This was the most professional, organized, efficient contractor we have worked with. A worker showed up before the full crew and taped paper down in all walk areas in our condo where they would walk, then he covered all exposed furniture in each room where work would be. When the full crew showed up they put cloth down outside my windows in the common outside hallways. When they finished they removed everything and wiped down counters inside and cleaned all the new windows. Great job!
I had the best time shopping at Sephora with Mika and Mira. I spent almost 8 hours in the store shopping for foundations, concealers, blushes and oh so many more. Mika guided me throughout the store, so I could find the best foundation, concealer and blushes that fit my needs and matched my skin. Mira also showed me some really great hidden gem concealers that I absolutely loved.
Both women were incredibly kind to me and patient. It was so much fun learning about makeup and finding what works best for me. I’ll always be grateful to Mika and Mira for working with me towards the ultimate beauty goal - buying makeup that fits you. I learned so much from them and dabbled in many good brands.

Art's Tree Removal Service is fantastic. John was very knowledgeable while discussing our questions on removing several very large Bismarck trees that had been damaged. The removal went exactly according to plan and the cost was very reasonable. I will use them again.

I had pretty much lost all hope of staying vivid after my hair seemed to be falling out and in horrible shape. I had been planning on just going brown to be done with it and letting my hair grow out while I suffered in my natural hair color, but thankfully that was not the case! Lynn assured me that I could still be vivid while also growing my hair out and staying healthy. She took something I was dreading and instead gave me the beautiful purple/blue (blurple) hair that I wanted!
Stylist: I went in for a grey touch up, but ended up with partial highlights. Mina was my stylist. She was lovely. She and her husband work hand in hand. I felt very welcome. They offered me Turkish coffee. I had had it once before in a Turkish restaurant, but this one was so much better. Delicious! They even offered my husband a cup while he waited. The attention to details is fantastic. My highlight was a little too light for my liking. Mina was so kind and toned it for me, no problem. She also noticed the hair cut I had gotten 2 weeks ago was bad and trimmed and fixed it for me. Mina blow dried and styled my hair. It turned out beautifully. I highly recommend Smyrna’s Hair Salon. I changed from tape-in extensions to Isle and her SRQ brand sew in weft. The hair feels just like my own. She matched the color to perfection. The weft stayed perfectly in place for 6 weeks. My hair grew out about 1 to 2 inches with no hair breakage of my own hair. She knows her hair. Will be client for years to come.

I have an asymmetrical mix of curly textures with variable shrinkage. I also have short hair, so any haircut could potentially lead to 2 months of baseball caps. The process of finding a new stylist is typically 80% terrible and 20% not awful but not great. I had a series of baseball cap haircuts before I found Curls Like Crazy. Tami is an artist. Not only did I feel pretty the few weeks after my visit, but it's growing out so cute! Curly Girlies, it's tempting to visit a cheaper salon and just take the L when growing out a bad cut. However, if you find the right stylist, you won't need to go as often. You'll also get some sass in your step, and you can't really put a price on that kind of confidence.
Julio is the man! He listened to my hairstyle needs, he was very clear on offering options and giving examples to make sure he gave you the cut you wanted.
Loved his service and how he connects with you - a genuine soul you want to have cut your hair and spend time with.

Loxy is a fabulous colorist and stylist! I was desperate for a hair fix and she opened early to come to my aid. I arrived at Trio with over-highlighted, frizzy curls. She took the time to discuss what I like about my hair and what I considered problematic. I told her my highlights now looked pure blond and I wanted more contrast while my roots were far too grown out. I also made it clear I didn't want to spend half my day in the salon. She gave me partial highlights and lowlights, toner, a trim and with her magic scissors took out a lot of the bulk I'd been carrying. Before starting she made sure to tell me what each step would cost so there were no surprises. I love my hair and got many compliments the rest of the day. My hair looks beautiful and feels healthy and silky. I highly recommend Trio and definitely recommend Loxy!

