Seconds after opening the electrical panel of my outside HVAC system, he spotted the issue immediately. Before he even touched a tool, he took the time to walk me through the entire situation. He amusingly explained that the run capacitor was completely inoperable and needed to be replaced. He swapped out the part, rewired everything with total confidence, secured the panel, and flipped the power switch. The machine roared back to life right away! To top it all off, he gave me some fantastic preventative maintenance recommendations on how to keep the system running clean and efficiently moving forward. “Replaced one of our HVAC systems. We found DM Select to be very transparent in their assessment of our old unit, which was spewing chlorine-smelling odors to the outdoors. The tech let us view his testing methods and see the severity of the problem on his meter. All the techs that we dealt with at DM Select where very friendly, knowledgeable and willing to answer all questions. We were able to get a replacement of our old unit the very next day, which was important since it was a cold December day and night. Our upstairs unit had to handle the load all by itself, albeit sub-optimal to having both units working. We highly recommend DM Select.“
