I was always afraid to trust anyone with my curls and had a hard time finding someone who truly knew how to cut curls the correct way. Bailee lightned my hair and added some red. I left with a beautiful color and cut and my curls where not damaged. Her knowledge and skill set is amazing and I won't go anywhere else for a cut or color. I highly recommend Inspire Beauty!

I travel for work and hadn't had my hair cut in months. We just moved into the area 5 weeks ago so I wasn't familiar with any barber shops. After seeing the good reviews for this place I went ahead and called for a booking. Got booked the next day early in the morning. Upon entry the vibes were great. Greeted with smiles and friendly "how you doing?" Sat down and my barber Manny approached me, confirmed my appointment and got to work. Made nice easy small talk and then I let him to his thing. Best haircut I've gotten in a long time. Low fade with a #1 on the sides and a little more taken off the top than your usual fade. Manny nailed it. Upon leaving the other barbers thanked me for coming by and I felt like a million bucks. This is the place to go and make your regular spot if you don't already have one. If I wasn't here temporally this is where I'd be going for all my haircuts.
I'm very particular with my barbershops. When I'm in town this where I go, spot checks all the boxes. Jules is the man. Great conversation and killer cut. Clean and courteous, I enjoy my time in the chair. Will not be disappointed or there's something wrong with you.

I called around 1130am and asked if there were 2 pedicure appointments available around 2p; and they had 2 appointments available for 230p. While this salon does have walk-ins available, I had read many reviews that stated that if you made appointments, you would get 1:1 attention from the owners, Tim & Jennifer. While we were about 25 minutes early, the owners were quick to put my husband and in the pedicure chairs.One of the reasons I chose this salon was the bags that are put in the pedicure tubs; because that showed me that the owners were understanding of cleanliness and keeping infections down.Tim & Jennifer are the owners of this gem in Redding, CA. The prices were reasonable and both took such great care of our toes. We felt like valued customers. We will definitely be back when we come back to town!!

A little over a year ago I was looking to get my nails done for a special occasion. I'd had some bad experiences so I called around looking for the right feel. I made my one-time appointment with Lisa and I loved her so much I ended up coming back in 3 weeks to get my nails done again. It's a year later and I have been getting my nails done by Lisa every 3 weeks. I used to feel bad because I always have to have my kids with me but Claws is welcoming and understanding and Lisa is amazing - she's become extended family for us. My very girly daughter is always so pleased that I have pretty, girly nails and I always feel pretty and pampered when I leave. Not to mention I am HARD on my nails and the job Lisa does holds up like gangbusters! Im so glad I stumbled upon Claws last year and that I ended up with Lisa... I so look forward to my time there.

i get my eyebrows and mustache waxed here LOL . I also, get my nails done and i’ve done my feet maybe twice but i honestly love them. the women take extra precautions while doing my feet because, i’m diabetic and the man that does my nails is very gentle and has given me advice on how to help heal my cuticles. my eyebrows always come out amazing and i never feel judged here . I just went through a one year long depression and didn’t take care of my self at all . My last visit i walked out feeling confident again and i’m very grateful. I have lived in redding for three years and have never went anywhere else

I went to get multiple wax services done today. I so appreciate them accommodating me with add on waxing services last minute.
What I wasn’t fond of is the Brazilian waxing room, near the bathroom downstairs. (The wax itself was great.) I was told to get undressed from the waist down and get on the table and the waxer would be right back. Mind you, the door is facing the hallway where clients go to the bathroom or go to other rooms to get massages. I’m laying down and the door opens and people could see right in if they wanted to. I have my cooter out for other clients to possibly see. I don’t care if the waxer sees, she’s the one waxing me. After the wax was done, I then sat up at the edge of the waxing table to get my underwear and shorts back on. Then the door opens so the waxer can leave while I’m sitting there with my cooter and belly rolls out. Lol!! Again, a client could see right in if they wanted to.
On top of that, I had a guy friend who I ran into in this same place during this session. I would be MORTIFIED if he happened to go use the bathroom as the waxer was walking out and he saw me exposed.
I would have been perfectly fine if the waxer would stay in the room as I quickly undressed from the waist down without opening the door. And let me get dressed before she left.
Like I said earlier. The wax was great. I got a Brazilian, underarm, lip, chin & eyebrows wax. I spent some money there today. The only thing is my modesty during the Brazilian.

I tried this new massage place, and it was great! This petite beautiful Chinese girl really knows how to give a massage. She knows all the pressure points to dig deep into the muscle and also uses an electronic massaging device with special lotion. The results were outstanding. After my massage I went directly to Costco and when walking around I noticed that I was smiling, and my body was so relaxed I felt like I was sleepwalking. People must have looked at me and thought why is that guy so happy. I highly recommend this place.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Pretty Peach Salon and I'm still raving about my experience! I was greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Sarah was super friendly and made me feel at ease, which is a must for a waxing newbie like me.

