“Our 17-year old furnace stopped working in late December. I tried fixing it myself through YouTube and HVAC forum research, to no avail. After buying and replacing a part, I finally broke down and called in reinforcement.Tom Schneider has entered the chat.I called him around 6:30 pm on a weeknight, and he was over to our home in Eden Prairie within 25 minutes. After 45 minutes of diagnostics, he had fixed our furnace.A few things I appreciated about Tom:1) He has a wealth of experience (35 years) working on heating and air.2) He is local and self-employed, not part of some big national operation. When I called his numer, he picked up (not some dispatcher from a remote location).3) He is honest and transparent. He did not even remotely hint or suggest that I should replace our furnace, which he could easily have done in light of its age.4) He talked me through what he was working on and what his solution was. He also told me what could go wrong in the future, for me to be prepared for that.5) His pricing was reasonable for an emergency call.“

Pete’s family installed our furnace 2 years ago. We just bought our house this year and wasn’t aware of how furnaces work. The air flow wasn’t working in our home therefore it was freezing all the time. I called a different company because they had a coupon for 60$ to come tell us what was wrong. They ended up charging me 215$. They lied through their teeth and potentially could’ve costed us thousands of dollars in the long run. Pete came and undid what they did and fixed up my furnace.
