Awesome concept. Great people. Affordable and personable. As a runner looking to mix strength training into my regimen, the Fort has been giving me the exact balance I've needed. Highly recommend.
When I signed up, I had tried weightlifting a handful of time, but had always felt uncomfortable showing that ugly face that comes out when you're fighting tooth and nail to finish the rep. The Fort helped me get over that fear.The folks here expect you to do your very best, whatever that may be, and nothing less. The coaches are there to help you find the fight in you when you feel like you have nothing left to give. There have been countless times where I felt like I'm at my limit, but a few encouraging words unlocked some hidden energy store. This gym is hands down the best gym in New York. The small classes (max 4 ppl) allow for expert, hands-on training from the coaches so that you can improve your form and ultimately become stronger. The coaches are dedicated and motivated by your success. We’ve especially enjoyed the stellar gym and new equipment in their newly opened Garage. Thank you Fort for making me stronger! ?
