Heard amazing things about Tracey and her staff at Mooi medical spa. I traveled from Texas to see her and I’m hooked . She went above and beyond . I felt so relaxed and comfortable. I've been a happy patron for well over a year, and I can say with confidence that she is consistent, quick, and exact. It's really easy to strike up conversation with her, and by the end of one haircut, you'll be able to consider her a friend. She always greets and leaves me with a smile whenever I return and depart. As a transgender man who had never been to a barber before, it's safe to say I was insanely nervous heading into Posh. However, I was completely comfortable and at ease within a few minutes. I had very few ideas on what I wanted to do with my hair but I was guided through the entire process and ended up with a fire cut for a reasonable price. If you're trans/queer and need to get your hair cleaned up I would definitely recommend this place. Can't wait for my next cut!

My masseur was Danielle, and this was one of the best massages I have ever had. She is the sweetest , most calm, and intuitive experience I’ve had and she is the epitome of ‘ dynamite ? comes in small packages’. Ashley did my facial and it was phenomenal. She is so sweet and calm and has the biggest, most genuine smile that you can see it in her eyes. She gave me some great advice and a new product to try. I really can’t say enough about this place, everyone that I came in contact with was so nice and pleasant. It may have been my first visit but it won’t be my last. The VIP package looks really tempting.

Went to the Floating Lotus Spa in Gainesville, Fl for the first time because I was given a gift certificate as a surprise !! The atmosphere is very relaxing and pleasant and clean. My massage was wonderful! Very relaxing room, staff made me feel at ease and made sure I was enjoying my massage and that everything was comfortable and to my liking. She was amazing!!! Proceeded on to my facial. Again the room was very clean and relaxing, not quite as relaxing as the massage but guess that's kind of to be expected. Everything was explained as she did it. Only aspect of the facial that was kind of disappointing was at the end when they ran their fingers through my hair after it was over, which I feel was meant to be a kind gesture to straighten the hair from being tied up, however I left feeling like my hair felt a little dirty like maybe their was still cream or lotion on her hands, and upon further looking at my booking confirmation it said Paraffin - Hands but the receipt said anti oxidant - hands. The website talked about it being a deep heat paraffin treatment while my experience was just lotion rubbed on my arms and hands, nothing that involved heat. Overall it was a nice experience and I would definitely recommend contacting them if you are interested in a nice relaxing massage!

The vibe is very relaxed. They’ve got water and snacks for their guests and an open floor plan so you can see everything throughout the shop. I’ve always come with the design fully prepared so this was new territory for me to have someone else do it. Goose was very understanding and redesigned it for me after I didn’t like the first one. He had great communication and we were able to fit in the first half of the tattoo in the first session. It came out amazing! Thank you! Can’t wait to be back in a few weeks

Sooo I called prior to coming in and it was a very valid price! I had my “angel fangs” done alongside my septum. Justin Berk really takes much pride in his work. He made sure over and over that it was okay, alongside making sure that I loved it. They also provided saline solution to help heal and clean my piercings efficiently. I will definitely be back! I absolutely loved the whole process, for anyone wondering from my perspective; 5-6/10 for my angel fangs, and my septum was like a 6/10!

I just have to say that I got the best service from these guys. I am a widow and was having the worst time with needing my septic tank pumped (also having terrible roof problems to add while taking care of my disabled mother). I called and talked to Mr. Bob and he said they would be out the following day between 9am and 11am. They were at my house a little after 9am to dig out the septic and said the septic would be pumped and done by 11am. I asked if he could check for clogs because I have 3 bathrooms and only one was actually working (sort of). Everything was backing up into my tubs and showers and it smelled so bad that I was sick to my stomach. My late husband always took care of these things, so I had no clue what I was doing. After leaving, the toilets were still clogged, and I called him back and he said he would send them back out even though they found no clogs after pumping it. The guys came right back and found the clog and took care of it. I have never worked with such nicer and respectful people. I was crying after they left. I will NEVER use anyone but Premier Plumbing from here on out. Thanks, guys, for everything. I was beginning to think that I would never get this done because everyone I called was more expensive and one place told me that if they couldn't get to my septic I would be charged a $150 fee for coming out! Premier had no problem navigating my property which usually takes a 4-wheel drive to get to. If I could give you 100 stars I would. I wish you all the best and thank you again for dealing with such a huge problem and making my life better. Sometimes when things seem so little to others, it can mean the world to someone else.

