I did NOT expect to be in and out in 2 1/2 hours with how long my locs are + color + retwist service… and in that time like 2/3 people got finished as well. Whole time I felt like friends & family were doing my hair and this was my first time meeting them lol. My hair dresser Candy is very knowledgeable, always taking new courses and listens to what I want. She helped save me when my hair was shedding badly and this was before I had my child. I am very particular about my hair due to unsatisfactory services at other salons. I've actually had a phobia about going to salons due to bad experiences that I have had. Marjeta definitely understands what the customer wants and needs. She really listens and doesn't just treat you like another customer. Let me tell you the amount of barbers I’ve been to throughout my 24 years in America GoodFellas top it. Abe right away welcomed me inside and sat me down. His other barber Alex is also very welcoming and kind. It took Abe less than 45 minutes to cut my hair. Prices are also very fair. By far the best barber shop in the Bronx

I didn't have an appointment it was a walk-in, but I am in love with my short French duck it was definitely givin top tier . Just keep in mind when you go that you will be there for a little while. I just moved to Rockland NY and found an amazing lash lady. I tried booking an appt with her but she was all booked up. I came to the Bronx to visit my mom and as a last resort I booked my lashes with Christina (owner of Lashy Lee) I am so glad I did because she did an amazing job!! She was so professional, the place was really spacious, clean and nice. We ended up having a great conversation and the time flew by. I may have to abandon my lash lady and come here. I higly recommend this place. I can’t wait to go back.

I started seeing Betsayda about a year ago because of hormonal acne issues I’ve had my entire adult life. Betsayda has been EXTREMELY knowledgeable and helpful with giving me tips around my skincare routine in addition to regular, personalized facials that she tailors to my needs. I will say it took a lot of commitment on my end because you don’t see results right away. It took me about 6 months for my skin to turn a corner. I’m now 10 months in, and my skin is almost completely clear. I still get some occasional breakouts, but nothing like what I’ve dealt with in the past. The facilities are super clean, cleaner more than "Spas". the staff on the front are super welcoming making standing time close to zero. This was my first tattoo, and i feel very privileged to come here to Dudes tattoos for my first tattoo. He was very welcoming and very funny. He had laser sharp focus and did a phenomenal job. He was very considerate with the pain to fast accomplish time ratio. He was very attentive to my health, keeping me from passing out. The artwork he did on me was very detailed and got exactly what I wanted where I wanted. He also kept sanitizing every few minutes, so if you’re a clean freak I’d highly recommend this spot.
I had a piercing which I took out 2 years ago from somewhere in Baltimore NOT here or in any relation to this place . And I wanted it back , so I did research on piercing shops in the area . And out of all of them , this one sparked my interest and seemed a lot more professional . Upon entrance I noticed the beautiful art and cleanliness, I was greeted and told where I’d be waiting to get my piercing. I did not wait long , the young lady who did my piercing (frog eyes) was so knowledgeable and told me what was wrong with my previous piercing that I got done elsewhere , and ensured me that she’ll get it right . It was fast , and painless which i was surprised , she also followed the necessary steps to ensure proper hygiene . Very decent prices . I plan on going here if I ever want to get any other piercing . I’m still not a tattoo person but if/ when the time comes I’d definitely be giving them a visit for that as well. I give this place 5+ stars and I’ll definitely be back .

Best service i’ve gotten from a piercer. Savanna is the best piercer ive come across. Everyone’s really professional and clean. She’s always welcoming and warm even during the piercing process she makes sure that you’re comfortable, safe and ready. Her process is the easiest and her station is always being cleaned and sanitized. I’ve received Over 10 piercings from her including ear, belly, and nose piercings. No piercings that i’ve received from savanna has ever gotten infected and her half off piercing sales are a great way to add to my piercing collection.Her piercing assistant as well was very gentle and communicated through her entire process making sure i was okay. The whole shops environment is really an eye looker all the art and wonderful colors. The other shops tattoo artist David is also very nice haven’t had any services by him but always cracking funny jokes and making the environment light and easy. Would recommend coming here for a proper Needled piercing.

