“Our basement is the main play area for our 5 year old. But it is where the furnace is, and it also has a drop ceiling and a plush carpet so it gets EXTREMELY hot. I tried dehumidifiers and fans and they did not help. There are no windows so portable A/C units are not possible. I did a ton of DIY research on mini splits and due to the head being under the compressor it was a semi complicated job for any off the shelf kit like a Mr Cool or something. I talked to two other HVAC professionals and one had no idea and the other quoted about 10 thousand for a mini split to come from the opposite side of the house than where I envisioned the unit going. I got a flyer in the mail for Valley and gave them a call. Within 5 minutes of them arriving to scope the job they completely agreed with my idea and said it made perfect sense and was an easy job. The quote came in and was absolutely fair. After years of dealing with an uncomfortable basement Valley solved it in a few hours. I could not be happier with everyone I dealt with in the office and on site. And the actual unit is of the highest quality, makes 0 noise and gets the basement cold in about 4 minutes. Easy 5/5”