I have had Kennedy Electric come to my house a few times, I e worked with both Beal and Jeff. I’m a pretty avid DIYer but sometimes I run into issues that are a bit over my head. George Grimm Electric connected my generator today. They were on time, professional, VERY caring about the quality of their work, and ran the tests twice to ensure it was working as designed. Also, Mister Sparky quoted me for the same work at $8,876 and Grimm did it for just over $2,000! Last week I had my mailbox key replaced as I just moved into a new place. Marcus, the key mechanic or whatever you call it, was very good at communicating and got the job quickly. Sunny's Cleaning did an amazing job deep cleaning the new home we purchased that desperately needed cleaning and sanitization before we could move in. Another cleaning crew had come in earlier and barely made an impact. My husband and I had been trying to get our master bath remodeled since 2020 when the pandemic hit. It was a long time coming finding Steve Padgett owner of All construction and remodeling LLC. He was sent by God; I kid you not. I started out by calling several contractors I will not give them any advertisement because they do not deserve any, their prices ranged from 45K-60k. When I received the 60k price I took that as you really don’t want the job. I said to that company, “I know I could get a whole new bathroom added to the house for this price.” The guy said yes you probably could. I finally decided to try this site that puts you in contact with several contractors called buildzoom. I received a few responses, and I responded back but only one guy called me and set up a time to come view the job his name is Steve. He was on time and listen to what I wanted and gave me a fair price for the job. He sent over his quote/contract the very next day. When it came to the contract, I had a few areas of concern and he adjust things to keep me happy. Steve set a start date and when he figured out, he would be a day late on starting he called and informed me. 02/22/2023 Steve came out and got started he has been focused and, on the job, none stop sunup to sundown. He has not said oh I have to go check on this other project. He has paid attention to details that I didn't even think of, and he has always asked me what I would like and explained the chooses and differences. I am so pleased with Steve’s work ethic I do plan on hiring him for several other projects that we have planned soon. 3/07/2023 Update: Steve requested a few days off due to his family coming into town for Gator Nationals. He is due back Tuesday morning. Steve was so concerned about leaving the job unfinished he added some special details to our project (no additional charge) and he made sure one shower head worked so we could use the shower while he was away. My husband wanted to wait until the shower was completely done before we use it and I agreed. Well, it's 3/14th and Steve is back at it this morning. Today is 03/23/2023 and the job is 98% complete tomorrow will be the day that all is done. I am so pleased with my new walk-in shower. I had a very good experience with this company. Jed is very good at quickly responding and being available, as well as showing up and getting the job done, and has a calm and educated demeanor. The company was there onsite the first day to mitigate and repair the sewer/flood damage. And once the insurance company finally did their job, within days the drywall, mud work, door, baseboard, trim and paint were finished. Paul also was very easy to access, responsive and helpful. I recommend.
We remodeled most of our kitchen (soffit removal, cabinets and countertops) using simple living. While shopping around, Kyle was refreshingly upfront about the costs, and was providing helpful and unbiased advices. Their prices were also very competitive, quoting more than $10,000 under the price of local competitors. Once the cabinets were delivered, the installation was handled in a professional manner, with all efforts expanded to limit the unavoidable delays to the strict minimum. The end result is simply gorgeous, and everything was delivered as expected or beyond. The only word of caution would be that only minimal electrical work is included in the standard quote, and any extra gets charged quite a bit by their electrical contractor. Nevertheless, with their professionalism and their fair pricing, I fully recommend simple living for kitchen remodeling.Service: Remodeling

After our cat showed an unusual interest in a closet, we found that we had a mouse which ran and hid. Turned out we had both mice and rats. Arrow employee Justin came, agreed we had a problem. After Hurricane Milton rolled through, we had a huge tree start to lean uncomfortably towards our detached garage, pulling up at its roots. Derrick came out shortly after I called him, and recognizing that the risk to our garage was “elevated,” he immediately adjusted his schedule to climb up and reduce the load at the top of the tree. He returned the next day with his team and a man lift to take down the rest of the tree. I was thoroughly impressed by their level of skill and professionalism. Five gold stars; will use their services again! Every time!

I could not be more pleased with the job they did. The price was also incredibly reasonable and in-fact they could have charged double for the hard labor that was done. The whole process was professional, from walk-through pre-job to discus the extent of the project to the actual tree removal and tree thinning. It was a two day job at our house, and the team cleaned up everything after day one as well as at the project completion. The workers were professional, friendly and made sure to discuss with us if any questions arose.