I had an outstanding experience with this plumbing company after discovering a major issue with a 4-inch broken pipe. Fenix Pipe repair showed up quick . From the moment they arrived, they handled the situation with complete professionalism and confidence. They quickly located the break, explained the cause of the problem, and walked me through the exact steps they would take to repair it.
The job was not simple, but they worked efficiently and with great attention to detail. I called last week about a completely nonfunctional outlet in my kitchen. Leah told me they were pretty booked up but would call next week. She called me yesterday, Monday and said they can come that day. Yay! They were able to fix the outlet then and there, did a great job and were very helpful explaining what needed to be done. They also checked an outlet behind my stove that I think never worked and told me when I'm ready they will come and fix that (I need a new stove and need that outlet to work).I recommend Fusion Electric, they are now my go-to place for all things electrical.
I locked myself out of my apartment like a silly goose. Called Best Locksmith service around 12pm and they arrived around 12:45, and the service was less than 10 min. Dr. A is the greatest physician I know, if you were ever able to get a Pediatrician to visit your baby while still in the hospital, then you know exactly what I am talking about. I’ve never met a doctor that would text you back after going through a life changing experience. All hours of the early morning and late nights knowing he has a 100 other children to care for. When I say he is like a Grandfather to my kids I mean that from the depth of my soul. He is an outstanding individual in our community as a Pediatric Doctor, as well as an individual outside of his white coat. My kids always feel at home when visiting Community Pediatrics. Nurse Milly, Nurse Ashley, they all have help me tremendously and I will never forget the support they have given me when they could surely see I was not myself.

I found a kitten in Matthews Muliner Playground and it looks really bad I took it home now I try to feed it but it refuses to eat and it looks like it's dying if someone close to me can take it and treat it before it dies ??

I was able to get an appointment for the next morning (a Sunday) for my dog. In & out in 45 min which isn't terrible. $119 for the initial visit & another $114 for 2 meds & a poo test. Can't complain I guess.
My kitty wasn’t eating anything for days and Dr.Bunning basically saved her life and was able to give me medication to help her eating again at the most reasonable price ever. Super friendly staff! Trimmed her nails too even after the big fuss my kitty made, yet they still remained patient with her. Would definitely come here again :))!
Best groomer (Starr) Ive ever gone to!! Did exactly what i asked when it came to the service and specifically haircut. He didn't even look like he wanted to leave when I went to go pick him up ?. He loved it there. She showed me around before I left him and he also doesn't like his paws clipped but for her it was no problem. She was extremely kind, very patient yet got him out within under 2 hours, very professional and treated my dog with love and respect! I will definitely be coming back when my dog Teddy needs another grooming :)!! Thank you!

I wanted to say that I was very pleased and happy with the quick service. Hector the tech was friendly and professional made this vist pleasant.The Vet was also informative, kind and made our pet feel better.

Velvet is a amazing healing clinic the staff are so great on what they do I did my lymphatic massage there after my surgery and the quality of care they provide is amazing definitely recommend 1000 times
I am walking out now from my deep tissue with Jeanette and WOW. I’m blown away. Most massage therapists don’t actually put in the work to help you release but Jeanette is otherworldly. I drove an hour based on a recommendation to see her and it was worth it. 10/10 i will be coming back

I’d never had a massage before, so I was a bit nervous at first. But from the moment I walked in, the staff were so friendly and welcoming, they explained everything clearly and made me feel comfortable. The place was really clean and relaxing. The massage itself was amazing — it wasn’t too rough or too soft, just perfect. I left feeling way more relaxed than I expected. Definitely want to come back and try it again!
I wanted to wait a few weeks before writing a review of this clinic. All I can say is that from the minute I called for an appointment, the entire staff has been so warm and friendly that I hope to never use another PT/OT clinic in my life!....I'm a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant and ruptured my quad tendon from my patella two months ago and I did quite a lot of research to find a qualified clinic to help me recover from such a devastating injury. My experience has been more than I had hoped for......My initial evaluation took place in a private room where I met Jeremy (Physical Therapist) who did everything correctly from his introduction to taking proper measurements. Jeremy has followed the surgeon's rehab protocol to the letter and is moving me through the process slowly and methodically. The rehab aides are always nice and friendly as they set you up for the next exercise or activity....This is a wonderful clinic in a nice part of town with friendly patients who are quick with a joke or supporting words. I'm really happy to have found this clinic. The whole experience has been wonderful and it all starts with the front desk.....Trust me when I say this, you will never find a kinder front desk staff in any office and that vibe just carries through the entire clinic. If you're considering this clinic, you can't go wrong if you decide on getting treated there and this is coming from a certified and licensed medical professional.
This is an idea place to come for physical therapy. From intake with the wonderful therapist Luis, to the care I received from their great team of therapists, I left feeling so much better than when I came in. I’m looking forward to continuing my healing process with NYC Physical Therapy!
I started here in February 2025, after Hip surgery. Every visit was very pleasant and the therapist (mine was mainly Manny and Glen) were all very friendly and professional. Never had a bad experience with any of them. Angeline always tried to give me the dates and times I needed. If I need therapy again I’ll definitely be back.

