks that can come with it has affected my confidence for years. It’s not just about the hair itself — it can really change the way you see yourself and how you perceive your own face. Something as simple as walking out of the house without makeup can feel incredibly vulnerable.

And this is what makes Maddy so special to me. She doesn’t just take care of the physical part with the laser — she understands the emotional side of it, too. She makes me feel safe, comfortable, and never judged. She takes the time to actually educate me about the process, what to expect, and the importance of follow-ups and staying consistent with treatments. I never feel like I’m just another client coming in for an appointment.

After only TWO sessions of full-face laser, I was finally able to go outside without makeup. 🥹❤ And maybe that sounds small to someone else, but for me, that is HUGE.

Slowly but surely, I’m getting more confident and comfortable going out as myself. I’m starting to feel like I’m getting back to ME, and Maddy, I genuinely can’t thank you enough for that. 😭💕 Thank you for not only helping me physically, but for understanding how vulnerable this process can be and making me feel so safe throughout it.
