My grandson, Colton, has been getting his haircut by Octavio for a long time. He is outstanding. I've been only once to the shop. This is when I brought my grandson because my daughter was unable to due to suffering a stroke. Octavio not only did an outstanding job but showed extreme compassion and kindness by gifting his service! I was so touched by this act of kindness as was my grandson. I’ve been getting my nails done by Nancy once a month for about 6+ months and I am so happy with my nails every single time. She just did my baby shower nails and I’m obsessed! She followed my design requests and it turned out so cute. I am moving out of state soon so this was sadly my last appointment at her salon, but I would continue going there forever if I could. I had an amazing experience when I went to Whitney’s love nail bar!! I went to Faith And had an extraordinary pedicure done that I’ve never gone anywhere else. She really takes her time and is able to get into everything that she’s doing and makes you feel cared for. I’ve also gone and gotten an acrylic set from Faith and she is so meticulous when it comes to Perfecting her art and making sure that you were satisfied when you walk out the door. I will be a repeat client and will continue to have fabulous nails thanks to Faith!!

I love the mom and the girls at this salon. They are pleasant and hard working. I recently had to go back to fix my nails after I worked in the garden and messed up my nails after only 1 week of a manicure. They fixed it with a smile and did not charge me!! I think I will continue to give them my service!

We booked Patty McGuire's team for our recent St. Patrick's day wedding, and it was one of the best decisions we made during our wedding planning process! From the very beginning, communication was so easy and transparent. Everything was organized perfectly leaving me relaxed along the way. My artists were so kind and thoughtful, and went above and beyond to make sure everything would be flawless on my big day. My mom and all of my bridesmaids were so impressed with their skills/ knowledge and had so much fun chatting with them all morning. On a personal level, I have never felt more beautiful in my life and will forever be thankful that they were able to make me feel that way on my wedding day. Wow Wendy! I didn’t know my skin could feel so good! I visited Wendy for some advice on skin and makeup since I’m considered “advanced age”. I’m not a girlie girl and fell down the rabbit hold of using social media for skincare advice.
First, I got a mini facial which was so relaxing. Wendy asked me what kind of products I was using and filled me in on what was and wasn’t good for my skin. The bed was heated and I really enjoyed it. My skin was dry and the products she used really moisturized it and plumped it up (in a good way).
After that, we went through my makeup stash. There was no judgement. She asked what I hoped to get out of using that product and why it was good (or not) for my skin. I had her teach me how to apply my makeup (see the comment above about not being a girlie girl). I don’t like to spend lots of time on that, so I told her, and she gave me the short version of what to do.
Overall, it was a great, relaxing, and informative experience and I will be returning. Thanks Wendy!

The artist I worked with was extremely sweet and took his time to make sure that the art was perfect before we went ahead with the tattooing. The art came out beautifully and did not take too long to do. The studio was kept well cleaned and organized.

Service techs showed up quickly, gave me an estimate, started working right away. Had my sewer line unclogged and flowing after cleaning out the root in the drain. Next day another tech showed up with a camera to inspect the entire line to the street. Showed me where the roots were coming in within minutes. Great service. A little costly but they did discount the job upfront. But you couldn’t ask for much more they got the job done quickly. After watching them I was glad I hire them rather than renting one from HD. Without the power feed in and out I would have been there fighting it all day. Glad I called. Would definitely recommend them!

We were interested in carpet And Brian essentially sent me to carpet college with all the questions I asked. We wanted the best product for our needs and he ultimately delivered. The quote was so reasonable it made it clear how insane the cost was for our carpet 15 years ago with Luna. You know when you get that good feeling about doing business with a company because of their complete transparency. The process was smooth, he showed up early for our appointment at the home, measured and issued a quote for 3 tiers of carpet for us to decide upon. The installers came, moved very heavy furniture after I disassembled some necessary pieces and tore out the old and put the new stuff in quickly and with great precision. The end product is better than I hoped. It's wonderful to walk on in the morning when I wake up. Will absolutely use the flooring guys in the future for my needs when I remodel my basement.

Our buried pipeline from the sump pump outlet to the drainage area in the far back yard was plugged. It was a couple decades old and the old corrugated pipe was crushed in at least one place. Ever Seal came out and did some measurements and assessment of the back yard, and then provided us with a price estimate. It was reasonable and he said they hand dig and won't damage our sprinkler system. Another company told me that they use a trenching machine and that I'd have to hire a sprinkler company to be there the same day to repair sprinkler pipes the trenching machine would rip through. That was over the top in my mind! Years ago I had hired Ever Seal at another location for a smaller job and they did excellent work for a fair price. They did that again here today! Everyone I spoke with, including the workers who did the digging and pipe laying, was knowledgeable, and very pleasant. I highly recommend them!

Shawn of Diamond Cuts came to my rescue when my snow removal service didn't remove snow at my investment property in Oswego. When I reached out on Yelp, Alisha from the company called and assured me my property would be taken care of. I then talked to Shawn and clarified my needs and gave the property description. Mind you, all this was happening around midnight! So Shawn plowed my property in the very early morning hours before my tenants woke up to start their day before they were inconvenienced any longer or their safety put at risk any further. The communication and response from this company is excellent. I'm working with them now to transfer my property into their hands. Vince and team did a great job installing some new arborvitae along with adding some fill to the area, edging, and deep mulch to the entire yard. Everything looks great, and the neighbors are happy with the way it looks from their yard too!

