“Our basement is the main play area for our 5 year old. But it is where the furnace is, and it also has a drop ceiling and a plush carpet so it gets EXTREMELY hot. I tried dehumidifiers and fans and they did not help. There are no windows so portable A/C units are not possible. I did a ton of DIY research on mini splits and due to the head being under the compressor it was a semi complicated job for any off the shelf kit like a Mr Cool or something. I talked to two other HVAC professionals and one had no idea and the other quoted about 10 thousand for a mini split to come from the opposite side of the house than where I envisioned the unit going. I got a flyer in the mail for Valley and gave them a call. Within 5 minutes of them arriving to scope the job they completely agreed with my idea and said it made perfect sense and was an easy job. The quote came in and was absolutely fair. After years of dealing with an uncomfortable basement Valley solved it in a few hours. I could not be happier with everyone I dealt with in the office and on site. And the actual unit is of the highest quality, makes 0 noise and gets the basement cold in about 4 minutes. Easy 5/5”

“I’m writing this review 10 months after we had Advanced Heating and Air Conditioning install Mitsubishi Electric HVAC units in our split-level home in South Windsor, and we couldn’t be happier with the results.<br><br>Last July (2025), we were tired of dealing with window units and wanted a more comfortable, long-term solution for cooling our home. Looking back, investing in this system and choosing Advanced Heating and Air Conditioning was absolutely the right decision.<br><br>From mounting the outdoor unit on our house siding to completing the attic installation and replacing the attic fan, every part of the job was done with incredible care and attention to detail. We’re especially glad we added the heat pump, since it allowed us to take the chill out of the house during the early spring months without needing to turn on the furnace.<br><br>Mike and his entire team were professional, courteous, and thorough throughout the entire process. They cleaned up at the end of each day, clearly explained the work they were doing, and made sure everything was completed the right way. We had five ceiling vents installed and our attic fan replaced with a return vent, which required cutting into the ceilings, and they did an excellent job.
