I wasted years working out in the gym, hurting my knees and back, not knowing exactly what to eat or how to eat. I watched tons of YouTube videos and even hired a personal trainer at my local gym, but I never got the results I wanted. My cholesterol levels were elevated, and my blood sugar was in the pre-diabetic range. My doctor even suggested starting medication to lower my cholesterol.

MECA’s training approach is incredibly efficient and effective. I used to spend 1.5 hours, 5 days a week at the gym with little progress. With Mike, I spent 50% less time but saw better results in muscle gain, fat loss, and overall health.
Mike was simply exceptional. He was 100% focused on my form and movements during every second of my training. He wasn’t distracted, wasn’t looking at his phone-he was truly present, pushing me beyond my limits safely.
Some of the exercises were so simple yet incredibly effective. I was shocked at how much I could accomplish in just an hour with the right approach.
More than just looking better, my overall health transformed. My knee and back pain gradually disappeared, I started sleeping better and feeling stronger than ever, my cholesterol and blood sugar returned to optimal levels.
When I did my blood work after four months, I was amazed. My cholesterol and blood sugar levels were right in the center of the normal range-without medication.

“Kieana is an excellent trainer and so much more. She’s the best cheerleader, listener, and coach. Her approach is holistic and personalized. She’s been flexible to both my physical and emotional health. When my ankle is sore (from a previous injury) she’s adjusted the routine to low impact; and when I’m exhausted mentally or having a stressful day, she includes some ball slamming and a listening ear. I normally don't participate in review site, but I fell the Yelp review are not the full picture. My experience at Crunch Waterford location is outstanding and worth the cost they charge. The staff are great, helpful, and just nice to work with and visit. Especially, the highly recommended Spin Class instructors. 6/9/25: Update - I have raised the rating from 4 to 5, I have been going for over 3 months now and it has continued to be a friendly place that is well maintained.
I have read a lot of reviews and was concerned that the gym was going to be dirty and the aerobics machines were going to be offline. That was not the case I have been going there for a week and all the aerobics machines except for one treadmill were up. Of the steppers they have six three had service coming and everything else was running. I do not use the locker room so I can't speak to that but the rest of the facility was very clean some of the equipment is older and that is evidenced by rubber grips that are worn but in general it is a very nice gym. In addition the staff at the front is very friendly and very helpful.“
