“I had a great time at the dojo, and I loved being there, until I went out in a rage. I have been planning to come back to No Fear, It’s just that cannot handle the shame of going into the dojo again, and possibly ruin my reputation in the karate world even more, and also if I move on to another dojo, If the scenario does happen, It would feel wrong to compete against a dojo I was once part of in a competition. I will come back someday, and learn from my mistakes.“
“10/10!! If you aren’t going to Jiu Jitsu Modern you are missing out. Everyone is always ready to help each other out. The atmosphere is unmatched, you really do gain a family both on & off the mats. The competition classes are on another level. Professor Carlos & all the coaches have a way with making BJJ classes insightful whether it’s Gi or No-Gi. I’ve been going to Modern for over a year and honestly it is one of the few only things keeping me in NY.“

“Great little hidden gem of a dojo where its not about the money or the ranks first but traditional Japanese Shotokan. Techniques and count offs spoken in Japanese. Very detail oriented. Kids classes and separate adult classes. Not a mcdojo.“
