“I have been going to Elite for over 8 months and it really is transformative. I have lost over 25lb and am in the best shape of my life. They really know what they are doing. It’s challenging but fun and a great community. I have always been into fitness and staying active and I could go to a big corporate gym but there’s something special about this smaller, family style gym that keeps me coming back. I love the accountability, the challenge and the pride when I feel when my trainer tells me I did a great job. I recommend Elite to anyone who will listen. I love it here for real.“

“Before discovering Renee's class, I was unable to fully straighten or bend my left knee. Even something as mundane as bending my knee enough to get my leg into a pair of pants was painful. I had been going to physical therapy, which tends to focus more on strengthening rather than reducing inflammation & balancing the muscle groups. As an active person, this knee pain was limiting & frustrating.Initially I was a little skeptical about the way the class was laid out, but I also figured what did I have to lose? Like so many other women, I had run the gamut of things to try to relieve the pain. I also liked the idea that I had an opportunity to learn something new, add new tools to my toolbox & take my care into my own hands. I suspended my visits to my physical therapist while I took Renee's class.After the first week I started noticing a difference in the way my knee felt, in a good way. As the weeks progressed, Renee continued to add more modalities regarding inflammation reduction, stretching, strength & mobility, using a holistic approach to address all parts of the body, not just the knee.After completing the 8-week course, I can now bend & straighten my knee. I went back to my physical therapist for an evaluation & to get some measurements. My range of motion & strength increased quite a bit. Heartened, I continued with Renee's exercise classes for a few more months. I walk, swim, hike, garden & even did a tree-climbing adventure for my birthday this summer. I am back to my active life & am able to address any problems with what I learned in Renee's class. It takes work & commitment, and it yielded positive results.“

“I've been working with Ken for about a month now and am already seeing results with my flexibility and overall conditioning. I have issues with one of my knees and Ken has been really great at finding exercises that work for me. I feel like he really puts in an effort to tailor my program to fit my individual needs and challenge me rather than a one size fit all approach. I find the workouts are fun and just fly by. “Dr. John Jowers is great. He is friendly, intelligent, and very efficient. I came to him last fall with a torn labrum and was hoping to do rehab instead of surgery in order to get back to throwing with high velocity. During my initial session, he listened to what my issues were and very quickly came up with ways to find my weak spots that weren't being addressed by the standard throwers ten exercises. After identifying my primary limitations, he immediately had several key exercises for me to do to specifically improve those areas. By my next session three weeks later, I had improved my previous major deficits and now had different limitations. He again identified them quickly and had a short list of exercises that would help. After one more session and some additional tweaks to my rehab routine specific to my issues, I was back to throwing at full velocity with no pain. The facility is very nice and features many of the latest technologies, but the best part for me was Dr. Jowers. He keeps up to date on the newest approaches and is very aware that nobody has time for a long list of general exercises. I really appreciated how he was able to focus precisely on the main issues and help me to overcome them quickly.“

“I've been traveling for many years and the one part of it I do look forward to is visiting Jiu Jitsu gyms, I see it as an extended family. Not all gyms are as welcoming as others but Noel and his family are great. They were very welcoming, the gym was very clean and spacious, and Noel provided excellent technical instruction mixed with some of the traditional dojo respect you see at Judo or Karate which was nice, and Noel was also an all around nice guy to chat with and very friendly. Thank you for your hospitality and I highly recommend The Foundry if you live in the area or if you're a visitor like me.“

“Love this place. Can get crowded but early mornings are good and between 1 and 4.Great equipment selection and it's well maintained. There are other amenities such as swimming, pickleball, basketball, sauna, turf field, hair studio and large locker rooms.“
