Called Monday, spoke with Sharon regarding bird destroying my old fiberglass upstairs screen for over a week who was very helpful explaining that birds take screen material to build nest, and provided me with outstanding customer service, then scheduled me for Wednesday 1:30pm with Carlos. Carlos arrived promptly as agreed for the job rescreening screens of my choice in my home. The roofers worked very hard and were very accommodating to the care of my property, which had a swimming pool very near the roof repair area. This job included the removal and reinstallation of my regular solar panels and a pool solar tubing system; after the roof replacement, they reinstalled the pool solar tubing (even conducted some repairs) and solar panels without any issues. “Brick paving, buckling with tree roots, was removed from my front yard. Large roots were removed, the paths and side yard were dug, layered, and compacted to support a level surface for new brick. Their work is meticulous, with brick perfectly cut for curves and drain surrounds. The space between bricks is now filled with a sand that hardened when wetted, preventing ants and weeds. The project manager and the crew were attentive to my requests. They moved plants in fragile pots without breaking them. They stacked my old brick where I asked, and added some protection for the side of the house, which I hadn’t thought about. They added a French drain and a short retaining wall the project seemed to need as it developed—no extra cost. They were on time, they were tireless, they were intent all the way through on the work being beautiful. And they were done in less time than I expected. The result: the front entry and garden radiate care and welcome instead of “Watch your step.” The impact is much greater than I expected.“

Unfortunately, they didn’t work out and I can’t say enough about how well they handled the return process on the screens. They were courteous and stand up all the way. “We highly recommend GBC Remodeling. After 25 years in our home, we sought out a contractor who would be reliable and provide excellent work. We did 3 exterior projects, and were very happy after each project was completed. The first was exterior stucco repair and painting using Tex-cote. Fernando and his crew were very hard workers with attention to detail. The exterior painting is beautiful. The second was to replace all (>20) windows in our house with vinyl Aldin windows. The window crew was very efficient and hardworking, and we were very satisfied with the installation process and the Aldin windows.The third project was to perform roof work doing a lift and lay of concrete tiles. After 25 years, despite no roof leaks, we decided to replace the underlayment, and it was a good investment. We had some water and termite damage to the house wood trim and also boards on roof that needed to be replaced. It was a perfect time to do the needed roof work. Jason and his crew have done an excellent job in doing all the needed repairs and replacement work. In all three projects, the workers were extremely competent, friendly, and hardworking. We enjoyed meeting with Aaron in negotiating the home improvement contracts. He was honest, straightforward, knowledgeable. I was also impressed by the excellent communication, and with his helpful office staff Jessica and John. I find dealing with contractors stressful, but they made all projects go smoothly and with great quality of workmanship.“
