My experience with Gianmi was amazing. She took my pixie length hair and transformed me into a waist length boho goddess. She took her time and provided her expertise to make revisions to our original plan. My hairstyle lasted over 5 weeks and I did not lose any extra hair when removing the style outside of regular shedding. The ambiance in her suite is calm and relaxing as well. I recommend her fully. You won’t regret it.

I like to go midday. I have been seeing Michael, who is great (the shape of the nail was what I asked for, the quality of the work is really good), and one day he was not there, and I saw Annie who is also great. I tried to go on a Tuesday and they were closed. So, I went to a place near my house (in CT) and I will not make that mistake again. I suggest going at off times when it is less crowded (and you are not overwhelmed with the smells).

He is a perfectionist and is great at what he does. I get my balalyage done and I go there every month for touch ups it’s absolutely amazing every time.

I have been coming here ever since my go to hair dresser Candy came over to this salon. This is a very professional but homey salon. Everyone is kind and they make you feel comfortable! My hair dresser Candy is very knowledgeable, always taking new courses and listens to what I want. She helped save me when my hair was shedding badly and this was before I had my child. Let me tell you the amount of barbers I’ve been to throughout my 24 years in America GoodFellas top it. Abe right away welcomed me inside and sat me down. His other barber Alex is also very welcoming and kind. It took Abe less than 45 minutes to cut my hair. Prices are also very fair. By far the best barber shop in the Bronx

Although it was a good experience, I got there at 10:15am and left at 3ish on a Saturday. I didn't have an appointment it was a walk-in, but I am in love with my short French duck it was definitely givin top tier . Just keep in mind when you go that you will be there for a little while. I just moved to Rockland NY and found an amazing lash lady. I tried booking an appt with her but she was all booked up. I came to the Bronx to visit my mom and as a last resort I booked my lashes with Christina (owner of Lashy Lee) I am so glad I did because she did an amazing job!! She was so professional, the place was really spacious, clean and nice. We ended up having a great conversation and the time flew by. I may have to abandon my lash lady and come here. I higly recommend this place. I can’t wait to go back.

I had the pleasure of booking a Brazilian with Sangira for my first time experience waxing. She was very sweet and informative as she explained the process to me, ensuring I felt comfortable throughout. This was my first time going to European Wax Center. After not getting waxed in years due to a terrible experience in the past, I was so nervous. I checked online and booked my appointment. The front desk receptionist was very nice. I was checked in and met with my wax specialist Nayalyn. Nayalyn asked me questions before we started like if this was my first time and I shared with her that is was my first at this place However I didn’t have good experiences in the past with wax. She shared with me the reasons why what happened to me can happen to anyone and she let me know that she would share ways to avoid it happening in the future. We got started and Nayalyn was so gentle and took her time with me. As I braced myself for any pain I noticed that because Natalyn talked to me the whole time it took the pain away. Once everything was done I felt like a whole new person. Natalyn walked me outside and shared with me a few products I could purchase to avoid any skin issues like I had in the past. I was able to book my next appointment and receive a discount since it was my first time. I also was given another discount if I refer a friend. Thanks Nayalyn for taking good care of me. I have been going to the wax house for about three years now, and it’s definitely the best decision I’ve made. My main girl is Penelope and she is who made me comfortable with waxing again after a not so good experience elsewhere. On top of that, the music and aesthetic of the place is top notch. They also aren’t stingy and offer seasonal deals! 5/5 every time I’ve gone and have yet to experience anything less than an excellent service from any of the ladies available. This was my first tattoo, and i feel very privileged to come here to Dudes tattoos for my first tattoo. He was very welcoming and very funny. He had laser sharp focus and did a phenomenal job. He was very considerate with the pain to fast accomplish time ratio. He was very attentive to my health, keeping me from passing out. The artwork he did on me was very detailed and got exactly what I wanted where I wanted. He also kept sanitizing every few minutes, so if you’re a clean freak I’d highly recommend this spot.
I had a piercing which I took out 2 years ago from somewhere in Baltimore NOT here or in any relation to this place . And I wanted it back , so I did research on piercing shops in the area . And out of all of them , this one sparked my interest and seemed a lot more professional . Upon entrance I noticed the beautiful art and cleanliness, I was greeted and told where I’d be waiting to get my piercing. I did not wait long , the young lady who did my piercing (frog eyes) was so knowledgeable and told me what was wrong with my previous piercing that I got done elsewhere , and ensured me that she’ll get it right . It was fast , and painless which i was surprised , she also followed the necessary steps to ensure proper hygiene . Very decent prices . I plan on going here if I ever want to get any other piercing . I’m still not a tattoo person but if/ when the time comes I’d definitely be giving them a visit for that as well. I give this place 5+ stars and I’ll definitely be back .