This is a family run tree service company and by far the most reasonably priced business in the Gainesville Florida area. We needed a very tall magnolia tree taken out as it had become unstable in heavy winds. Every tree company we received quotes from were in the thousands of dollars to drop the tree and haul it away. One of my neighbors was having a tree removed and I stopped by and inquired if the tree crew would stop by and give me a quote. About two hours later Mr. Brad Batie, the owner was knocking on the door and I stepped outside and we looked at the tree. Long story short, he indicated the direction he would drop the tree and then haul it away. And because I was a Veteran he indicated, he gives Veterans and First responders a discount.The next day around 3:00 PM the crew arrived and I watched as the tree came down, without any damage to our fruit trees on the property. The tree was sectioned, limbs cut back and the foreman indicated they'd be back early tomorrow to haul it away. To my surprise, by 8:00 AM they had come, gone and had cleaned everything up. Now, the best for last, the "total" cost "wasn't" two, three or four thousand dollars as quoted by everyone else, my total cost was $400, YES, you're reading that correctly, FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS to drop the tree and haul it away. The same rate my neighbor paid too, as a first responder. Here's the bonus, they're (Licensed, Insured and Professional tree workers and have been in the tree service industry for over 70 years) Batie's Tree Service will be my only tree service company in the future.

I saw Dr. Martin for an initial visit and then I received a cleaning. That was the most comprehensive dental appointment I have ever had! He made sure to show me pictures of every tooth and and explained various things to be about my teeth/gums and jaw. The cleaning was exceptional and the hygienist was very patient with me during the cleaning. It was a very pleasant dental experience and I can't say that I have had many of those in my life.

Ms. Jeanie remembered my son from my first visit, so on the second visit, she gave him a blanket because she remembered that he had napped during my appointment. The clinic itself has an inviting atmosphere, and everyone has a beautiful smile on their faces.

I have an excellent personal dentist and he specifically reffered me to Dr. Taylor for graft and implant placement. Along the way it was descovered I had TMJ and developed disc displacement with restricted mouth opening. I feel so blessed that God brought me to Dr. Taylor. He's not only an excellent experienced surgeon but highly knowledgeable, approachable, accessible, kind and caring. He developes a thorough patient-centered plan based on the best evidence and he acts with no delays. I felt zero anxiety before, during, and after my arthrosentesis. If I ever need more surgeries, no doubt I will put my trust on him. And the whole teamwork in this practice is excellent. Practice is efficiently organized and staff present patients all the nessesary information clearly and timely. P.S.: on the photo me recovering from arthrosentesis; zero pain meds taken in 12 hours after procedure, just ice and rest.

I’m retired, but I was in a auto accident and I have pain in my back, lower back neck area mid back and sometimes travel down to my ankles, but I also do feel a big difference in the times that I’ve been coming here to Dr. Leone‘s office and I knew you will too And I do highly recommend her because again she’s patient so that will help you to get what you need to be and you will be satisfied, so thank you Dr. Leone and staff and that’s it.She is definitely worth someone to give the opportunity to help you, especially if you’ve been in a car accident.

I have used Dr. Tucker for 37 years with excellent results. My wife of 36 years was using a different chiropractor, but converted to Dr. Tucker 35 years ago. We both refer him to all our friends and neighbors.
I scheduled a SoftWave treatment for my right thigh. It was hurting so much, I had to sit down often and couldn't stand long. I used to walk 2 or more miles, 5 times a week. But last year I wasn't able to walk because of taking care of my husband. I went to my Ortho doctor and found I had Ileo-sacral problems in the hip, arthritis in the joints, and this was affecting my upper right thigh. It would hurt and cramp. The doctor said my right leg needed to be strengthed and more flexible.So I did PT exercises and flexibility exercises. I looked into non-surgical, regenerative treatments, which I've completed on my Hip/spine. So I decided to try the SoftWave treatments on my right leg. I had 6 treatments and a small booster. Not much was needed. I'm now walking 2.25 miles 3 days a week, with very little discomfort. I can stand to cook meals. It's so great to no longer need pain meds.
My pup has vet anxiety, and as a result, so do I, haha. This past week, we met with Dr. Gruntmeir for our dog's annual exam and had the best possible experience one can have at the vet. She was patient with our anxious girl and answered every question we had fully. I've been to other vets where I felt rushed through, but not here. She really took her time to make sure we had addressed all of our concerns and left with a healthy dog. Thanks Dr. Gruntmeir and the fantastic staff at Newberry Animal Hospital Springhill!

