“My wife and I, not from the area, were in Seattle area for a couple of days before going to Portland for a conference. She ended up having some issue due to her contact lens and was in a degree of discomfort.

Dr. Stephanie was able to see us immediately, was attentive to my wife's discomfort, set her up with two prescriptions, sent her records to the Dr.'s colleague in the Portland area in case we needed a follow-up a couple of days later AND stayed in touch with us afterwards.

We did not need the follow up, but being taken care of so far from home AND having the ability to follow up if needed, was comforting.

Front office staff on the phone was very friendly, polite and helpful as well as in person. Dr Javaheri and her team treated me with the utmost level of professionalism. They spent quite some time running various tests for my eyes. Dr. Javaheri systematically walked me through her assessment explaining what went well and what did not about each part of my eyes, encouraging me to ask questions which she provided answers for. Dr. Anita Nguyen and her entire staff are not only the sweetest humans, but they’re thorough, intelligent and patient. She had the newest tech I have personally seen, which made the exam so much more in-depth than what I am normally used to! Our exam was so informative that it left me a little shocked thinking back on every other eye exam I’ve had in the past.

This is the kind of doctor and place you want your entire family and community to see. She is thorough through and through, and I will never go anywhere else!“

“We had a wonderful experience at the Tukwila store!

My husband and I had our eye exams done and tried to buy glasses recently at the Tacoma office and it didn't work out.

However, Brittani at the Tukwila location went above and beyond to provide excellent customer service showing empathy, kindness, and professionalism. She is extremely knowledgeable when discussing lens sizes and frames to meet our individual needs. For example, there is an issue with my husband's current lenses being too large and she explained why it was difficult to see/use as progressives.

I just got off the phone with another representative at the Tukwila store about our new glasses, and once again was shown terrific customer service.

Our family is happy to drive further to this location annually to have eye exams, assistance from Brittani, and be treated with courtesy and respect by all staff with a great selection of frames in Tukwila. Thank you!“

“I've been coming here for years. Started here because of proximity to work but even after changing jobs, I still come here. They also have a really cute selection of frames. Pricier than most places though.“

“I've been to East Hill Optometey twice now, and both times were great experiences. The eye physician there is so kind, knowledgeable and thorough. Back in April, he did an eye exam for me and helped fit me with contact lenses so I could see while snorkeling in Hawaii. The lens samples he gave me were perfect and the trip wound up excellent, in no small part from being able to see all the cool fish underwater!

Then yesterday, I went in to get an updated glasses prescription. Same thing, doc was outstanding.The front desk attendant was very sweet as well. I thought I'd left my debit card behind after leaving, and the staff checked the whole premise and called me back letting me know they'd looking. It wound up that it had slipped out of my wallet and was in my own purse, but I was so grateful that they spent the time to both look and follow up with me.

I'd recommend this location for any eye need. My only criticism is wishing they had a more extensive glasses selection. Thank you!“
