436 Main St, El Segundo“I have been a member for 5 months now and I have nothing but positive things to say about GTS. They really care about providing a great experience to their members. I checked out Equinox, Planet Fitness, 24 hour fitness, and have been a member at other local gyms. If your focus is getting your work in and learning proper form you won't find a better deal. Overall: The best gym. Very good price given what you get. Their session cancellation and unused pass policy is very generous. All of the instructors are top notch and very nice people. No gym bros here. As a female, I really appreciate the friendly but focused atmosphere. Master Classes: Excellent. They will teach you proper form to get the max strength out of you while preventing injury. If you have a past injury, they will show you tips to still be able to train (I had an injury from before I started going to this gym). So far, I have taken the Day 1 and Day 2 master classes. I have knee problems from before and I found it unbelievable that with their instruction I was able to do full proper squats. Atmosphere/occupancy: Also excellent. I've never had to wait for any squat racks ever. There have been times when I'm the only one in the gym, especially early in the morning. They have a good mix of machines and I've always been able to make it work what they have. Everyone is very courteous. If there's any equipment that's malfunctioning I just have to send a text to the owners and they address it right away. Other members: People are usually minding their own business, but everyone is polite and considerate. Most people will give you a wave or nod if you're working out during the open gym. Owner/Coaches: Jason, the owner, is great. Again, my experience is that he is focused on providing the best experience for the members. He is a great coach and is very knowledgeable about form and the mechanics of strength training. I have interacted with two other coaches and have felt very comfortable and cared for during their instruction. As a female, this is something I really appreciate.“

7312 Melrose Ave, Los Angeles“I am so grateful for the team at Training Loft. I came in highly intimidated by anything strength training related and my own body struggles. I cried my first session, ha! and now I have completed 19 sessions / 2 months in. I'll get back to you in a year about how much my body transforms (already down 2% body fat and 5 lb muscle increase) but this has been more internally healing. They remove much of the barrier to entry by making the sessions 30 minutes and holding you accountable with scheduling. The included Physical Therapy aspect makes the experience feel much more health-related than aesthetic, which I need. All the trainers are very very good. Have fun.“

The care and incredible therapy I have received and worked on over the last year with Dr Kyle and the other therapists at Elevate have been incredibly life saving to me. The care is personalized. One on one with your Doctor of PT. My recovery would never have come along this far after a year without the professionalism and incredible therapy- which required hard work- without Elevate. I am a former marathon runner and athlete so it was very important to me to work hard with the best after a freak ski accident. I’ve put off exercising for most of my life. I never particularly enjoyed working out and could never stick with it. When I finally decided it was time to find a trainer, I knew I needed more than just workouts I needed guidance with my diet, my routines, and my overall lifestyle and happiness.
From the very start, Shawn has been everything I was looking for and more. He has me tracking my sleep, my meals, and even focusing on mental health. As a recent empty nester, I was feeling somewhat lost and unsure of my purpose after so many years of raising my kids. Not only did I avoid exercise for years, but I also put off addressing my mental health and overall life satisfaction. Shawn has helped me tackle both.
What sets him apart is that my training sessions go far beyond exercise. We review my sleep quality (he introduced me to the Oura ring), my nutrition, and we work on quality-of-life goals. For the first time, I’ve been asked to reflect on my passions and how to pursue them. The best part is that he doesn’t just talk about it, he holds me accountable. We literally sat down and made a list of things I might want to try, and he follows up with me about those piano lessons I mentioned or the flower arranging class I wanted to take.

In only 3 months I can see a notable change and I think this may be the first time ever that I am not hiding behind a cover up or shorts at the beach , I have more energy and focus than ever. I had the easiest births and recoveries both times even though I had diastasis issues, and I really credit her for keeping my core and pelvic floor so strong and mobile. My favorite thing about her is she really knows how to push you enough where you feel like you see and feel improvement, but not so much that you're ever risking your form or physique. What's crazy is that I have gotten so many compliments on my physique that now my best friend, her husband, our neighbors, family friends, and my husband see her for private training sessions, and they're all obsessed with her so clearly she's doing something right!“

My fiancé goes to the gym 3 times a week and has doubled in size since he started training with Sean. He was able to help with his knee issues, which had been causing him problems when running, and everyone always compliments him now.
I started going to Logic Fitness myself because I was jealous of how good he was looking. Sean's training program has been instrumental in helping me achieve my goals.
I appreciate that Sean already has a plan in place for me when I come in for my sessions, so I don't need to think too much.
Since starting at Logic Fitness, I've noticed significant improvements in my strength and overall fitness. My friends have commented that I'm in my jacked era. I'm now able to lift my 50 lb Basset Hound without struggling!
Sean is an excellent coach who truly cares about his clients' success. He's knowledgeable, supportive, and always pushes me to do my best even when I don't feel like it. I also appreciate Brittany - so friendly and funny!
Lastly, the parking situation at Logic Fitness is convenient and hassle-free, which is a big plus in LA.

I finally decided to invest in private training sessions at The Study and I am so glad that I did! The Study is situated in a clean, spacious location and is even equipped with a cold tub and sauna! As someone who spent years paying for gym memberships at major health club chains, I am thrilled to have made the switch to The Study, an independently owned and operated studio that focuses on personal, customized training. The trainers helped keep me accountable for my fitness goals and customized a program that accommodated my work schedule. Alexander is a knowledgable and professional instructor who seems truly invested in the progress of his clients. He has a deep understanding of exercise physiology, and is skilled at developing workout plans that maximize results and gradually build in intensity over time. My sessions with him are always challenging yet fun. On top of that, he is pleasant to be around and easy to talk to. I always look forward to my sessions with him and I cannot recommend him enough! The Study also recently expanded their offerings to include electromyostimulation (EMS) workouts, which involve wearing a suit with built-in electrodes that target and stimulate specific muscles while you exercise. I was initially reluctant to try this out, but after completing a session led by Karen, I can say it was a unique and interesting adjunct to conventional strength training. Karen was friendly & enthusiastic and I hope to have more sessions with her in the future. I am very pleased with the progress I have made since starting at The Study. I feel stronger and more confident with each session, and give my unreserved recommendation!“