From start to finish i had a great experience with this clinic and their staff. We were able to get an appointment quickly and once at the clinic the staff was super friendly and accommodating. I was given a few different treatment options regarding my dog’s allergies and the pros/cons of each. I felt like i was being listened to and wasnt just another patient. Everyone seemed very knowledgeable and I felt like I was in good hands!
I rushed into the office with my cat whose face was swollen. I was petrified. But all the staff were consoling me and telling me the circumstances were not dire. The Dr Mccoulagh came in and was confident and made me feel so much better. My cat is in the best of hands.

I was informed that there was a holistic approach to add to my senior mastiffs issue with his arthritic hips. I met with one of the Vets and she was wonderful with my furr guy. He tolerated the acupuncture well. I’m just trying any and everything to make his last lap comfortable
The staff are wonderful. My Mainecoon girl cat Bailey does not do good being packed in a Carrier and taken to the vet. they can never get a good exam on her. The Tobias team is Always able to give Bailey a thorough exam. They even will cut her nails for me. Everyone on their team is excellent and caring. I couldn't ask for a better vet for my cat.
This is the best veterinary clinic ever. The doctors and staff are super compassionate and knowledgeable. Dr. Brandenburg always provides information and options to help me make the necessary decisions. She replies to my phone calls and emails. (I have had a dog with many health issues.) She performs surgeries and many lab tests in-house. I totally trust her abilities and I also appreciate that she is easy to talk with. Dr. Kicera, whom I have seen less often, gives me an equally good impression of kindness and competence. Office hours are generous, appointments are not too hard to schedule, and the staff works hard to fit in patients that have an urgent need. Both you and your pet will be happy to visit this clinic.

Took our dog, Kobe, to get groomed for the first time. Jessica was very patient with my boy. He came out looking so handsome and he smelled amazing! He was sooo soft, we couldn’t stop cuddling him.
Jasper our dog child with separation anxiety is a very happy Camp Run a Mutt Camper! We know this because he's relaxed at drop off & we see his tail up and wagging with a big smile on his face from the mutt cams!
Jasper has attended other types of camps in his 9 years, but this is the best because they mix all sizes together, cageless & you can see what they're doing.
We're grateful for this camp because he has a place to hang out & socialize while his parents go to doctors appointments @ Shands & do errands in Gainesville.

I tried hot yoga for the first time last week and I fell in love with it and with the studio. The class completely changed me I have been doing yoga for 6 years and thought the hot yoga was an amazing class. The staff are all so nice and friendly. Studio is nice and clean and the atmosphere is very welcoming.
Lauren is the best yoga instruction I have ever encountered, but really she teaches and conveys more than just yoga. She is very in tune with her spirituality, health, and grounded. I not only felt like I was challenged, but I also felt a sense of peace and like I was given freedom to reflect and be at peace. Even her studio and the entire vibe of the sessions are felt calming. The nice aura rang true even while I felt like I got a great physical workout and loosened up a lot. Her in person assistance with stretching was professional and helpful. I learned how to do things on my own to improve from it too. The flexibility of virtual sessions was greatly welcomed. I have done both classes and private sessions but feel it’s so much more personal to be in a private session and get specialized and focused attention. Lauren did so without being intimidated or making me feel bad about my what I was capable of doing. HIGHLY recommend Zen Vibe Yoga!!!
I had an amazing time at the APEX/Yoga Pod studio! It's the ideal place to do Pilates and hot yoga. The whole vibe in the studio is always positive, and everyone is really supportive! Whether you're new to it or you have been practicing for years, the staff and instructors have been super friendly and welcoming! The instructors are very knowledgeable and help me improve my Pilates practice so much. Plus, they introduced me to hot yoga, which I now love just as much as I love Pilates! If you are in Gainesville, definitely give it a try and attend some classes.

