“After going for an emergency appointment years ago, we learned Dr. Welgrin could be our primary care physician and have never looked back. She's very thorough and accommodating. No waiting months to schedule an appointment.“

“I was seen by a woman physician over video call who was incredibly rude. I needed to get a birth control refill and my physician kept rolling her eyes at me and demanding for me to show her a picture of my prescription even though I told her the exact name and dosage that I am currently on. She yelled at her receptionist demanding why her computer was not logged into the correct profile while she was on the call with me which is so unprofessional and I felt horrible for the receptionist. She sent my medication to my pharmacy and when I asked which one, she looked at me like I was stupid and said “the one we have on file” which she knows was taken down six months ago. Any normal professional working in this field would ask if I need my pharmacy updated.

I received a pleasant call from the head doctor of this urgent care profusely apologizing for this incident. He told me that he would not let this happen again and was very kind and thoughtful over the phone. I also got a phone call from the original practitioner that I had seen ensuring that I received my medication.“

Dr. Anthony then came in and evaluated me, diagnosed me, and sent me off with a work letter and my prescription. Overall, this was an easy process. The wait time was more than usual but it is flu season so be aware.“

“I would like to express my gratitude to Dr. Patrick Ko, MD and the UMD team for their excellent service. I recently injured and dislocated my right leg and hip joint, where I wasn’t able to stand nor walk without a crutch. I went to this urgent care and was received with the utmost care and empathy. I was in great pain and panic. Dr. Ko was calm and attentive. He asked how the injury happened, then he examined and maneuvered my right leg in certain angles to gauge where the source of injury was and tried the conventional, simple fix firsthand instead of other complex treatments. The next day I felt less pain on my right leg-hip joint. The joints must’ve snapped back in place and I was able to resume walking without a crutch the next couple of days. 2 days later the urgent care front desk called to check up on me and to make sure I was recovering. They made sure all patients are well taken care of, even days after patients left the urgent care facility. I couldn’t thank Dr. Ko and the team enough. :)“
