What a Relief! We found a roofer that backed their promises and was affordable. From sales to roofers to final everyone was down to earth, available for questions and follow up was great. With every big job there are mishaps and not everyone is willing to follow through with fixes or make it right but RETEX and my team did and now we can relax knowing our roof was replaced, repaired and is better than new. The Healing House offers so much under one roof. It is quiet, clean and relaxing in the charm of an historic home. I've been a massage client since moving to Alachua in 2024. Griff works wonders in targeting and conquering my tension points with strong hands and deep, therapeutic massage. I was in town helping my mother coordinate contractors working on her home. I contacted Rooter Tooter to fix several items in a late 1960s home. Scott was able to squeeze us in his busy schedule so he was there to check drains as soon as the new Septic drain field was complete. Scott quickly worked to fix a leaking laundry spigot, a leaking kitchen drain, and installed a new faucet in the master bath. Upon checking all of the drains, he discovered the laundry water outlet was severly clogged. Scott used several tools to unclog the drain. It was a pleasure to work with someone who is skilled in his trade and provided us a very fair price for all of this work. Thank you Scott for all your hard work and honesty.

Awesome people work at Landscape Unlimited. I recently worked with Erin who helped me with an order of red bark rock for my backyard walking path. She sent me pictures of the different products available and helped me with assessing the best product for my job. She was timely, friendly, and so helpful. The delivery guy was also wonderful. He too was timely and professional. Landscape unlimited has a great supply of plants, trees and garden supplies. They truly provide individualized service to their customers. It is nice to find a business who provides the customer service that is often lacking in today’s world. I highly recommend checking them out!

I read the one-star review and really feel for the man who fell and hurt his knee. It doesn't attest to the level of care Dr. Powell provides though. I saw him today, and he provided better care than any other chiropractor I've been to. I was confused about some aspects of chiropractic and he explained how it works. I came in with lower back pain and learned that I have a slight scoliosis of the spine. In short, I left feeling much better.

I posted an ad on fb for someone to do my baseboards. Because I understand times are hard and people need side money, I decided to take a chance on someone’s friend who “knows what he’s doing and is very good”. A one day project turned into 3, and the guy was doing stuff completely unrelated to my baseboards and the baseboards hadn’t even been put on by day 2. I had to fire him and called an actual company, which is this one. They came out the next day and despite having to redo everything the person prior did and go buy more materials, they finished my project in under 2.5hrs. They came in and immediately went to work. No bs, no hanging around, no touching anything that wasn’t on the agenda except my cat who absolutely loved them and I had to put away. I couldn’t be happier with them, which is why I now have them on another project. This is a LOCAL FAMILY owned business. Please support!
A tree pulled down our electric box and weatherhead during the storm, and in order to bring our electricity hook up to code, a hole had to be drilled into our roof. The electrician told us we need to get a roofer out to weatherproof it and Blake McDavid happened to be across the street at my neighbors so I flagged him down. He came over right away and told me he’d give me an estimate that night. Got the quote shortly after and he came out the next day. Not only did he complete the job, he blew off our whole roof, patio, and sidewalk. Blake was easy to work with, prompt in communication, and professional. He went above and beyond and for that, McDavid’s will be our first call for all our roofing needs moving forward. Thank you again!
We had some septic problems with our holding tank a few years ago and Newsome came out and took care of it. A few days ago our alarm went off and Tyler came out for the service call. He was great, very professional, polite and explained everything. Ends up our float was just stuck which he quickly fixed and got us going again. Would highly recommend Newsome.

Amy my dental hygienist is wonderful. She keeps my teeth so clean and is diligent about my gum disease. Dr. Colleen has seen me a couple of times and she is vey gentle and patient.

I was a little hesitant to come with the mixed reviews but so glad we did! My daughter has very thick, long hair. She asked for a layered/butterfly cut and they perfected it! Very happy with the results!! I wish I got her name but she was a shorter woman with glasses and silver/blonde hair. She was very sweet!