My husband and I have seen Julie several times. He is walking straighter after her massages than he has for years and his lower back stiffness is greatly reduced. My lower back pain is largely gone after her treatments. Julie is superb!
When I tell you NATALIE is a BEAST at what she does. From day one she answered all of my 1734 questions. I mean I had concerns and she addressed all of them. She made sure I was comfortable even after hours, I would call with another 1734 questions. Again, she would answer and LISTEN, then go on to tell me what was happening and what I needed to do. Overall when it was time to get my massage I was hurting (swollen) so bad that I did not even want to go. Natalie assured that once I got my massage that I would feel so much better. Believe me.....I FELT EXTREMELY BETTER. I was relaxed and comfortable. That was the first go around. I had my second go round and I already KNEW who I was going to choose to get to do my massages. NO one. I mean NO one could tell me to go too any one else. UM excuse me I want "Just Breathe Massage" with "Natlie". If there is ANYONE that needs post op care from BBL, LIPO, anything. I had work and did not know I would be able to reschedule but he was on it, and Stephanie was so kind to come in on such short notice! Stephanie helped relieve the tenseness in my lower back and shoulders that stemmed from herniated discs. I enjoy talking sometimes and she didn't mind talking with me, and I had an amazing conversation that only made the massage that much better, and honestly, impactful not only physically but mentally. It was okay. The physical therapists were nice \\u0026 did a great job with me, \\u0026 I thank them for that. But I’ll never forget the introduction “interview”. It was a bad experience that left a bad taste in my mouth. (\\u0026 I’m not talking about the ginger. I like ginger.) While I was waiting for the manager, or whoever is in charge, I pulled a ginger chew out of my purse \\u0026 ate it. When the brunette walked in she said under her breath, “that’s a great way to start an interview.” First of all, am I applying for a job here, or am i paying you for the physical therapy?? I’m paying “you”, not the other way around. \\u0026 my tummy hurt. That rude first impression made me not want to be there. \\u0026 I ended up calling \\u0026 making up some excuse to not have to finish out the last week or two. \\u0026 to top it off, when I offered her a ginger chew, she made a look like she was disgusted, \\u0026 said, “I HATE ginger.” Rude. A kind “no thank you” would have been more appropriate. But I’ll still give them 4 stars bc the physical therapy was consistent \\u0026 the PTs were kind. I just couldn’t stand the manager, or whoever “interviewed” me, \\u0026 thank God I don’t have to work for her, bc she’s not so nice.

Over the course of seven or eight sessions with Stephen Schachter, I experienced dramatic relief from severe leg pain that had seriously hindered my mobility. The test results (Xray, MRI, EMG) had been negative and shot-in-the-dark treatments had been ineffective, so I got no help from traditional medicine. Since undergoing acupuncture, I'm able to walk long distances again, and my year-and-a-half-long phantom leg pain no longer troubles me. In addition to the effective treatment, my experience with Steve Schachter was highly informative and enjoyable. Also, the office manager, Joy, was invariably agreeable and helpful. My highest recommendation and much appreciation go to Stephen Schachter.
Dragon Rises is the first place I have ever tried acupuncture. I was skeptical, because I had been to several traditional doctors for issues with vertigo, difficulty with sleeping and difficulty with bowel movements. With just 5 treatments with Lori Pallais, my acupuncturist, I must say I am now a believer in eastern medicine and acupuncture etc. Lori Pallais is great. She is great with communicating, and just after the first 3 treatments, my vertigo is completely healed, I fall asleep faster, and wake up way less than I used to. I used to wake up 4-5 times throughout the night every night for several years, I now wake up once a night or sometimes I sleep completely through the night. I used to have a bowel movement once per week, but only after taking a laxative. Now I have a bowel movement at least 5 days a week. I had also suffered with shoulder pain for the last 15 years due to a motorcycle accident. After just 5 treatments, my shoulder pain is gone.
I can't express enough how thankful I am for Lori Pallais and Dragon Rises for taking the time to work on all of my physical issues that were majorly affecting my sleep and everyday life. Thank you Lori for helping to restore my health and for helping me get better nights sleep. You were able to fix in just 5 treatments what western medicine doctors have not been able to do in 10 years. All of the doctors I have went to, have just given me prescriptions which never really helped and at best just put a bandaid on the real issues, but you were able to get to root cause and heal the areas of the body that needed healed to give me back my life and mobility.

this program has been so impactful, it's hard to put into words.. it hasn't always been pretty or easy. it's been incredibly challenging and frustrating at times. BUT i have developed a deeper, more expansive understanding of myself and the world around me -- a real gift. there's something truly special about this school, the teachers and staff, and the curriculum.
i originally pursued this program due to the "intensive" structure of the first 2 years, which allowed me to continue working and living at home. intensive is a perfect word for it. it requires self-discipline, self-motivation, and a lot of self-care. if you're ready and willing to grow, this experience can be quite transformative.
now that my clinical internship is nearing its close, i feel proud of the professionalism i've been able to develop here. the program prepares you to not only treat patients within the 5 Element / Chinese medical system but to also understand their allopathic medical diagnoses and medications. we've had practice management classes with great insights on how to start and run an acupuncture business. working with patients through the different levels of clinic has provided much opportunity to learn, receive feedback, and further hone our technical & interpersonal skills.
overall, i've found the program to be comprehensive in its preparation of students for the lifelong journey of being an acupuncturist and herbalist. ever-thankful that my path led me here !
