65 Bay St, Jersey City“I recently moved from Austin where I was a member at an F45 for 3 years and a trainer for several months. I was worried about starting somewhere new but so far I love this gym. It is a VIBE!
If you’re looking to just drop in and mess around this isn’t the place for you. But, if you care about intentional workouts, proper form and attentive coaches then this is your spot. In Austin the F45 workouts almost never made me sore but with the direction of the coaches I can tell I am working and strengthening different muscle groups, even when using lighter weights.
I was surprised to see some of the bad reviews since I haven’t seen or experienced anything remotely threatening or negative. I think the equipment is in good condition and anything “dirty” is dragged in by members who don’t bring a change of shoes, and that is cleaned throughout the day.
I highly recommend this gym, but be prepared to get critiqued and for some real NY/NJ vibes from the music and the coaches - it’s awesome.“

I came in with a stubborn SI joint injury that wasn’t healing after six months of frustration and setbacks, and he helped me gradually rebuild both strength and confidence in my body. He’s thoughtful in his approach, really listens, and adjusts the plan as needed rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. I always felt supported and challenged in the right way, and I’ve made real progress because of his guidance. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone dealing with an injury or looking to get stronger safely.“

I have been a member of The Fort for two months now and I absolutely love it. The programs are thoughtful and affective and the coaches are all terrific. The time flies by and I genuinely look forward to all of my sessions. The price is beyond fair and worth every penny. If you are flexible and can manage to work out during off peak hours there are even more attractive packages that offer even more savings. I am so grateful to have found The Fort.“
