At a wellness visit at the beginning of the school year, it came to our attention that my oldest son was possibly in need of glasses. Our pediatrician recommended we take him to a legit optometrist place (and not just a large chain) to get him correctly examined. I found Family EyeCare Associates on Yelp and so glad I did! Check-in was simple and easy and all the front desk ladies working that morning absolutely loved my son and were great with him. Have gone twice including to get contacts for the first time. The doctor was so nice and patient while teaching me to put in and take out contacts. Every time I’ve been there or talked over the phone with them, they’ve been helpful, clear, and friendly!

I am not a fan of eye doctors. My past experience has made it less than enjoyable between all the lights and the repeatative "1 or 2" BUT this place blew my expectations.When you walk in, the office is open and bright. The front desk is friendly and welcoming, warm even. When you go back for the initial review after paperwork but before the Dr, the experience is more like a conversation than a clinical intake. When the Dr takes over, it's like the conversation just continues rather than starts over.