Best service i’ve gotten from a piercer. Savanna is the best piercer ive come across. Everyone’s really professional and clean. She’s always welcoming and warm even during the piercing process she makes sure that you’re comfortable, safe and ready. Her process is the easiest and her station is always being cleaned and sanitized. I’ve received Over 10 piercings from her including ear, belly, and nose piercings. No piercings that i’ve received from savanna has ever gotten infected and her half off piercing sales are a great way to add to my piercing collection.Her piercing assistant as well was very gentle and communicated through her entire process making sure i was okay. The whole shops environment is really an eye looker all the art and wonderful colors. The other shops tattoo artist David is also very nice haven’t had any services by him but always cracking funny jokes and making the environment light and easy. Would recommend coming here for a proper Needled piercing.

I called last week about a completely nonfunctional outlet in my kitchen. Leah told me they were pretty booked up but would call next week. She called me yesterday, Monday and said they can come that day. Yay! They were able to fix the outlet then and there, did a great job and were very helpful explaining what needed to be done. They also checked an outlet behind my stove that I think never worked and told me when I'm ready they will come and fix that (I need a new stove and need that outlet to work).I recommend Fusion Electric, they are now my go-to place for all things electrical.
I locked myself out of my apartment like a silly goose. Called Best Locksmith service around 12pm and they arrived around 12:45, and the service was less than 10 min. MaidPro is great. I have used their services for the past 6 months and I intend to continue on. They are consistent with phone/email communication and working with me to get everything in order for each appointment. We have had the same MaidPro representative (Joanna) to come in to clean our spaces and she is fantastic! We absolutely love her. In the event she is not available, MaidPro is able to provide other reps to come in. However, so far we have been fortunate to always have Joanna based on our schedules. This has helped us keep everything consistent.
Per the review here- I took off 1 star simply bc they have yet to streamline their client login accounts access. Right now you have to login into 2 different accounts for scheduling and payments.

I used to go to the enormous building on Bronx Blvd. occupied by ABC Carpet to shop for floor coverings. Recently, I needed wall-to-wall carpeting for the first floor of a house that I purchased last year. I knew that ABC Carpet had closed, so I searched the internet for alternatives and I found Morris Park Flooring right in my neighborhood. There I met Jimmy, the owner, who has more than 50 years of experience in selling flooring. He guided me to a decision on a high quality carpet and introduced me to Rafael an experienced installer who met me at the house to take measurements. Within a week the carpet was ordered, delivered and installed. I am completely satisfied with the carpeting, and the installation.

He provided us with a detailed estimate that we modified as needed. He helped us stay within our allocated budget by offering alternatives to our initial plans. For instance, instead of floor tiles, he suggested considering vinyl floors, and I couldn't be happier with the result. He never pressured us into particular choices; on the contrary, he was diligent in presenting us with different material options and providing contacts to various shops so we could see the materials and decide what worked best for us. We added a couple of extra things along the way, and Danny had no problem accommodating the additional work. Danny leads one of the most professional teams I have ever worked with. They have been working with him for over 20 years, which speaks to his leadership and fairness. They take great pride in their work. Two teams of two people worked on different parts of the kitchen in alternate days, and all of them were extremely respectful, hardworking, and went out of their way to ensure everything was completed according to our vision. They made it very easy for us to live in the apartment while the work was being done, taking every precaution to contain dust and dirt. At the end of each workday, they used a large vacuum to ensure everything was clean, allowing us to access the kitchen without tracking dirt around. The work was completed in three weeks, as Danny had estimated, despite our continual additions. We aimed for a clean, sleek, and easy-to-maintain look, and they absolutely nailed it. I will not hesitate to reach out to Kitchen Champion again for any other remodeling projects in our apartment.

Best groomer (Starr) Ive ever gone to!! Did exactly what i asked when it came to the service and specifically haircut. He didn't even look like he wanted to leave when I went to go pick him up ?. Velvet is a amazing healing clinic the staff are so great on what they do I did my lymphatic massage there after my surgery and the quality of care they provide is amazing definitely recommend 1000 times