Helene is brilliant! I found this gem on spaweek.com and am SO HAPPY with my treatments. I had a combination massage and facial, which was quite a bargain. She started with a nice body scrub, then a very relaxing deep tissue massage. She really did an amazing job on my 'stress knots'. After the massage (I was in Heaven) she cleansed and moisturized my face and décolletage. My skin GLOWED, and my body felt like a limp noodle when I left. Complete BLISS!! Thank you Helene! Sam is fabulous and super knowledgeable of all things skin and she has a solution to anyone’s skin issues, always! We have done a series of BioRePeels and RM for under my chin. The peels were great bc I didn’t look like a burn victim but still helped with shrinking my pores and tightening my skin and the RM helped with reducing the fat under my chin. I also highly recommend her skin care at home products. I have not found any products more effective than the products she promotes. They are lightweight but still let my dry skin retain moisture. I can’t live with out them!

I had a cute little flash tattoo of a black cat done here during the PINC Street fair in December. All the staff are lovely and they were very clear on my after care, they even emailed me a few weeks later to see how it was healing. Never had that from a tattoo place before. Only problem for me now is that they’re in Sarasota and I’m in the uk! Next time we come over will be booking a repeat visit for sure. Great tattoo place.

We had major blockages in our indoor waste pipes. The problems were many and we were shown camera views of the sludge. Steve found the problems and Rodney fixed them. Both techs were excellent. We also had our 50 year old cast iron pipes cleaned out, etc. It was expensive, but what price is peace of mind?Need to take care of pipes, people!!

Had electrical outlets not working today. Called Care which is our go-to electrical company of choice for more than 13 years. They were able to come out after finishing another job in just hour or so. Found the issues and fixed it fairly quickly. These guys are just good! We have had several electricians with Care come out over the past 13 years and they all have been professional, competent, and very easy to deal with.
Can’t recommend the company enough. Wish they had done the electrical wiring for our new home. Not sure what the cost will be since they email the bill vs looking for payment at service. But they are worth every penny.

Everything about working with Randy was great. Took his time to give us an accurate quote, which was lower than everybody else. The bonus was the service was great. He kept in touch via text to notify as when the carpet was on its way, when it arrived, and when it would be installed.
Everything was perfect. He put new carpet on our stairway, and the pattern match perfectly all the way up. We ordered an area rug that looks beautiful. He came and put it himself and even vacuumed it.

They removed a little over 600 sq ft of old nasty carpet and padding in two rooms and cleaned the concrete. I could not have asked for a better company to buy our upstairs carpet from. The owner George was so professional and kind. He showed up on time to measure our playroom, ordered the carpet and had it installed so quickly. The price was excellent and less than I had expected. The quality of padding and carpet are superb.
When George was not in the office to answer my questions, Mindy the office manager was was able to assist me and/or she would contact George immediately and call me right back. The installers showed up at the time they said they would and it only took them less than 2 days to finish the job. They cleaned up the scraps and even left us extra carpet.
We could not have asked for a better experience and I would use Classic Flooring and Design again with out any hesitation.

PDR Kitchen & Bath recently remodeled my kitchen in Palmetto. By comparison to other local companies I researched, this one wasn’t the least expensive, nor was it the most expensive, but I selected them based on a strong recommendation from neighbors who had an incredibly beautiful wine room built by PDR.
The design process was collaborative and relatively quick. The designer asked good questions that helped me create a more contemporary, more functional space (for example: drawers for pots and pans, microwave oven and trash receptacles).
Unfortunately, it took a while to actually get on the books to start the project, but my overall experience was positive.
My project manager was communicative, professional and personable. He provided timely updates as the project advanced, promptly notified me of schedule changes and ensured adherence to the strict guidelines and covenants of my condominium’s HOA.
I had zero complaints about any of the subcontractors. They were all first class.
The truth is that renovations are always disruptive, they often take longer than you hope they will and punch lists exist for a reason. IMO what set PDR apart is that the challenges were few and they worked hard to resolve them when they happened. I greatly appreciated the personal involvement of the owner, Tom, who partnered with my project manager, Bob, to make sure I was 100% satisfied at the completion of my project.

