The cost was fair, the products excellent, the installation professional, and the result as effective as it is beautiful. Their price came in best (lowest) for the highest-grade products and all the other elements were achieved without fail. The communication was excellent. Questions before and along the way were always patiently answered and the answers always turned out true. The available options, products, and recommendations were fully explained. The owner was there to explain and to learn wants, and was also on-site, on the roof working, around the yard, making sure things were done right. He went out of his way to get the shingles wanted when others said they were unavailable, pulled the permit included in the price when others would add it on, and was there to make sure the ordered items and their colors were spot-on before anything incorrect was installed. When it was all done, with a good post-work clean-up, neighbors came, saw, and wanted the contact information, and the owner contacted to ask what was thought of the work and to say he is still available for any more questions. The service was friendly and fast, and the company is recommended for both roof and gutters, which look fantastic. A & J won the job after obtaining several quotes. They were not only the most affordable, but provided great customer service, with one team member throughout the process and present for the install crew. The only regret is not using A & J for siding replaced a couple of years ago. This is a fantastic company to work with. The project was done in one day and looks great. Everyone was so kind and explained any questions. After a home expo, one team member knew all of the moves in detail, worked closely with the insurance adjuster, and was great at communicating updates. The service was pleasing and a return customer is looked forward to. A & J Roofing is the real deal. With 20+ years in construction, this is the way you run a business. The owner is extremely honest, knowledgeable, and well involved in day to day operations. This is a company you don't look away from if you want honest, trustworthy, and professional work done. They patched existing roof vents and cut in ridge venting. They also did gutters, downspouts, and some facia work. All of this was done out of pocket and well worth the money. The owner has an amazing team behind him.