I’d never had a massage before, so I was a bit nervous at first. But from the moment I walked in, the staff were so friendly and welcoming, they explained everything clearly and made me feel comfortable. The place was really clean and relaxing. The massage itself was amazing — it wasn’t too rough or too soft, just perfect. I left feeling way more relaxed than I expected. Definitely want to come back and try it again!
I wanted to wait a few weeks before writing a review of this clinic. All I can say is that from the minute I called for an appointment, the entire staff has been so warm and friendly that I hope to never use another PT/OT clinic in my life!....I'm a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant and ruptured my quad tendon from my patella two months ago and I did quite a lot of research to find a qualified clinic to help me recover from such a devastating injury. My experience has been more than I had hoped for......My initial evaluation took place in a private room where I met Jeremy (Physical Therapist) who did everything correctly from his introduction to taking proper measurements. Jeremy has followed the surgeon's rehab protocol to the letter and is moving me through the process slowly and methodically. The rehab aides are always nice and friendly as they set you up for the next exercise or activity....This is a wonderful clinic in a nice part of town with friendly patients who are quick with a joke or supporting words. I'm really happy to have found this clinic. The whole experience has been wonderful and it all starts with the front desk.....Trust me when I say this, you will never find a kinder front desk staff in any office and that vibe just carries through the entire clinic. If you're considering this clinic, you can't go wrong if you decide on getting treated there and this is coming from a certified and licensed medical professional.
I started here in February 2025, after Hip surgery. Every visit was very pleasant and the therapist (mine was mainly Manny and Glen) were all very friendly and professional. Never had a bad experience with any of them. Angeline always tried to give me the dates and times I needed. If I need therapy again I’ll definitely be back.

I've been going to Olga for acupuncture for many years now, and so has my elderly mother. Olga has treated me for many conditions and has had success where doctors have failed. She herself is an MD --a former neurologist who became an acupuncturist--so draws on her formidable medical knowledge in addition to her expertise as an acupuncturist; that's a rare combination. Olga is an ace diagnostician --she once correctly diagnosed a rare malady that my physician had misdiagnosed and was giving me the wrong medication for. Aside from her excellence as an acupuncturist Olga cares so much for her patients. She goes above and beyond, even offering support around personal issues, as she is a holistic practitioner and deeply understands the mind-body connection. She is also an herbalist who was able to wean me off dangerous medications and substitute supplements that have proven to be superior in treating my conditions. I have a complicated medical profile and Olga has been on top of it all, always giving me the best advice. I can't say enough good things about this practitioner--there's a reason it can be hard to get an appointment, she's in demand. And very worth the wait.
The reception staff is friendly and efficient. I had one of the best massages I've ever had in a long time. Robert is professional, respectful, and knowledgeable. I appreciate the information he shared to help me combat the affects of a mostly sedentary work life. Thank you immensely!

Mr. Advani is hands down the best driving instructor out there! With over 40 years of experience, he’s incredibly knowledgeable, but it’s his light-hearted and funny teaching style that truly makes learning to drive a joy. He made every lesson fun, relaxed, and super informative. I felt confident, safe, and totally prepared for my test at 17 years old. Can’t recommend him enough!

A few months later I returned to Mr. Advani for a practice road test one day prior to my road test. Thanks to his extensive expertise and knowledge on the topic, I was able to pass first try without feeling nervous or stressed. I cannot recommend Mr. Advani enough.
This is a really great driving school. Nancy was extremely patient & nice! She even helped me get a sooner road test and I did not have to wait a whole month! She was able to find a last minute cancellation and scheduled me for my lessons/exam within one week!! I took 3 lessons with Rose. Rose was very patient and fantastic, she gave me so much confidence. I took my road test on Friday in Yonkers and PASSED :)!!! Thanks to rose & Nancy for the seamless process !!!
The best driving school you could possibly go to. My instructor, Chiquita, took me from being extremely scared behind the wheel to passing my drivers test on the first try in only 7 lessons. The package I bought got me 7 45 minute lessons, the pre licensing course, a car for the road test and the road test appointment, very much worth the money you spend. The ladies at the front desk are always kind and remember me and my preferences when it comes to instructors. For sure the best driving school in the Bronx.

Very good driving school and highly recommend Vaswani Driving School to anyone. They were patient with me even after failing my road test the first time. My instructor took his time and gave me the confidence to improve and pass my road test the second time. I recommended my brother to Vaswani and he also passed thanks to vaswani
I only took two classes at crossway and passed on my first road test. Crossway made me feel confident and showed me knicks and tricks in how to pass the road test. They were also patient and made me feel like yes I can pass it. Will always recommend this driving school.
Valentine, Paul, and Joel were genuinely amazing instructors. In 2 days, they crammed a lot of vital techniques to teach me from someone with 0 manual experience or motorcycle experience to feeling much more comfortable with being able to ride one at my own pace. Can't recommend this place enough to learn how to ride.
I just passed my road test and I will always be grateful to Cheo, he was always patient and clear with his instructions, even using visual examples and explaining in both English and Spanish, to make sure I was understanding 100% and familiarizing me with the language. He was always encouraging me at every practice so I wouldn't overthink.
The office staff was also friendly and helpful.

I booked an individual lesson for 45 minutes with Henry. What an awesome and chill dude. I already had prior knowledge of driving, but he helped reinforce the basics of driving (3-point turns, parallel parking, stop signs, etc). He's punctual and really friendly! The whole drive was comfortable and I'd definitely book again because of him. Thank you Henry!
