I cannot express enough how great this salon is! I have damaged/ short toenails, calluses, and rough heels from years of working on my feet and went in for a premium foot massage and a gel extension pedicure. It was a tall order and Lee, the woman doing my pedicure, delivered and then some! Christina is AMAZING! I went in with "pandemic hair" that was turning gray and that hadn't even been trimmed in over a year. My expectations weren't all that high because I'd really been neglecting my hair.Christina really pulled off a miracle! I left the salon feeling so beautiful (a rare feeling for me) and about 20 years younger. The transformation has been life changing! I'll definitely be going back!UPDATE: I was so impressed by Christina that I asked her to do my hair and makeup for my wedding. I couldn't have had a happier, more fun or better experience!First of all, being on a really small budget, I'd called a bunch of places (before meeting Christina) and Christina's prices were the ONLY prices that were REASONABLE. ALL of the other stylists and makeup artists, for me and my matron of honor, were asking for at least $750. Christina charged WAY less - including the trial for me. She was even okay with coming to my home, where my matron of honor and I were getting ready, on the morning of the wedding.Christina set the tone for the entire wedding day. Now I'm a really nervous person and I assumed I'd be extremely anxious on my wedding day, but Christina has such a calming, fun and confident presence about her that I couldn't help but feel the same way. That experience was priceless!Then there were her mad skills! She did my makeup first and she brought out something I didn't even realize I have - cheekbones! (See photo.) She also used false eyelashes, but they didn't look fake at all. They just made my eyes "open up" more if that makes sense and made even me look pretty! She did my best friend's makeup next and, well, my friend's beautiful anyway, but Christina made her look even MORE beautiful!Then she did our hair. I couldn't be happier with how our hair turned out. It's exactly what I'd envisioned in my head. Christina isn't just a stylist - she's a true artist. Of course you’re always a little hesitant with a new barber or a place you’ve never been before , You could end up in one of those “ what have I done!”Videos on YouTube! That was not the case with the Tuxedo Barber shop. The barber was very professional, outgoing, and kind. He asked what I wanted done I explained my desires, and he delivered 100% just like I was one of his regulars! My review is a year late, but massively owed!I had my chest done at Red Nova, and the level of sanitation, professionalism, skill, and compassion were above and beyond. I explained when I booked my appointment that I was needle phobic and that I was having the piercings done as a way to reclaim my body after SA. She didn't make me feel judged for my fears or my reasons. And she made me feel supported and empowered throughout my appointment. A years worth of healing through her instruction, and my piercings are straight, I have no problems with them, no crusties after 7 months (maybe healed before schedule? But im not stopping my regimen just to be sure.), and no more pain. I will absolutely be back to kristie and her team for every piercing need.I also went in yesterday to shop for jewelry during the sale and met Kate. She explained she is Kristies apprentice, and she is so sweet and knowledgeable! She held space for us to look around and shop. I was also able to run a piercing idea by her and get her opinion. I am excited to have something done by her as well in the near future!

The massage wonderful! I liked the atmosphere but it was a little hard to find even with GPS plus the place is really small. I had a sore back, neck, & shoulders. Although the massage was wonderful it didn't help my sore body. After the massage my friend felt my back and felt a huge knot on my neck and he had to work it out. It felt wonderful but didn't help my sore body.

The salon is bright and cheerful and very comfortable. My stylist, Taylor, is fabulous. My prior stylist (at a different salon) retired after 20+ years of doing my hair, so I had to find another Aveda salon/stylist. I was quite nervous having someone new do my hair. I've had color, foils, and cut....I am very happy with Taylor's work and with the salon in general. Big plus, they have ample parking!

She genuinely cares about you and made me feel safe and loved, not rushed and VERY knowledgeable in hair color and styles AND to top that off, she's willing to learn if you have an adventure for her! Really nice little place. Went in for a trim and decided to let her cut it off. I donate my hair about every 3-4 years to wigs for kids and she was kind enough to go ahead and cut it for me. I'll definitely go back not just for the hair part, but she also does Reflexology which my friend in Raleigh does. Having someone who does that in hendersonville made my day.