We've been in the house for 18 months and it is phenomenal. We started the process with Ryan and an architect he recommended in late 2020--the worst possible time with COVID, inflation on the rise, a change in flood zone designation during the design and two hurricanes during the construction. Building a house is challenging in the best of times but this was insane. Ryan and his team met the challenge. Everyone who visits the house comments how much they love the house, from friends and workers to the delivery people. It is a beautiful piece of architecture exquisitely executed with amazing attention to detail. We've gone through two hurricanes since moving in and the house suffered no damage, even though we are locate directly on the water. Overall we have to say that Nautilus has been a great pleasure to work with and we would recommend them without hesitation.

Pestgaurd has done an amazing job for me for the past 4 years. They originally came out the first time I called them when I realized I had termites. They came to my home and did an inspection to identify which type of termites.I had. They then tented my home, and I have had not one termite or issue since. That was over four years ago. I now pay a very reasonable price for a lifetime transferable warranty. A yearly termite inspection is included in the warranty, and treatment or a retenting is all done for free if they find any more signs of termites. But they did such a good job that hasn't happened! My thanks to Pestgaurd!!!

In the middle of the consultation, Felix explained their professional mold cleaning process and why immediate mold removal was necessary. Brown's Tree Service trimmed the Oak trees and removed three other trees that needed to be removed at our church. The crew was on time and completed all of the work that we had asked for. All the debris was hauled away and the stumps ground down for the trees that were removed. Our trees really look great now and the worked greatly improved the visibility of the church. When we have future tree work to do we will certainly contact Brown's Tree Service first.

I had a different dentist that had a terrible attitude with me because I did not follow her recommendation. That lead to me not going to the dentist for a while. I just had a filling come out and needed a dentist. My wife and kids use Dentistry on Fruitville so I figured they couldn’t be so bad. I was able to schedule an appointment online with no hassle. When I arrived for my appointment I was greeted by some of the most friendly staff I have ever met. They made me feel like I have been going there for years. They even put me on the schedule the following day to have my filling replaced. I am super happy with my experience as everyone there seems to actually care about their patients.

I had a great experience with Southgate Vet. This is my first winter living seasonally in FL with my dog and when she needed a sick visit, I called a couple of different offices. Lorrie was very pleasant and helpful to get me connected and schedule a next day appointment. Jorge was very thorough taking my dog’s medical history and clearly communicated next steps. My dog was seen by Dr. Casey, who has wonderful energy and clearly stated options and the treatment plan. Happy to be connected to a great office!
Was very impressed at the time spent talking and getting to know Dr. Christina, and her staff. It’s obvious they love their jobs, and all the fur babies in their care. So glad we switched vets. Looking forward to a long relationship with this clinic. ?

5 stars for sure .... I had a very sick cat with what turned out to be a hefty infection and attempted to find a practice that would take us on short notice. Although initially the next available appointment was 2 days away, office person Kat called me within a few hours of making the appointment to have me come in later today rather than wait for the original appointment due to the situation. She expressed compassion and concern for both my cat and myself. Thank you Kat for advocating for us!
Everyone is always so sweet and interactive with the animals. Always accommodating and very professional. They make the animals and their caretakers very comfortable. Ive trusted them for many years and quite a few pets!! ??

The vets and staff are very caring. My dog has reactive issues because of an attack by an off leash dog as a puppy. They where very accommodating to his issues.
Definitely the most pleasant vet visit i've ever had. Most vets I've been to take forever to take the dog in and hold him for hours for simple exams but not AMC Rosemary!! I am here out of town and flying home tomorrow but needed my dog to be seen for an emergency visit. They were able to squeeze us in same day even though they were full. We arrived to a not crowded office (only one other patient at the time). Staff were super friendly. I noticed how quick each of the two dogs in front of me were seen. My dog was in and out before his appointment time even started!! (We showed up 15-20 minutes early and were seen almost immediately and procedure finished super quickly). My baby is all better now :)) Would HIGHLY recommend this practice. Wonderful experience compared to most vets and hospitals that make you wait unnecessarily for hours - very smooth process!!

