“The Spanaway walmart center vision team are excellent! Check in was a breeze and the staff did great to answer all my questions and get me checked out in a timely manner. Associates were knowledgable and friendly and would recommend for any of your eye care needs.“

“I wish I could remember everyone's name who assisted me while I was there, but I can say that no matter who I spoke with, everything was excellent! I checked in for my appointment 15 minutes early and started browsing for frames. Within 10 minutes, they took me to the back for testing. Within another five, I was seeing the doctor himself. Being that I am new to the state of Washington (but not VisionWorks), he read over my notes from the Denver doctor. We spoke about my former lazy eye, astigmatism, and what I'm trying to achieve... he provided his recommendation & sent me back out for frames/payment. [Super quick exam, friendly and knowledgeable!]

The person who helped me with the frames and to check out, was super sweet! The insurance that I have is not the easiest to work with as she had to individually key in every price... she kept apologizing for the length of time it was taking (even though I felt it was going quickly.) All in all, I was in and out in about an hour. The majority of that time was me picking out frames, haha.

“I was able to schedule an appointment on a Friday for Monday, that was nice. My PCP could never. They take wellpoint/apple here for the exam, so my appointment was free. Showed up Monday and was seen fairly quickly, the optometrist was very friendly and answered all my questions easily. For an optometrist appointment it was surprisingly pleasant. All the staff here are very nice.“

“I’ve been coming here for years. Hands down my favorite place for glasses and continued eye care. They’ve exceeded my expectations last time we came in. My child’s glasses were broken. Was planning on paying for them. Was informed that they were on warranty and they’ve fixed them for free. Did I mention we didn’t bring the arms of the glasses that were broken. They took the lenses out and put them in the floor frames so there was no wait for fixing them.“

“I had ordered some progressive eyeglasses from an online store. I could not see at all, so I returned them. I went into Vista Optical located in Fred Meyer and met Brytani. She was AWESOME. She had me check my prescription with my doctor. I found it was good. It was just that the online store was poor in quality. She ordered my glasses after finding me a fantastic deal. I got a pair of regular progressives and a pair of sunglasses. They were perfect! The manager of the store is super helpful too. Everyone is so helpful and nice. Go there and SEE for yourself!“

“Saw doctor Nathan Gorham. I’ve had negative experiences at the Lacey/Tumwater Costco optical but Nathan was awesome. Got in and out in like 20min. I explained to him my concerns and having gotten bad prescriptions before from doctors who tried to give me contacts for my astigmatism (but they never work as good as the ones without). He tried a few different things and then gave me the perfect prescription. He went through the images with me afterword and taught me some new things about the eyes. Great experience overall and great customer service. They also have forms for people with VSP insurance so you can get reimbursed for your appointment.“

“I went there pre-covid and did not have a good experience. The Dr. rushed my appt, barely said 2 words and was gone in less than 10 minutes. I don't know the name of the Dr back then or the one we had today. They do not introduce themselves. I think it was the same one but I can't say for sure. Anyway, totally different experience today. He was thorough and explained what was going on with my son. My son is almost completely blind in his right eye and 20/30 in his left. He gave me advice on vision therapy and explained there was still hope for my son's vision. He was very kind and helped us pick glasses that were appropriate for him. It was pretty spendy $650 because he needs special lenses and a back up pair that our state medical covered. I also got an exam and have state medical. Reception was helpful and friendly. I didn't feel less than or treated badly for state medical like I have read on some reviews. Their glasses are quite expensive. I will get mine from warby Parker.

I was immediately able to walk up to the check-in counter. Sharon helped me and was very kind. I was seen within 2 minutes of sitting down so right at my appointment time. I was seen by Jennifer Pinson who was very nice as well. They were knowledgeable and answered my questions. Even told me the price of the prescription. Check out was easy and a younger blonde female helped me schedule my next appointment. I was in and out within 20 minutes. Overall, great experience!“
