I was searching desperately for a seamstress in Yuba City to take in a black tie gown in time for a wedding, but every one I called was unavailable, so I brought the dress to Town Cleaners on a whim. They have an in-house seamstress, who altered the dress perfectly. I was nervous, since it was an expensive, structured, fully lined satin dress, but it now fits like a glove. The price was very reasonable, too! I will definitely come back here for future alterations!

My 18 year old son has been there a few times, and I can't say enough good things about the facility. They really do all they can to make the patient stable, even if that means keeping him extra time; they also make the patient feel comfortable. My son has been in a couple of different facilities besides this one, but they always immediately released him once the 51/50 was up and weren't great on answering the phone or other communication, but with Stabler Lane Behavioral Health, they are great at reaching out and keeping you informed as long as the patient has signed an ROI for you. Furthermore, Becky (my son's caseworker) never makes me feel like an annoyance when I have questions; she is always friendly and informative. Same with anyone at the front desk that I have spoken with.

Everyone was very nice and friendly, starting with my phone call to schedule the appointment, front desk receptionist, tech that took my photos and X-rays was gentle and patient, and asked me thorough questions to the dentist that explained everything well and offered me a referral for the things I needed to go to others for.

After checking local reviews, we decided to book with Fernando, and are glad we did!. Fernando is so personable, listened to our ideas, and spent a lot of time giving my husband THE perfect cut. Additionally, Fernando provided some good tips on beard grooming!.All in all, a super positive experience!
Bart did an amazing job on my beard and head. He was professional, humorous, and highly skilled. I've never had someone straight razor my head or face. This was my first visit but I assure you it won't be my last. The shop has really cool decor, TV's to watch while you wait, and comfortable sofas to sit on. Oh and while you're there make sure you say hi to Chapo the dog. He's super chill!

Chelsea is so amazing, I could go on all day. She is so nice and her room is always clean. I have gotten brow waxing, tinting and lamination. Glass skin facial and hydro facial. I’ve just had the best perm experience at Carnes and Co. Linda was recommended by a friend and I asked for a consultation which she happily discussed with me over the phone. Her love of people was so apparent from the first conversation. I see how kindly everyone is treated at the salon. Linda answered all my questions, gave her recommendations and insight on my hair type and lifestyle needs, basically kept me very involved in the whole process. The process was so enjoyable, it’s almost therapeutic. I love the curls, trim and shape up into my new effortless look. had such a great experience at Aphrodite’s Vanity with Kayla! It was my first Brazilian wax in over 2 years, so I was definitely nervous going in, but she immediately made me feel comfortable. Her energy and the overall vibe of her space were super calming, which helped a lot.
She was not only professional but also really informative,she even let me know the exfoliating scrub I’d been using was NOT it (much appreciated ?). I also loved that on the consent form you can choose whether you want a silent appointment or not. As someone who loves to chat, I chose non silent and we had such a great conversation the whole time.

I went in for a full face threading and wax and had such a great experience! The wax they used was super light and gentle (way better than other places I’ve tried) – no pain, burning, or irritation even with my sensitive skin. She even threaded the little hairs the wax didn’t catch, which made everything super clean. It was quick, efficient, and honestly the time flew by. Highly recommend!I also picked up a monthly serum for pigmentation that tightens and brightens—she gave me great tips on how to use it weekly. So far, really happy with everything, and I’ll update after my first month with the serum!

Calvin from Earl’s Plumbing exceeded our expectations. A true professional and gentleman, he endured our endless questions and offered advice on other problems in our home. The repair that we needed was elementary but Calvin’s priority was providing good service and that he did with both patience and professionalism. Calvin’s refrigerator magnet is on our fridge door and we will request him personally the next time that we need a plumber.
Plumbing Doctor was very responsive and got someone out here right away. Jorden did a great job! He unclogged our pipe, communicated well, answered all our questions, and seemed very knowledgeable. We have another problem of the cold water coming out in a very weak stream compared to the hot water; he's going to research some solutions and get back to us with recommendations and estimates for a fix. We’ll definitely call PD next time we need a plumber.

I tried High Performance Carpeting and they did the most amazing job! I have had many different carpet cleaners in the past but this one is absolutely the best. I also had a needlepoint chair that needed help with some stains and Tammy cleaned it beautifully. She also did a wonderful job cleaning my sofa and recliners! I highly recommend this company and will continue to use them from now on.

I called Ace Carpet & Window Cleaning about steam cleaning the carpets in a 3-bedroom house and they were able to get it done the next day. The truck was parked in the driveway (10 minutes early) when I pulled up and the guys got to work right away deodorizing and steaming out the carpets. Joey and Chris did a great job and were very professional. They had the work completed in about 90 minutes and the house smelled fresh and clean and the carpets looked like new again. I appreciate these guys for doing such a fantastic job and for the quick turnaround time. I would certainly recommend Ace Carpet & Window Cleaning and I’ll be giving them a call the next time I need carpets or windows cleaned around the house.

