“Absolutely the best! They were so responsive, knowledgeable and friendly! Called on a weekend because we bought a tankless water heater and we needed it installed. The person we spoke to was so kind, we told him the unit we bought and he just advised that we do a bit of research on the brand. He did not try to sell us something else, he was still going to come to install it, just wanted to make us aware of the reputation of that brand and he was RIGHT! After we did some research we realized that we did not make the best decision. We decided to have them come in, give us a quote and we decided to chose their unit - and at a fantastic price! Labor and unit! We shopped around quite a bit before and I was quite happy with the price Mr. Rooter gave us. Hunter was the one that came and installed the unit and he did an amazing job! Even swept after his work, left the place spotless! He took away our old unit and boxes that the new one came in so there was no clean up needed for us to do! 10/10! Can’t recommend them enough!“

“I worked with Ahern & Sons way back in 1994 when the company had just finished a generational transfer. The 24 years old son found himself in charge with his mother running the office. They tried out a new contractor who hired me. It took me a month to realize the contractor was a full-time drunk who hung out in the company hotel room all day drinking instead of supplying materials. tools or getting direction from inspectors and lead contractors. When I could'nt get reinbursed for materials I bought because he had already claimed them at the office, I walked away without a word. However,. from my contact with Jeff and his mother I assure you they are fine people who always strive for the best at everything they attempt. It's just the core of their nature that will always be with them. They took that contractor out of the field and put him in the office writing bids but let him go 4 months later, they are good people and wise too.I was not a direct employee yet they paid me to take a 4 hour class to get a state certification for flexible underground gas line connections, they introduced me to custom-order kevlar pipe dough that can pass a 50 psi test. Their family had established standard heights for drains and pressure lines that anticipated future installation problems, their wisdom ran deep. As I was only 29 back then, It is only now that I realize how much I gained from just being around them. I hope the future was good to them.“
“Our AC unit stopped in the middle of the night, our Home Warranty was no help except for finding a company in SACRAMENTO who couldn't get to us until July 1st ...2 weeks away. With Redding heat this wasn't going to work... we took matters into our hands and called Paul... he returned our call on a SATURDAY in a matter of minutes. Although he was busy Paul contacted someone who came from his company to save our day... "DON"! Our unit was fixed with in a few minutes and trying to currently cool our home!