Olga is an ace diagnostician --she once correctly diagnosed a rare malady that my physician had misdiagnosed and was giving me the wrong medication for. Aside from her excellence as an acupuncturist Olga cares so much for her patients. She goes above and beyond, even offering support around personal issues, as she is a holistic practitioner and deeply understands the mind-body connection. She is also an herbalist who was able to wean me off dangerous medications and substitute supplements that have proven to be superior in treating my conditions. I have a complicated medical profile and Olga has been on top of it all, always giving me the best advice. I can't say enough good things about this practitioner--there's a reason it can be hard to get an appointment, she's in demand. And very worth the wait.

This is a really great driving school. Nancy was extremely patient & nice! She even helped me get a sooner road test and I did not have to wait a whole month! She was able to find a last minute cancellation and scheduled me for my lessons/exam within one week!! I took 3 lessons with Rose. Rose was very patient and fantastic, she gave me so much confidence. I took my road test on Friday in Yonkers and PASSED :)!!! Thanks to rose & Nancy for the seamless process !!!

Mr. Advani is hands down the best driving instructor out there! With over 40 years of experience, he’s incredibly knowledgeable, but it’s his light-hearted and funny teaching style that truly makes learning to drive a joy. He made every lesson fun, relaxed, and super informative. I felt confident, safe, and totally prepared for my test at 17 years old. Can’t recommend him enough!

A few months later I returned to Mr. Advani for a practice road test one day prior to my road test. Thanks to his extensive expertise and knowledge on the topic, I was able to pass first try without feeling nervous or stressed. I cannot recommend Mr. Advani enough.
The best driving school you could possibly go to. My instructor, Chiquita, took me from being extremely scared behind the wheel to passing my drivers test on the first try in only 7 lessons. The package I bought got me 7 45 minute lessons, the pre licensing course, a car for the road test and the road test appointment, very much worth the money you spend. The ladies at the front desk are always kind and remember me and my preferences when it comes to instructors. For sure the best driving school in the Bronx.

Very good driving school and highly recommend Vaswani Driving School to anyone. They were patient with me even after failing my road test the first time. My instructor took his time and gave me the confidence to improve and pass my road test the second time. I recommended my brother to Vaswani and he also passed thanks to vaswani
I only took two classes at crossway and passed on my first road test. Crossway made me feel confident and showed me knicks and tricks in how to pass the road test. They were also patient and made me feel like yes I can pass it. Will always recommend this driving school.
Valentine, Paul, and Joel were genuinely amazing instructors. In 2 days, they crammed a lot of vital techniques to teach me from someone with 0 manual experience or motorcycle experience to feeling much more comfortable with being able to ride one at my own pace. Can't recommend this place enough to learn how to ride.
I just passed my road test and I will always be grateful to Cheo, he was always patient and clear with his instructions, even using visual examples and explaining in both English and Spanish, to make sure I was understanding 100% and familiarizing me with the language. He was always encouraging me at every practice so I wouldn't overthink.
The office staff was also friendly and helpful.

I booked an individual lesson for 45 minutes with Henry. What an awesome and chill dude. I already had prior knowledge of driving, but he helped reinforce the basics of driving (3-point turns, parallel parking, stop signs, etc). He's punctual and really friendly! The whole drive was comfortable and I'd definitely book again because of him. Thank you Henry!