We have used Summey’s previously always for emergencies and they have been terrific. This year we had 2 issues within two weeks. We had a broken valve outside and a break in the house where it entered. Responded on a Sunday and came back on Monday to do the repair.Required lots of jackhammering and these guys were wonderful. They took care to be as clean as possible when working in the house. And they were efficient and thorough during the 2day process!Second problem was a flood in the pump-house which services 5 homes off a spring. Long story - short. Keith came out found the issue to be the spring and overflow - not a line break thanks heavens. All handled with knowledge and care! My Heros Twice in Two weeks! Highly recommend this company. What is unique about Kevin is that he REALLY CARES ABOUT YOU. He is not like large electrical companies that are impersonal and institutionalized. He also is extremely knowledgeable about EMF, RF radiation and EHS. I did a lot of shopping around before I picked Kevin. He is the ONLY electrician in town with the sophisiticated knowledge of how EMF, RF radiation can affect you and how to wire your house so as to minimize the health hazard. He also charges a modest amount and does not price gouge. He is honest, fast, efficient, hard-working and reliable. As he was leaving my property, he saw that a bear had got my garbage and had strewn it all over the copse. He doubled back and told me that he would pick up the mess and put it in a garbage bag to help me out because I am disabled and elderly. That is the old school service that is almost non-existant. So happy to have found this company. Our compressor went out and I originally was dealing with our home warranty company, but to no avail they couldn’t find anyone to come out. I found Brown Road on Google and because of their great reviews called them up. Preston was awesome, he came right out and diagnosed it. By the end of the week he was able to replace the compressor. I received an automated phone call letting me know that the technician was on his way and also a text message. He arrived shortly after that. Don was very kind and seemed concerned that my Air Conditioner had been freezing up since Friday and not working and today is Monday. Don went to work immediately to try to locate the problem. I have been going here since 2019 as recommended by a periodontist. My teeth have gotten so bad I can't look at an apple pie without getting a cavity. Dr. Morgan doesn't rush and he does the job right. I have lost a lot of trust with dentists for many reasons, but I feel good about going here. All of the staff is nice, and the pricing is fair. The dentist I went to before would be in and out of the room like the Lone Ranger, leaving me with unanswered questions, leaving me to ask myself, "who was that masked man?" My questions, and I have a lot, are answered here. The staff is patient with me since half the time I call them as much as my mother when I have a concern.

The staff were amazing: very friendly and attentive. They were so sweet to Cassie and took their time and explained everything that they were going to do for her, as well as all the upfront costs and all post treatments we needed to do when we got home. Dr Jones was kind enough to contact us the next day about her previous lab work that had been done. So, all in all, a great first visit, and I'm glad we have found a wonderful new vet family for our furbaby...❤️ ❤️

We have no complaints. They treat our pets very well and our Rottweiler will actually go in without a fuss. I just wish we could go in with them again, COVID has things all messed up. It's obvious the people that work there love animals.

I highly recommend Apple Valley animal hospital! They trade all my pets with kindness and professionalism. My dog recently had to undergo TPLO surgery, and she is doing very well under their care. The follow up after an appointment is very much appreciated! Everyone there is so nice and you can see they are there for the love and care of the pets!

Samuel responded the same day as my quote request and was over within a few days- more for my scheduling than his, as he could have been out sooner. Samuel and his father cut down a few trees for me the last two days and did a fantastic job! They cut up a good portion of the trees to restock my firewood, even stacked it for me, then took away the unwanted leftovers. You wouldn't even know the trees were cut, they did a great job on the clean up.They also did some brush clearing that was done quickly and looked great.I was originally only interested in lawncare, but after hearing his very reasonable pricing for the trees and lawncare to be started in the spring; I expressed interest in other services he provides to be done in the future. Samuel was happy to look at the many projects I presented to him during my original single quote time. I am rather far out from Asheville, so it's great to have someone who can do so many different projects professionaly come out to the country.The only slight issue has been with receiving information for future projects via email. I do think this is more of a technological issue rather than him not sending the info. I have told him my other projects are not immediate needs and to get to me when he can.I am looking forward to working more with Samuel in the future and will update my review as the projects progress.Services: Landscaping maintenance

Family Operated Business. Showed up on time! 2014- My Crawl Space was a mess. Builder left a truckload of Debris. Vents were not even affixed to the walls. Cracks and access points everywhere. Black Snake and Mice infestation. Standing water following storms. They removed debris. Sealed Vents, Cracks, Plumbing Pipe Points. Encapsulated the entire space, Remediated the Mold. Installed a Dehumidifier and Sump Pump. All at a reasonable price!This is Hard, Hot, Dirty Work, and they did an outstanding job!Seriously, try digging a 2 foot deep sump pump hole in a 3 foot high crawl space. These Guys were Great!