Had no expectations as a walk in. I just wanted a sauna and was grateful I could get in. Didn't realize it was a dry sauna but it was still very hot and relaxing. The bench was a little small (I'm 5'3", 115 lb.). 30 minutes was perfect. The salt room was a little cold so I'd ask for a blanket next time. You basically sit in a very comfortable chair in a room with nice music and do nothing. Breathe. I saw a very thin layer of salt on the arms of the other chairs when done (30 minutes), but couldn't really tell if anything was happening. Being still for this long was a nice treat at 2 p.m. Next time I'll bring my rosary. I'm going back for the spa package.

Esthetician Sara W, is beyond amazing, she will give you all the tools and education about skin care, and the facials she gives are top notch. Massage therapist, Blake, is phenomenal. Every-time I get a massage by Blake I feel amazing, he is the best massage therapist I have went to (and I have gone to a lot). Thank you Sara and Blake for your amazing skills.

This place did AMAZING on my boyfriend’s eyebrow piercing, as well as gave a second opinion on my septum that went extremely poorly at Fetch. Our piercer explained every step in detail and how to properly heal this piercing as well as the risks that came with getting it.
The jewelry was priced on the higher end because it’s super good quality!!! But is worth it in the end to heal the piercing well.

Iron Mountain is my favorite place to get tattooed in Redding. It’s a real shop with real folks with real skills. I’ve always been happy with every piece I’ve received, which is many over the years. ive been to shops all over los angeles but nothing compares to this place. the artist wade really listens to what you want & talks you through the process (also gave me great suggestions for how to make my coverup look better). i really appreciated the care & attention to detail, ive never had an artist put that much effort into making my tattoo look perfect. the studio is also super clean & everyone is very nice & welcoming.

Jace and Dillon came out to repair our hose bib leak. They were so nice and explained how these bibs worked so it might be more complicated once they started working. However, the job turned out to be the simpler version. Again, they explained all, were professional, reliable and very friendly. We believe we got a quality job for what we paid! Last night (06/18/24) around 2230 my wife went to get ready for bed and noticed water/sewage had backed up from both of our bathroom shower drains and toilets leaking into both of my bathrooms and master bedroom and made an incredible mess. No toilets, showers or baths anywhere in the house could be used as this made the problem worse. We called Mr. Rooter in Redding California, and they were at our house within an hour. We met our plumber Hunter, who met us with a smile and got right to work. Hunter found the clean-out that was clogged and proceeded to work his magic. After some serious snaking of our pipes, Hunter was able to clear the obstruction and get things moving again. Hunter ran the camera down through the pipes to ensure it was clear. I strongly recommend this company and would definitely use them again. As horrible as the situation was, Hunter was very professional and knowledgeable and put my family at ease throughout the entire process.

I worked with Ahern & Sons way back in 1994 when the company had just finished a generational transfer. The 24 years old son found himself in charge with his mother running the office. They tried out a new contractor who hired me. It took me a month to realize the contractor was a full-time drunk who hung out in the company hotel room all day drinking instead of supplying materials. tools or getting direction from inspectors and lead contractors. When I could'nt get reinbursed for materials I bought because he had already claimed them at the office, I walked away without a word. However,. from my contact with Jeff and his mother I assure you they are fine people who always strive for the best at everything they attempt. It's just the core of their nature that will always be with them. They took that contractor out of the field and put him in the office writing bids but let him go 4 months later, they are good people and wise too.I was not a direct employee yet they paid me to take a 4 hour class to get a state certification for flexible underground gas line connections, they introduced me to custom-order kevlar pipe dough that can pass a 50 psi test. Their family had established standard heights for drains and pressure lines that anticipated future installation problems, their wisdom ran deep. As I was only 29 back then, It is only now that I realize how much I gained from just being around them. I hope the future was good to them.
They could have easily sold us a new toilet, but the woman on the office phone said they would see if it could be fixed first. The tech who made the house call did, indeed fix the problem, saving us a few hundred dollars.
Honest and efficient, a great combination that is rare in this day and age. Ii will gladly recommend them to anyone who has plumbing issues.

We needed to replace our water heater. Earl’s plumbing was very helpful and honest in regards to the types of possible upgrades we could go with. There was no pressure and we went with what was affordable for us. They came the next day and the installation was flawless.
These guys will make every effort to fix your plumbing problem. I had my main sewer line completely backed up only to find out it was broken in two places. Ray, the owner was responsive and was quick to get his crew out to my place and do the work necessary to get everything running again. Don't hesitate to call these guys.
Our home warrenty sent Schuler Plumbing for what we thought was a clogged bathtub drain. The gentleman that came was great he knew right away that it was something different and he fixed it quick and with no problems. The gentleman was kind, respectful and explained everthing he was doing.
We recently had to have a shower valve replaced. This involved cutting into the drywall behind the shower, installing new fixtures, and retrofitting a 1963 shower stall to finally join the modern age! The plumber was very friendly and took the time to explain the job to me. Everyone was kind and the work was done fast! A huge bonus was the cost— less than half of what some of the other “Big Name” plumbers in Redding quoted the job at! I highly recommend Sentry Plumbing!
If they had more star options I would have given max. Awesome experience from start to finish. Communication was on point and so refreshing to have good quality work done in a timely manner. Cleaned up after the installation was complete and left it better then when he came.