I found Doggo Den after trying two other groomers in the area that I hadn’t been crazy about. After our first visit, I knew my search was over! Laura does such an amazing job and goes out of her way to make my skittish pup feel safe and comfortable. Everyone here is so kind and helpful. 10/10 experience every time!

Pawlished Pup is my absolute favorite groomer to date here in Sarasota. They are kind, gentle, patient and take time to groom my 16 yr. old poodle with such great care. I also had to reschedule this week as I made a mistake and got my days wrong and they rescheduled without an issue, which I so appreciated as I have been dealing with so much. Overall, they are just fabulous. Highly recommend!
I have two anxious dogs, one tends to get aggressive during distress and the other hates loud noises. Alfonso was able to take care of both my dogs and gave them excellent haircuts. I don’t trust just anyone with my dogs but from the moment Alfonso arrived I could see he had experience handling dogs, he walked my dog on the leash to get him used to him prior to the groom. Would highly recommend. It is not easy to find someone willing to handle difficult dogs!
I can’t say enough good things about Julia. My doodle, Cooper, absolutely adores her…and that says everything. She’s gentle, patient, and so skilled. Cooper always comes home perfectly groomed (clean trim, soft coat, and tidy paws).
Booking is easy, she’s punctual, her space is spotless, and she always asks about preferences before starting (length, face/feet, mats, etc.). I also really appreciate the safety and calm vibe. Pricing is fair for the quality and care she gives.
If you’re looking for someone you can trust with your pup, Julia is it. Five stars from us and a happy tail wag from Cooper!

We love Bella’s Grooming! I take my old dog and my puppy at the same time. And every time I pick them up they look brand new and so happy! I’m so glad to have finally found a groomer I can back to time and time again. Really sweet and amazing people and you can tell they love all their four legged clients :)
I took my senior dog here to get groomed and she looks amazing! She was so matted. They did an excellent job on her. She has a tumor on her leg and they shaved around it and bandaged it up! Very professional!! Highly recommend! Will be back!

Going to the Iyengar Sarasota yoga studio is never been a disappointment. I have always gained more for my practice, knowledge of yoga and my own self understanding of who I am after taking a class with them. If you have never taken a class with an Iyengar instructor/teacher try it at least once and then make your own assessment, it’s worth the treat for the experience. ( I am a Iyengar student/practitioner , so I have a great biases for the style)
By far the best yoga studio I’ve been to. There are so many different classes to choose from for all different levels. My favorite is Yoga Sculpt. It provides me a great workout with fun music. I definitely recommend this place!

I have found so much restoration and peace at Bhavana. I love the variety of offerings from yin to sound healing. My soul feels nourished and my body feels revitalized when I leave this studio. All of the teachers are inclusive in their language and give students a lot of freedom to explore, introspectively. I also appreciate the wide range of props available :) I'm a huge fan of the Tuesday evening yin class. I've noticed my sleep has gotten deeper and I've found a deeper sense of relaxation each time I attend. Thank you for holding space in such a beautiful way for your community! <3
it's hard for me to get into working out as I have social anxiety and gyms aren't my thing. I've found that pilates and yoga have helped me in easing myself into getting my body active. the dopamine high after taking classes at shack is insane. more specifically, i'd like to give a shoutout to Kalesta. She's an amazing instructor and all around great person with beautiful vibes. Uplifting and encouraging, while doing a great job at challenging everyone in the room. :)

I've been seeing Dr. Frank off and on since I had plantar fasciitis in 2023. I am 60+ years old playing competitive pickleball so I have nagging injuries and issues at times. Unlike other places I have been, Dr. Frank is hands-on and gets right into the problem area. His comprehensive knowledge of the body is impressive and he knows where to apply the pressure, get the pain released and have me back at living fully once again.

