7400 Wisconsin Ave, Bethesda“I can’t say enough good things about UP Bethesda and my trainer, Mo. He somehow managed to get me to stick with a gym and work out early in the morning for months — which is honestly not easy ?.
With his help on both exercise and nutrition, I’ve lost weight, met my goals, and feel so much more energized overall. The workouts are challenging but motivating, and I actually look forward to (finishing!) them.
Highly recommend if you’re serious about results and want a trainer who truly knows how to keep you consistent and accountable.“

20310 Seneca Meadows Pkwy Suite B, Germantown“My 6 (almost 7) year old daughter just recently started seeing Camille and she has been nothing short of amazing! Camille took on my daughter who was recently diagnosed with a rare bone disease called Legg-Calve-Perthes disease and has already helped her tremendously! Our daughter walked out of her first visit feeling comfortable and confident. Our daughter’s first words while walking out of her first appointment was “I really love her, do I get to see her again?” And that made us feel incredibly grateful and confident in Camille! Not only had Camille helped with our daughter’s condition but she also reached out to specialists to see if anyone could help take on our daughters case as we have not had much luck finding a specialist who would be as kind, caring and attentive with our daughter. Camille has gone above and beyond for our daughter and I couldn’t thank her enough for her kindness and compassion during this difficult time! Thank you so much Camille! You truly are an Angel! ❤️“

702 King Farm Blvd Suite 150, Rockville“Launch PT and Dr. Jowers are top notch. When I herniated a disc in my neck, I was so limited in mobility and had so much pain, I was on the verge of getting surgery. I came across Dr. Jowers and he got me back to where I was pre injury and gave me the tools to get better on my own, if and when I did reaggravate it. When I tore my MCL a few years later, Launch was my first call.“
“I started classes at Krav Oz because I had free time and wanted to learn self defense, and I personally think for everything they offer, the people you get to interact with, and the coaching it is more than worth it. The coaches are always encouraging and detailed in explanations for beginners. They also helped me find a good physical therapy place when I injured myself playing soccer. Which they weren’t obligated to do but they still were very helpful. Overall I’d say at the very least this is a place to check out and go to for a few months. I definitely would say it’s worth it. They got some great and genuine people on their staff.“

The culture here is very welcoming and supportive to everyone. I have met some really cool people and we've improved together. There is great comradery all around. CFH is a great representation of both the Herndon and Crossfit communities. 5272 River Rd Ll1, Bethesda“I absolutely love everything about this place. I’ve been able to reach my fitness goals through short, intense, and super supportive one-on-one workouts with truly amazing trainers and staff. No matter who I work with…Aasim, Will, Ian, or anyone else…the workouts are always customized to my personal goals. They push me in the best way, with tons of positive encouragement and genuine care.
They’re also incredibly mindful about proper form and injury prevention, which makes me feel safe and confident during every session. This has been such a great complement to my PT, and I honestly look forward to my workout every single week.
What really sets this place apart is how personal it feels. Even the general manager, Laura, knows who I am! The environment is warm and welcoming while still being professional and focused. And I’ll say it again…every single trainer here is top notch. They all cheered me on when I was able to complete my first pull-up!“

Everyone can work at their own level and have the benefit of being with workout buddies. Wide range of training equipment keeps the workouts interesting, effective and fun. The trainers are excellent professionals who go through an in-house program before working with clients to ensure coaching consistency.“

1800 Presidents St, Reston“I reached out to 1TO1 Fitness to fix my imbalanced set of muscles throughout my body due to some prior unfortunate circumstances. I had 4 weeks before an important lifetime event to get my body repaired for the rigors of distant travel and high activity at the destination. 1TO1 fitness rose to the challenge and created a program of 8 focused sessions. I told them my personality demanded a hands-on approach with a PT who was a "slave driver" and I was assigned Erich. Erich was unrelenting (in a good way) and he helped me to stretch my joints and strengthen my muscles, which is exactly what I needed. He also made my goals his 100% and kept me motivated telling me that I could make the progress I wanted with his help. That kept me motivated and working hard to make it so. And he was right! Thankfully, with his help, I stood straighter and became stronger -- exactly what I needed! It's amazing what we accomplished all we did in just eight weeks! Thank you 1TO1 Fitness and a special shout-out to Erich supported by Teresa (Reston Manager) and Stephen (set my schedule)! You all rock!“

9305 Old Georgetown Rd, Bethesda““I have been training with Eric for the past three months and I have been very pleased with the results as well with Eric's approach.I started looking for a personal trainer months before I met Eric because I had gained weight, had little energy, and felt that my fitness and health were not good.I wanted to get back into the condition that I had been in most of my life.I trained with a couple of other trainers who did not listen to my needs and requests and tried to get me to do exercises with which I felt uncomfortable performing. Before I trained with Eric I explained to him what my needs, interests, and goals were, and explained my medical history.Eric listened to me and formulated a program with which I felt very comfortable. Actually, his program was very demanding, but I only performed exercises with which I felt comfortable. I understood the reasons for each exercise, and understood the basis for the regime. After each session, I feel invigorated. I am always left with a sense of balance and accomplishment. My energy greatly increased after training for only a couple weeks. I have lost significant weight and I feel stronger and firmer. I believe that Eric's background as an internal medicine physician sets him apart from other trainers. Not only does he have the background to design a program that addresses my health concerns, but he has the 'bedside manner' of a physician who is concerned and truly wants to help his client. "“

“I toured this location today. It's beautiful and has a very calm atmosphere. Personally for me, that's not all that matters. It's always nice to be a part of a gym that has a good vibe. The staff here is amazing. Super friendly. Kristin gave me a tour today and she was very friendly and knowledgable, which honestly made me lean toward getting a membership. I wanted to check out the Gaithersburg location just to see what their window views looked like when on the treadmill, since I spend time in Gaithersburg as well, before I committed to a membership. I of course signed up after my Gaithersburg tour, but to be honest I'll probably be going to the Potomac location more. The Gaithersburg location is bigger, but the vibe at the Potomac location is beyond amazing in my opinion.“

“Before discovering Renee's class, I was unable to fully straighten or bend my left knee. Even something as mundane as bending my knee enough to get my leg into a pair of pants was painful. I had been going to physical therapy, which tends to focus more on strengthening rather than reducing inflammation & balancing the muscle groups. As an active person, this knee pain was limiting & frustrating.Initially I was a little skeptical about the way the class was laid out, but I also figured what did I have to lose? Like so many other women, I had run the gamut of things to try to relieve the pain. I also liked the idea that I had an opportunity to learn something new, add new tools to my toolbox & take my care into my own hands. I suspended my visits to my physical therapist while I took Renee's class. After the first week I started noticing a difference in the way my knee felt, in a good way. As the weeks progressed, Renee continued to add more modalities regarding inflammation reduction, stretching, strength & mobility, using a holistic approach to address all parts of the body, not just the knee. After completing the 8-week course, I can now bend & straighten my knee. I went back to my physical therapist for an evaluation & to get some measurements. My range of motion & strength increased quite a bit. Heartened, I continued with Renee's exercise classes for a few more months. I walk, swim, hike, garden & even did a tree-climbing adventure for my birthday this summer. I am back to my active life & am able to address any problems with what I learned in Renee's class. It takes work & commitment, and it yielded positive results.“