I was very happy with their tree service after damaging winds knocked down trees that affected my property. Called and asked for quick service, if possible, and received a rapid response with quote and scope of work etc.. Ask for Pepe.
Armondo and his crew are magic men defying gravity. They walk up trees and are able to use their extensive knowledge of rigging to lower the sections of the tree without causing any damage. They came out and were able to remove a huge tree that had fallen over and was being held up by the other tree. Was very worried it would damage the fence and neighbors shed. They came on time, in the rain, made short work of this monsterous 80' tree that was hanging on by a thread!
Can't say enough about how great they are! HIRE THESE GUYS!

Excellent service from start to finish. After a storm, a tree fell on my property, and I called Manny Tree Service. They arrived very quickly, with all the necessary equipment, and were extremely professional. They removed the tree safely, taking care not to damage anything else, and left everything clean. Communication was clear, the price was fair, and the work was impeccable. 100% recommended for any tree trimming or removal service.
Juan Lopez came out and took down 3 of our dead catalpa trees. They removed all 3 in less than an hour. They put them through their wood chippers and everything was completely cleaned up. They came the next day and put in 5 new trees. Juan and his crew are very tidy and efficient. We will hire them again for any future services.

I had the worse MIGRAINES ever to where I would lose eye sight in one eye and sometimes even blackout. Coming here made a HUGE difference Dr. J worked a miracle and I use to count the days that I got MIGRAINES to how many days I haven’t received one I LOVE HERE IT!!!! Dr. Thomas Kinsella is simply amazing. I came in with shoulder pain and a very tight back as well as fighting some other issues. My shoulder and neck pain is gone and he has helped me progress in getting through another injury. I can’t recommend him enough and his practice. It’s hard to find great physicians and Thomas is one of them.

Dr.Wheatley is very kind and cares for his patients he is also very honest if he doesnt feel like he can help he will let you know. But I came for tmj and he has helped me feel relief since the first visit. And the adjustment he gives is so relieving as well. 10 /10

Dr. Marite is truly amazing! She treats me and both of my children. We’ve been seeing her since my oldest was 8 months old, for bowel issues that continued into potty training years. Dr. Marite never gave up on trying to figure out the cause of these issues. My son now has regular BM’s and is healing! She listens and cares deeply for her patients. We love her and are dreading the day that she retires because she will truly be missed by us!

Thank you so much for helping me with my Alaskan Husky, Kona. Everyone was very nice, very calm. They called me to come in earlier due to cancellations and were very attentive. They listened to my concerns and were able to assist; not overly pushy or salesy like other vets we've been to in the past. We were in and out within in an hour which was amazing. We've been utilizing John's kenneling services for probably over 10 years now. When we have picked up the dogs, they are always well and happy to see us. Also the prices are very competitive and the facility is local to where I live. He has also been happy to do last minute accommodations when i have had to do that. It is not a fancy dog hotel nor are there a bunch of bells and whistles but John is attentive, professional and calm which is a good quality to have when working around dogs. He also offers other services like dog walks during boarding and grooming. When i come to pick up or drop off I see him working the grounds or busy in the kennels. His home is right on the property which is nice. Our latest dog was not well socialized at first and not great with men but has had no issues with him, although jokes about his barking (which is very true). Some things to keep in mind...make sure to offer specific instructions (and write down) if your dog has special needs like feeding times, medication, etc. Also take note of the hours. One day and on weekends he closes earlier than normal. (Sunday's pick up is only an hour long). Finally if your dog goes to the bathroom on the property and you don't have a bag, let John know where it is and he'll gladly pick it up for you. I will happily continue to keep boarding my pets here.

My mom and I came here not too long ago, my mom is a regular and the owners are the sweetest. It was my first time getting a massage and this place is MAGICAL. They do everything up to your comfort level. If you ask them for something they make sure to give it to you or accommodate with what they can. Went in on 11/14/24 for a surgical procedure with an overnight stay to be watched. I see all the bad reviews but most appear to be for the ER which is probably not equipped to handle the large population in Aurora overflowing their doors. Every single staff member I encountered was great. From Rachelle, I believe her name was, in outpatient reception to all the nurses, aides, doctors and hospitalities. Additionally, loved the morning and evening prayer over the loudspeaker and jingle when a baby is born. I would absolutely go to Mercy Ascension if I had the option to be in a hospital again.
Dr Chakour takes the time to answer all your questions and concerns. Also, his staff are the nicest people. Everyone truly cares about your health. I would give FVO a 5-star rating.
A Touch of Ginger [Kristen] has been such a huge help with issues specific to my overall health and wellness. She is an enthusiastic listener, a warm person and she shares knowledge around Chinese medicine and acupuncture, as she customizes my treatments. I’ve enjoyed improved health during the past nine months and have learned a lot as well! I encourage you to have a conversation with someone from A Touch of Ginger and give acupuncture a try. The staff genuinely cares about their clients!
For the cost of just under $80 per session, she really does more work and cares about you and your pain level. She's grrrrrrrrrreat!
I have been going for 10 + years. My favorites are foot massage and 30 minute combo. I have done every 20 minute massage when shirt in time. I do fully clothes acupressure and to me way better than spa massages with out clothes. What it does for me releases pain point, relaxes muscles and lowers anxiety.