Our fence blew down. Botanica Landscapes and Construction fixed it. The invoice came in way under the estimate. The work was completed quickly. The crew was pleasant and professional. They used the latest PostMaster steel fence post technology and composite fence boards. I would recommend Botanica to anyone in need of a fence repair.
I called around other landscape businesses and needed 12 rolls of sod for a project and everyone turned me away and said I needed to buy a whole pallet worth. I called BARROWS landscape and was told I could come pick up my 12 rolls right now. Tristen and Edgar were quick to stop doing what they were doing to
help me load up the rolls in the back of my truck.

Dr. Publisher and staff treated me like I've been a life long pt. 5 star service! While in yuba city on a 3 mo contract my crown broke just before traveling home for the 4th of July holiday weekend. These guys worked me in for an assessment at 11am, offered an afternoon appointment to prep tooth and create a temp crown. All in one day! Cordano Dental is just full of amazing people who provide outstanding service! From a loving kind dentist who made me feel at home and took the time to continually explain my care and ensure I wasn’t afraid or in any pain at all! I had a really tough root canal and it honestly was a great experience and so not what you expect will happen! It wasn’t bad in the least bit!! I felt confident and I trusted my dentist really cared!The staff who assisted were also so kind and amazing and the staff at the front desk were warm friendly and helpful. Christie went above and beyond several times to make sure I understood my dental charges, informed me on ways to pay and helped make sure my FSA requirements were met by sending out the extra proof of care they asked for! I can’t imagine using another dental team at this point! So absolutely impressed by what an amazing staff at Cordono Dental

Everyone was very nice and friendly, starting with my phone call to schedule the appointment, front desk receptionist, tech that took my photos and X-rays was gentle and patient, and asked me thorough questions to the dentist that explained everything well and offered me a referral for the things I needed to go to others for.
This was my first visit here and so far so good. This is the third dentist I'm trying. The other 2 dropped the ball and left me hanging with promises that they would have no issues with the work I needed done. One of them dragging it out for almost 2 years. I come to Western Dental and am told that authorization will take about 3 weeks. 😳 I'll let you know in 3 weeks if this is true. If so, these guys will get more than 5 stars!

Dr. Jung is an amazing, and i do mean AMAZING dude. I went to him in 2012? After being in a wreck in my 20's felt like my life was over, after being with several other chiro's. They recommended him! I swear this man brought my quality of life back. it's now 2026 and I still rave about the work he did. Until I met this dude, I started thinking that chiropractors were BS and money grabbing. I don't live in the area anymore but if I did, i'd be coming back for any adjustment or physio.

Office is well organized and has friendly personnel. Dr. Edelstein is very knowledgeable and thorough in his examination, is open to questions and explains well. He is one of the few truly empathetic doctors I have encountered. His nurses are knowledgeable and efficient. Could not have had a better experience.
Dr. Peppercorn is just so wonderful it cannot be explain in a review. I saw him through SkyMD telehealth and he helped me more than multiple in-person dermatologists ever did. I cannot possibly say enough good things about him and his team at SkyMD. Changed my life forever.
I went to Dr. Hodari in Yuba City to have some old-lady keratosis spots removed. The one on my temple was benign, but the other came back as squamous cell carcinoma and had to be excised. I was so scared I’d be left with a huge, ugly Frankenstein scar on my face — but wow, was I surprised! Dr. Hodari removed the cancer and stitched me up beautifully. You can’t even tell I ever had stitches!
He is wonderful — kind, caring, and truly great at what he does. The office is spotless, calm, and welcoming, and the entire team — from the medical staff to the front receptionist — is absolutely amazing. I’ve already gone back to have a few more spots treated with freezing.

This office is by far my favorite dermatology office in the 530! The medical assistants make you feel very welcomed and are just very professional! Dr. Greg Chance is amazing and will do anything to make sure you are happy with your results. Their RN Lauren previously did a lip flip on me and it turned out absolutely amazing and I am beyond happy with my results.

We’ve been using this vet since my dog was a puppy, and the staff has always been great. I recently brought him in for rapid hair loss/ itching, and they took the time to explain different treatment options. They were honest, informative, and never pushed unnecessary or expensive treatments. I felt very comfortable trusting their recommendations.
I took our two cats for a nail trim, their first visit to a grooming salon. The staff were welcoming and friendly. They did a quick nail trim with no bleeding from clipping too short, which is something I always worry about. Bubble Up will definitely be my pets' grooming salon.

The staff was polite and welcoming, and the two older ladies working there were kind throughout my visit. However, the lack of air conditioning made the experience uncomfortable, especially during the summer heat. Unfortunately, the massage itself was mediocre and felt unprofessional. The therapist mainly used repetitive pounding and tapping rather than applying proper technique, pressure control, or targeted muscle work. It honestly felt like something anyone could do, rather than a skilled massage. Communication was also somewhat difficult, as one staff member does not speak fluent English, which made it harder to express preferences or concerns during the session. On a positive note, they do offer special treats, which was a thoughtful and appreciated touch. Overall, the experience was mixed, with some positives but also several areas that need improvement.
The front desk staff are very considerate, the technicians' skills are impeccable, and the environment is great. I really enjoyed it and am looking forward to my next visit.