Tony's team at Gulf Shore Physical Therapy consist of physical therapist Antoinette, Eric, and Daniella. The are two admin that work the front desk, Linda and Maria who are professional, helpful, and friendly. The entire group work together as a team, and have postive attitudes. All the therapist's knowledge and education are up to date, so they can find solutions for your treatment and pain. Tony has the ability to think outside the box which helps him make conclusion from his experience. He was able to see that my pain was not just my knee but also my hips contributing to my pain. I found out he was correct after x-rays were taken of my hips at my doctor's office. All the therapists are patient with the treatment process and remains compassionate when working with challenging patients, like me. They set realistic goals for me that were achievable. All the therapists had effective communication with me and my doctor by providing progress notes. What I found was the entire group genuinely care, have compassion and empathy. They understand how you feel, and they try to see your situation from your perspective. I highly recommend Gulf Shore Physical Therapy because they provide the best care.

What an incredible place! After I started scheduling regular massage with Jake, I had the most amazing results with pain relief and lasting structural changes which improved my walking and what I was able to enjoy. I'd had pain and restriction in my legs and hips for a few years and I'm clear now and even able to dance. Jake's knowledge and practice is the best I've ever known. Grateful!
My allergies are gone! Can't say enough good things about Panyada. She is so thorough, caring, patient, kind and compassionate. And, on top of that, her office is beautiful and you feel a sense of calm as soon as you walk in the door.
I suffered so badly from allergies, I was convinced I had to move from Sarasota. But, after just my first visit to Panyada, no more allergies! It's like a miracle.
Next visit is for some recent lower back pain. There's no doubt she'll help me with that as well.

Best money I’ve ever spent. I thought I would need surgery for my spinal stenosis. I was in agonizing pain. It took a few sessions for it to heal but it was worth every penny. Dr. Liang is truly a professional at what he does. He knows what he’s doing! And so does Dr. Carlson! I would trust anyone at this practice, they’re all great! Highly recommend.
After experiencing Pain in low back and hip for over 6 months, my Partner went to be treated at Natures' Wisdom Healing Center. Mary is efficient, pleasant extremely skilled and experienced. In my most recent session with Josh, he did dry needling/trigger point therapy to address some ongoing pain I was having in both of my knees. I was unable to kneel and get on the ground to play with my daughter because the pain was so bad.
Josh took the time to explain what the dry needling therapy was, how it worked, why he thought it would work, and checked in throughout the process to ensure that I was doing OK. He explained that there would be some initial soreness. Our session was on Saturday and by the next morning I was in the gym doing squats, pain free. Kneeling is now pain-free.
In my experience working with Josh, he has always taken the time to ask thoughtful questions that get to the root source of the pain I was experiencing, and takes a bespoke approach to each individual ailment.
Dr. Martha is fabulous! She has helped me immensely with my migraines. She is extremely knowledgeable, kind, and thorough. I recommend her to anyone seeking acupuncture!
I was diagnosed with Sciatica and refer to Physical Therapy besides the traditional medication prescribed by my MD. After doing some research, I made an appointment with Dr. Shao as he is the most experienced medical doctors in traditional Chinese medicine in Sarasota area. Dr. Shao is the doctor to see if you are suffering any back or joint pain. I had good results in a short time.

Frank is a kind, patient, trustworthy and well informed driving instructor. From beginning to end, Frank accompanies your driving student- from picking them up at your home for each lesson, to meeting your student at the DMV on Driver’s Test Day. It was seamless. He knows the people at the DMV and is well acquainted with the test and the test course itself. Our daughter had anxiety about the entire driving process, yet had a very positive experience with Frank and passed her Driver’s Test the first time! We highly recommend Frank and his driving program.
This was absolutely the best money we could have spent on preparing our teenager. The instructor was a great communicator, we scheduled sessions at times that worked well for our family and he also built a genuine rapport with my daughter during the first session.
What was extremely helpful is his approach to instruction. He was straightforward and gave step by step instructions to things I would not have considered or realized needed to be explained. This approach took a very stressful process and made it much better and less stressful for us all. This also made a big difference in helping my daughter to build confidence behind the wheel. The instructor struck the perfect balance between being thorough with safety fundamentals while keeping the experience positive and encouraging.
The peace of mind this set of instructional courses gave us as parents is invaluable. I highly recommend this driving school.
